The 'Ordinary Day' singer confirmed on Facebook on Thursday (June 26) that she is expecting her first child with husband John McCauley.
Her new album Liberman was announced earlier this year, but will now have its release date pushed back to summer 2015.



Last year, Carlton was diagnosed with an ectopic pregnancy, which resulted in her having emergency surgery to remove her right fallopian tube.
In December, the star married McCauley in a secret ceremony officiated by Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks.
Carlton's Liberman will serve as the follow-up to her 2011 album Rabbits on the Run.
