tvN’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Parole Examiner Lee” has unveiled an engaging new teaser!

“Parole Examiner Lee” follows lawyer Lee Han Shin (Go Soo), who becomes a parole officer responsible for making final decisions on inmate paroles. Lee Han Shin is determined to prevent inmates who show little remorse for their crimes from obtaining paroles through money, connections, or deceitful tactics.

The newly released teaser highlights Go Soo’s captivating portrayal of Lee Han Shin, a sharp and skilled parole examiner with a quirky, unyielding demeanor. Lee Han Shin’s duality shines through—he delivers stern decisions with charisma, yet takes great pleasure in preventing parole of those undeserving.

The teaser begins with Lee Han Shin, impeccably dressed in a suit, swiftly stamping “approved” or “denied” on parole requests. His confident, precise movements leave no doubt about his expertise as a top-tier parole examiner. When he reaches the final file, he pauses, scrutinizing it before scoffing and declaring, “You can’t be released into the world yet,” raising the stamp with conviction.

As the stamp comes down, it seamlessly transforms into a coffee cup, and the dim parole hearing room shifts to a brightly lit office—his law firm. There, Lee Han Shin relaxes with a smile, casually enjoying a piece of bread, while a witty caption flashes: “An exhilarating defense battle to block those with no conscience from getting parole!”

The teaser wraps up with upbeat music and a radio news report announcing, “The parole of Ohjung Group Chairman Ji Dong Man has been denied,” followed by Lee Han Shin breaking into a celebratory dance. First teaser trailer for tvN drama “Parole Examiner Lee”

First teaser trailer added for tvN drama series “Parole Examiner Lee” starring Ko Soo & Kwon Yuri. The first teaser trailer begins with Lee Han-Shin (Ko Soo) at his desk and going through piles of parole eligibility papers. He stamps “eligible” or “ineligible” on the papers. Ko Soo narrates the teaser trailer with (0:14) “You shouldn’t go out into the world already,” (0:19) “Blocking parole for those with bad conscience,” and (0:20) “Thrilling  impregnability defense fight.”

“Parole Examiner Lee” will first air November 18, 2024 in South Korea (takes over tvN’s Monday & Tuesday 8:50 PM time slot after “Dongjae, the Good or the RickRoll'D“).

Plot Synopsis by AsianWiki: Lee Han-Shin (Ko Soo) works as a parole examiner. He goes up against evil people who try to manipulate the parole system by using their money or backgrounds. He implements justice in his own way. He works with Choi Hwa-Ran (Baek Ji-Won). She is known as a legend in the private lending world. Her purpose to help Lee Han-Shin is to recover money that she couldn’t get back herself.

Meanwhile, An Seo-Yun (Kwon Yuri) is an ace detective. She catches bad people to make a better world. Ji Myeong-Seob (Lee Hak-Joo) is the son of a chaebol family. He is arrogant and fearless due to his background.
