Anywahoo, I wanted to thank Kalena for providing the Shoot Dori cuts! I wish that somehow the Happy Sunday CDs wouldn't split the Shoot Dori segment, because it takes so long to get both parts. But it's all right because the show's worth it.

ok since i am retarded and crazy, i translated an article about shootdori's winning game. you have to highlight everything...

Singer Kim Jong Gook expressed his happiness and excitement at his little league soccer team's, Shoot-dori, first win.

Kim Jong Gook, who is the permanent coach of FC Shootdori, embraced the team's first win against the KOSA Soccer Team at the 'Shootdori Dome' on the 7th.

'Nal Ah Ra Shoot-dori's' main PD commented, "When Shootdori was losing against KOSA 1-0, shootdori's striker, Kim Tae Hoon, equalized the score to 1-1. Ever since the 10th of last year, the KBS shootdori team has lost all 9 games they have played and ranked the lowest among their division.

Meanwhile, Kim Jong Gook, who was overjoyed at his team's victory in 5 months, commented, "Our first win still seems like a dream to me."

Shootdori's winning game will be aired on the 19th.

it's this week!! OMG... if they end the show right in the middle of a game and make me wait another week for the darn ending, i am going to cry. according to the article, they won 3-2.. wow that's amazing. i wonder who made the second goal?.. of course, when that beautiful sunday comes, we should give props to the crazy defense team (seung kwon, ahh <333) and our goalie (do i need to say more?).. but i will wait until this week to actually go full out crazy. haha wow i need to go and calm myself down~~

- i still can't believe they call the ref "songhaegyo", hahahah. she was good at ref-ing today, but other days...... sigh. hope she pays more attention.

- hyunwoo still falls when he kicks the ball too hard<3 you just gotta smile when you see his effort tho ^__^ i never noticed he's the same height as the older boys

- taehoon doesnt want "vanilla맛" anymore, he wants "goal맛," hahaha!! whooo!

- seungkwon being so small and having "엄청난 숏다리" HAHAHA ^__^!! &his amazing defense. i'm seriously more and more impressed with his effort

- jiwoo trying to encourage seungkwon, "you're cute" ^^ she's improving too

- seungjoon throwing himself everywhere & blocking so many attempts, SO PROUD!!! xD

- sungwoo poking the other team, "i wanna talk to you..." HAHAH i love to see him run with all his might

- minho, wish he could've had the chance to kick the ball. he always makes it FLY right in~.. but at least he got the first goal, wheee!!

gosh i have so much work to do....... but 16 is calling me~ what to do... ^^

Thanks TW1NKLE for the translations. Thanks also to those who gave random spot translations of the series. Makes the kids' personalities shine more - especially Ji Woo who unfortunately didn't get much field time. In episode 16, she's more assertive on the field. Fighting!

Anyway, general football (soccer) terms, just because I had the time. UK terms, I believe. Scroll through if you don't want to read. >dies<

Equaliser = The goal to even the score.

E.g. If the score is 4-3, and someone scored to make it 4-4, then the goal is called an equaliser.

Tie = Score is even.

Tieing (sp?) the score means to even the score.

Hat trick = To score 3 goals in a game by the same player.

Goal Kick = Basically the goalie kicks the ball to resume play after saving the ball or when the ball went out, by the rival player, past the goal line.

Corner Kick = Awarded after a missed attempt at the goal or when the ball went out at the base line, but the ball was touched by a member of the defending team. This one has a high chance of success if played well (more so if the team has an awesome kicker).

Free Kick = Awarded after being fouled at other places on the field.

Throw In = When they throw the ball in after the ball went out.

Hand Ball = When the ball touches the hand(s) of the player other than the goalie.

Diving = Deliberately falling down and exagerrated acting (of pain/injury etc) to make the rival get a foul. Would get a yellow card if the referee sees through the act.

PK = Penalty Kick.

Very high success rate of scoring. Player vs Goalie one on one.

Given when a player is fouled within the 'box' in front of the goal or a hand ball.

Also used as a tie breaker if the score is still the same after extra time and they're not playing for Golden Goal (? - Sudden death). Tie breakers would need 5 alternating tries for each team.

Yellow card = Warning card.

Second yellow card is the last warning. If you fouled again, the red card would go up. (yellow, yellow, red)

Red card = You're out. (And I think you cannot be substituted which means your team would be playing with less player)

I think those terms already appear in the Shoot Dori games (well, maybe not the diving and the red card!). There are other terms, but I don't think they use it in the kids' league like injury time, extra time, golden goal, offside (shudders... hard to explain this! ) etc.

By the way, how long is one match for the kids' league? All I know is that it is divided into quarters. Normal adult league is 90 mins.

Oh, Min Ho the jjang! <3 His kick improves so much! Now all he needs to do is practice doing the curving kick ala David Beckham so they have a higher chance of success during corner kick and the free kick just outside the box. His ball curved a bit, I think. >bias< He's going to be one heck of a midfielder!
