Will 'Devil' Park Shin-hye and Kim Jae-young join hands?... Fatal anti-hero chemistry 'crazy relationship' (Judge from Hell)

The relationship between 'Devil' Park Shin-hye and Kim Jae-young is fluctuating. Will they join hands?

SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge from Hell' is enjoying a double hit by catching both viewership ratings and buzz. While three new dramas were released in a similar time slot, the viewership ratings actually increased, breaking its own record, and Park Shin-hye (as Kang Bit-na) confidently took first place in the drama category's topic rankings for the second week of October.

At the center of 'Judge from Hell's' run to first place is the 'crazy relationship' between the two main characters Kang Bit-na and Han Da-on (played by Kim Jae-young). The two, who were intense from their first meeting, shocked viewers with the unprecedented ending in episode 2 where the female protagonist kills the male protagonist. The two then continued to be wary and suspicious of each other, playing tag, and before long, they began to show fatal emotional changes that made hearts sink.

The relationship between the two, who seem to be both disgusting and not, reached a major turning point in the ending of episode 8. Han Da-on, who lost her precious family to serial killer J after 25 years, turned dark and shouted to Kang Bit-na, “Please kill me.” Kang Bit-na shed tears as she deeply empathized with Han Da-on’s desperate anger. The two actors Park Shin-hye and Kim Jae-young poured all their energy into their passionate performances, completing an all-time-best ending and drawing a heated response.

In the midst of this, the unreleased stills from the ending of episode 8 of “Judge from Hell” were released on October 17. The red drops of blood splattering on Park Shin-hye’s face and her eyes moist with stormy emotions create a strong contrast, stealing the spotlight. Kim Jae-young, who expressed his heart-rending anger and sadness by even drawing blood from his neck, also elicits admiration. The sight of the two people facing each other feels like trapping the viewer in a storm of emotions.

The tears of the devil Kang Bit-na. The darkening of the human Han Da-on. The relationship between the two is expected to fluctuate more strongly than before. Regarding this, the production team of 'Judge from Hell' said, "Whether Kang Bit-na and Han Da-on will join hands or whether they will be able to find and punish the serial killer J together will be an important plot point in the latter half of the story. We ask for a lot of interest and anticipation for the changes in their relationship and the explosive acting of the two actors Park Shin-hye and Kim Jae-young."

Episode 9 of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge from Hell', which will be more intense, stronger, and hotter, will air for 80 minutes on Friday, October 18th at 10 PM.

SBS Friday-Saturday Drama 'Judge from Hell'

[My Daily = Reporter Park Seo-yeon] 'Judge from Hell' will present an exciting 80 minutes to the home theater.

SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge from Hell' (written by Jo Yi-soo, directed by Park Jin-pyo, Jo Eun-ji) has solidified its position as the strongest Friday-Saturday drama by continuously breaking its own highest viewership ratings record. Some say that the increase in viewership ratings is even more encouraging, given that three new dramas aired at similar timeslots on Fridays and

Saturdays at 10 p.m. In addition, according to an announcement by Good Data Corporation, a K-content topic analysis agency, 'Judge from Hell's' lead actress Park Shin-hye (as Kang Bit-na) confidently took first place in the drama category's topic rankings for the second week of October. 'Judge from Hell' ranked second in drama topic. Attention is being paid to how far 'Judge from Hell', which has captured not only viewership ratings but also topicality, will continue its 'crazy upward trend' in the future.

Meanwhile, on the 16th, the production team of 'Judge From Hell' focused attention by announcing the 80-minute programming of episodes 9 to be aired on the 18th and 10 to be aired on the 19th. Accordingly, viewers are expected to be able to enjoy 'Judge From Hell' for two consecutive episodes a little longer and a little more thrillingly.

During that time, the two main characters, Kang Bit-na, who has taken over the body of a judge, and humane hot-blooded detective Han Da-on (Kim Jae-young), showed a unique relationship that goes back and forth between loveliness and fatality. In episode 2, Kang Bit-na misunderstands Han Da-on as a murderer and kills him to send him to hell. Han Da-on came back to life because he was innocent, but after that, Kang Bit-na and Han Da-on were wary and suspicious of each other, and they played a game of tag and were chased, increasing the dramatic tension.

