Lee Byung Hun's two blackmailers have received their first trial date. GLAM's Kim Dahee and model Lee Ji Yeon will be standing in court on October 16 after they were charged with blackmailing the actor Lee Byung Hun for 5 billion won. Lee Ji Yeon and Kim Dahee blackmailed Lee Byung Hun with videos taken on their phones earlier last month, after which Lee Byung Hun immediately contacted the police. According to the police, the three met in July through mutual acquaintances, and proceeded to meet multiple times. Then Lee Ji Yeon asked Lee Byung Hun to buy her a house, among other financial requests. Lee Byung Hun asked to cut ties with her. Afterwards, Lee Ji Yeon and Kim Dahee tried to blackmail Lee Byung Hun with footage of Lee Byung Hun making inappropriate comments. The police arrested Lee Ji Yeon and Kim Dahee on September 1. On September 23, Lee Byung Hun was questioned by the police as a plaintiff. The police also revealed that Lee Ji Yeon did not have a steady income, and that Kim Dahee had a debt of over 300 million won (approximately 300,000 USD) to her management company, Big Hit Entertainment.
