Female vocal trio Lush released its second single “Yesterday” on November 25.

The members of Lush made their debut with their first single “Miserable” in July, displaying their exquisite vocal prowess.

The concept of “Yesterday” lies in finding a new self, rather than dwelling on the pain of separation. The refreshing chorus, which is a combination of rock and pop comes beautifully together to create a memorable song. It's a collaboration piece by Polar Bear and Wontag.

Lush might be considered as a rookie group, but it will be worth paying close attention to the group as there will be more promotional activities. Lush’s members are experienced vocalists having prior experience behind the scenes as back up vocals for some of Korea’s top artists as well as vocal trainers and working on albums of several famous artists.

Lush members Jamie, Mini and Sara share the same age; they are all 25 years old.

Lush leader Jamie studied at the Seoul Institute of the Arts, majoring in Applied Music, and was the vocal trainer for actresses Park Shin Hye ("Heirs") and Park Se Young ("Faith", "School 2013"), as well as Park Jang Hyun from “Superstar K3.” She has also provided backing vocals for “Present” (off the movie OST for “Speed Scandal”), Lee Seung Hwan Band, Park Jin Young, Brown Eyed Soul, Kim Yeon Woo, Ahn Jae Wook, and Brown Eyed Girls.

Fellow member Mini previously provided backing vocals for Bobby Kim, Turtles, and Double K, while Sara featured on and provided live backing vocals for some of the nation’s top artists, such as Jo Sung Mo, Davichi, Dynamic Duo, Brown Eyed Girls, Park Ji Yoon, Big Bang, and G-Dragon. She also provided back-up vocals on “I Am A Singer” and “Superstar K.”

Lush’s agency, Oscar Entertainment, is home to artists such as Bobby Kim, Double K, and Buga Kingz. They are certainly confident that Lush will bring something new to the idol-dominated pop music scene.