SBS Friday-Saturday Drama 'Judge from Hell'

However, in the ending of episode 8, the relationship between the two reached a major turning point. Kim So-young (Kim Hye-hwa), who was as precious as her family to Han Da-on, was murdered, and as the prime suspect, serial killer J, who murdered Han Da-on's family 25 years ago, emerged, Han Da-on asked Kang Bit-na to "kill some people." Kang Bit-na also deeply empathized with Han Da-on's emotions as if she was about to collapse, and shed tears despite being a devil, shocking the viewers. The change in their relationship is expected to be an important viewing point in the latter half of 'Judge from Hell'.

Regarding this, the production team of 'Judge from Hell' said, "In episodes 9 and 10 that will air this week, a powerful story storm will come surrounding the devil Kang Bit-na who feels emotions and sheds tears, and the human Han Da-on who has become darkened by anger. On top of that, a new case related to serial killer J begins, giving viewers 160 minutes without a single dull moment. The actors’ passionate performances, which have become even more powerful, will also sweep us away. We ask for much interest and anticipation from viewers,” he said.

Episode 9 of SBS’s Friday-Saturday drama “Judge from Hell” will air for 80 minutes starting at 10 p.m. on Friday the 18th, and episode 10 will air for 80 minutes starting at 9:50 p.m. on Saturday the 19th.

It is firmly maintaining its position as the number 1 weekly drama, continuously breaking its own highest viewership record even amidst the onslaught of new works.

'Judge from Hell', which has aired up to 8 episodes, has drawn a new episode every two episodes centered around the main characters Kang Bit-na and Han Da-on, allowing viewers to enjoy a powerful cider without getting bored. Various actors with acting skills and individuality have appeared as special appearances or as episode characters, captivating the eyes and ears of viewers with their best performances. Sometimes, they even cause extreme anger and turn the living room theater upside down.

First, Shin Sung-rok (as Bael) and Oh Na-ra (as Justitia) decorated the first episode of 'Judge from Hell' with special appearances. The two actors clearly showed the world of hell in the play with their impactful acting, increasing the immersion. Oh Na-ra observed how Park Shin-hye acted as Justitia in the body of a judge and acted accordingly. Shin Sung-rok appeared not only in the first episode but also in important moments, showing his presence and increasing the tension of the play.

Jang Do-ha (as Moon Jung-joon) and Park Jung-yeon (as Cha Min-jung), who appeared as the perpetrator and victim of dating violence in episodes 1 and 2, respectively, caught the eye with their realistic acting. The passionate acting of the two actors who spared no effort dramatically showed Kang Bit-na's 'eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth' punishment method, completing the signature fun of 'Judge from Hell'.

In episodes 3 and 4, actor Im Se-joo (as Bae Ja-young) appeared as an insurance murder and child abuse perpetrator and became an outrage inducer with his creepy performance. Many viewers praised Im Se-joo's acting, saying, "I was fooled." Also, in episodes 5 and 6, actor Yang Kyung-won (as Yang Seung-bin) appeared as the perpetrator of a family murder case and gave an all-time-best performance. by E Ezeji

SBS’s “The Judge from Hell” has extended the running time of its ninth and tenth episodes!

“The Judge from Hell” is a fantasy romance drama starring Park Shin Hye as Kang Bit Na, a demon from hell who has entered the body of a judge. After meeting the compassionate detective Han Da On (Kim Jae Young), who works hard at his job in a reality harsher than hell, Kang Bit Na embarks on a journey to becoming a true judge.

The drama continues to break its own viewership records, solidifying its position as the top Friday-Saturday drama. This achievement is particularly impressive, given that it competes in the same 10 p.m. time slot as three other new shows.

On October 16, the production team of “The Judge from Hell” announced that episodes 9 and 10, scheduled to air on October 18 and 19, respectively, will both be extended to 80 minutes.

