I wouldn't get so carried away.

1. Lakers had a week off; Spurs slept on a plane after game 7 and had a day and a half to get ready for game 1

2. Lakers were at home

3. Because of the short layoff, Spurs were constantly rotating players

4. Many had How many points? How long is that gonna happen

5. Despite 1 2 3+4, the lakers STILL almost got run out of their own building.

hopefully 3 more games

he's always had bad games against lakers.

and how many games will tim duncan have 30 points 15+ boards. yea okay.

how many games will parker not be a factor.

how many games will kobe only score 2 points by half time. yea okay.

how many games will lamar get under a double double. yea okay.

how many shots of fishers will rim out? okay.

theres counter arguments to yours.

lakers were lucky to play against utah before the spurs.

the style of utah resembles more of spurs than NO.

i expect a good series. i just think lakers have what it takes to reach the finals though.

So long as ronnie's guarding TD, i expect a few 20+ 15+ games

Tony's averaged over 20+ points against LA

Manu, though his numbers against LA aren't that great, Are much better than last night's game. (14-5-4)

TD's been guarded by bynum the first two games of the season series. Gasol and Turiaf are not NEARLY as good as Byumn defending the post.

As the Spurs have demonstrated against the Lakers before, Duncan can shoot 2-13 and they can still win.

This series is gonna come down to overall team performances, not individual. Anyything can happen.

Kobe was merely toying with the Spurs. And Manu's body is breaking down. He doesn't even have fingernails anymore.

Is that all you point out?

That bad thigns about the Celtics?

Sheesh, some respect you're showing.

Anyways, I had a feeling we would lose.

I hope we make good out of it! Better up those games on the road!

Hopefully we won't make some dumb*%@# fouls.

And Doc really can't coach ... why'd he put TONY ALLEN in?!

AND MAY I ANNOUNCE:

RAY ALLEN IS BACK!

And funny enough, Allen had a terrific night scoring even in foul trouble. Wouldn't go gaga over one night though.

Celtics bench did jack.

Still eager on Carmelo&Camby trade rumors.

Respect? respect towards what.

Do I have to point out other things about the game?

Do I look like i work for ESPN?

Dont get offended because I said your beloved Celts have no sportsmanship by the way they left the floor after the game.

Well what do you expect them to do? Go and hug them and say "Good job you won!"

They showed respect in the begining already.

Hell yeah

Wtf.. TONY ALLEN?

All he did was contribute free throws to DETROIT.

PJ Brown made some nice shots though.

Atleast this makes us more competitive on the road games

Boston will not amount to much playing .500 basketball, they'll need to find a way to win at Detroit, or else it's curtains for them.

^yup i agree. they are poor sports.

Shaq, Big Shot Rob, Foxx, and Kobe are known to be.

and Doc did point over to the other coach which is Kudos to him.

Doc Rivers had to do something. He obviously doesn't know how to coach. Might as well be a good sport.