Spoilers

So far, the drama has focused on the complicated relationship between Kang Bit Na, a demon inhabiting a judge’s body, and Han Da On, a passionate detective. In episode 2, Bit Na mistook Da On for a murderer and killed him, sending him to hell. Although Da On returned to life, the two have remained wary of each other.

A major twist came at the end of episode 8. When Kim So Young (Kim Hye Hwa), someone Da On deeply cares for, was murdered, suspicion fell on “Serial Killer J,” the same person who killed Da On’s family 25 years ago. Desperate for justice, Da On begged Bit Na to kill the culprit for him. Despite being a demon, Bit Na was so moved by Da On’s grief that she shed tears, leaving viewers stunned. This shift in their relationship will become a key point in the drama’s second half.

Park Shin-hye, 'Judge from Hell', bursts into flames with her reversal of fortune

Actress Park Shin-hye is giving viewers a refreshing feeling of refreshment by turning criminals into criminals in 'Judge from Hell'.

SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge from Hell' contains a story about a demon named Kang Bit-na (Park Shin-hye) who enters the body of a judge and returns the crimes and actions of criminals to them. The viewership ratings of 'Judge from Hell' soared, breaking its own record by recording 13.1% in Episode 6 and 13.6% in Episode 8. The analysis is that the frustration felt in the odd-numbered episodes where the episodes begin changed into catharsis in the even-numbered episodes as the criminals are punished. Episode 6 shows Kang Bit-na taking revenge on Yang Seung-bin (Yang Kyung-won), the head of the household who murdered his entire family, and Episode 8 shows Kang Bit-na taking revenge on Choi Won-joong (Oh Eui-sik), a conglomerate who murdered a labor union leader and has been abusing his power.

'Judge from Hell' is especially popular with female viewers, who are its main audience, and it is said that everything from the subject matter to the way it is presented is tailored to their tastes. The crimes that appear as the subject matter of 'Judge from Hell' are mainly based on things that women experience in today's society, such as dating murder and domestic violence. The male perpetrators rebel and rush at Kang Bit-na, who asks, "Are you reflecting on the victims?", but Kang Bit-na easily subdues them and shows them mercilessly beating them. In addition, the scenes where Kang Bit-na wields violence are not improbable violence, but rather the exact actions of the perpetrators, which justifies the refreshing feeling that viewers feel.

Popular culture critic Kim Seong-su said, "'Judge from Hell' is a work that clearly sets the gender of its target viewers," and explained, "In particular, there are many young people who feel anxiety and fear in today's society where the judiciary is not fulfilling its role. If there is content that represents the fear felt in everyday life and takes revenge, they cannot help but get sucked in." She added, "It's a drama that women, who are relatively weak in society, can't help but be enthusiastic about because it shows the emotions women feel in their daily lives through mirroring, a method often used in feminism."

0003387842_002_20241018062507485.jpeg?ty

In order to punish a criminal as a devil with a strong light, the criminal on trial must first be released, but as a judge, he must state reasons for reducing the sentence for the crime and declare the crime not guilty. Reasons such as mental weakness due to drinking and first-time offenders of the same type of crime are used. These reasons are similar to the reasons why criminals receive reduced sentences in today's society, which increases viewers' frustration, but also serves as a device for viewers to feel greater satisfaction when the criminals pay the price. Writer Jo I-soo, who was in charge of the script, explained the intention behind the planning of 'Judge from Hell', saying, "I wanted to clearly show the criminals how serious their sins were and how much pain the victims suffered." He added, "I thought of combining this with the genre characteristics of fantasy, and using Kang Bit-na's abilities as a devil to return the sins of the criminals to them."

On the other hand, there are reactions that the process of Park Shin-hye committing the copycat crime is too cruel to be broadcast on terrestrial TV. There are reactions that the scenes of blood and knives being used are frequently exposed, which could be triggering for viewers. Regarding this, the production team of 'Judge from Hell' stated, "'Judge from Hell' is rated for ages 15 and up and we are working to meet the appropriate censorship standards for the show."
