CHUNFACE OF THE DAY - TGWSS EPS.13 BY ROWEINA

 
It was the 1st time I made mistake when  guessing what will happen on this eps from  the  video preview  XD..From the hair pin till the kidnapping. What an eps.13? Hehe....N I like the twist...
 
For ChunFace of the Day (13), I chose these one....The very different expression from our ChunNi...The Deathly Gaze n the puppy face expression....

I like that CR want to spill her secret. N I'm agree with her. Her ability isn't the reason why MG has been oddly smart in the investigation. Coz if he couldn't make deduction from everything she see, it become only something she see. Couldn't solve the case. The conclusion is MuRim is a couple that complete each other.
 
N off course, ability like that need a prove. But.....

Did I see MooGakkie's flying kiss? LOL....So, he want a kiss? Hehe...Yes,Writernim.... U own Us another kiss scenes. A passionate romantic kiss scene,please.... I think CR is ready now... hahaha....

I like that CR always look at MooGakkie everytime got question. N yeah, our MuRim can trust them to not talk to anyone about CR's eyes. N it's good they only shock when see her eyes but not thinking CR is a monster.

CHUNFACE OF THE DAY - TGWSS EPS.14 BY ROWEINA

 
On this eps, we didn't get lovey dove scene from our MuRim but we got emotional moment n I really love it. We also got intense scenes from our 2nd lead. Actually this eps had more scenes from our 2nd lead than our MuRim but I don't mind. N to be honest from all ChunNi's drama, it's the 1st time I like scenes from both 2nd lead when ChunNi even not in the same scene.
 

 

N as always, We (me) got the "number" scene. But not just Writernim Fav number (3) but also ChunNi's (6) n mine (4 & 7) . XD

The cameo of Han Tae Kyung n ChunNi himself.  LOL..... As ChunNi's fanboy, Writernim really want to show all his characters before on this drama. XD....For MooGakkie wearing glasses actually it's like LeeGakkie (some of U might be know the moment when I became a Chunsa was because I saw LeeGak wearing glasses n act as Tae Young, Hehehe) but I think it's more look like ChunNi himself. Our Chunbita or Chun Potter  or Chun Kent.... Hahaha
 

 

I think on this eps, not only Tae Kyung, Lee Gak as a cameo. But also Song Yoo Hyun n Han Jung Woo. N if Writernim really want to show all character, he can make MooGakkie wear hanbok (is the traditional costume for man also named as hanbok? ) on MuRim's wedding. LOL... or MooGakkie will also has moustache.  LOL... or like LSJ n his wife became partner (teacher) in school, our MuRim became partner (detective) in police department.  LOL...

Choi Moo Gak (played by Park Yoo Chun) in drama ‘Sensory Couple’ was voted as the most popular new drama character over Gu Dae Young (played by Yoon Du Jun) in ‘Let’s Eat 2.’

From May 11th until 17th, Korean entertainment news channel StarN News held a poll for the most popular new drama character, and Park Yoo Chun won over Yoon Du Jun, winning 13,639 more votes.

Park Yoo Chun and Yoon Du Jun are each playing in drama ‘Sensory Couple’ and ‘Let’s Eat 2’ as Choi Moo Gak and Gu Dae Young, and both guys are getting hot reactions from many viewers for their performance.

29,997people have participated in the poll, and Park Yoo Chun was selected as the most popular drama character, receiving 21,818 votes (73%).

Park Yoo Chun, who is a member of boy band JYJ, has played in dramas ‘Sungkyunkwan Scandal,’ ‘Miss Ripley,’ ‘Rooftop Princess,’ ‘I Miss You,’ and ‘Three Days’ during recent few years, and he is playing in drama ‘Sensory Couple’ these days.

Yoon Du Jun, who is a member of boy band BEAST, played in drama ‘IRIS 2’ and movie ‘Return of The Mafia’ during recent few years, and he is playing in drama ‘Let’s Eat 2’ these days.

Meanwhile, StarN News is going to hold a poll for the most popular movie character from May 18th until 24th.

Nam Goong-min ruined Park Yoo-chun and Sin Se-kyeong's wedding ceremony.
On the 15th episode of SBS Wednesday & Thursday drama, Choi Moo-gak (Park Yoo-chun) and Oh Cho-rim (Sin Se-kyeong) had their wedding.
Choi Moo-gak proposed to Oh Cho-rim after he arrested the serial killer Kwon Jae-hee. Choi Moo-gak could get out of the trauma caused from his past and he recovered his senses. Oh Cho-rim also could recover her memories. Choi Moo-gak quit his police work and decided to go back to his previous work, aquarium.
In the meanwhile, the prisoner transport vehicle carrying Kwon Jae-hee fell into the Han River and Kwon Jae-hee went missing. Although they continued with the search, Kwon Jae-hee was not found. Everybody concluded Kwon Jae-hee was dead. Choi Moo-gak and Oh Cho-rim worked hard on getting ready for their wedding. And the ceremony started finally in the aquarium.
However at the moment when the bride should come out, Kwon Jae-hee appeared in the bride's waiting room and said to Oh Cho-rim alone in the room, "Congratulations on your wedding". As the bride did not show up, Yeom-mi (Yoon Jin-seo) came to the bridal waiting room to check. She informed Choi Moo-gak , "Cho-rim was not there, The bride is missing".

Park Yoochun will hold ‘The Girl Who Sees The Smells’ fan meeting in Japan.
His agency C-Jes Entertainment said, “Park Yoochun will hold his drama fan meeting in Yokohama Arena on June 23 and 24. It’s already attracting lots of people’s attention since the drama will be broadcasted starting June 7 on KNTV”.
‘The Girl Who Sees Smells’ is based on a web-comic and talks about a man who lost his sister in the ‘Bar Code Murder’ 3 years ago and a girl who survived from an accident. She lost her memories but gained a parasensory ability in return.
The drama has a tremendous popularity all around the world and once again proved Park Yoochun’s popularity since fans from diverse countries such as Japan, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong supported him throughout the drama. Also, ‘The Girl Who See Smells’ was at the top of the Weibo Drama Hot Topic.
The staff said, “We can definitely say that Park Yoochun is the most influential Hallyu star in Japan since his popularity is growing day by day. The actor’s ‘Missing You’ fan meeting held last year had a huge popularity and the competition rate for the tickets was very high so we anticipate great interest and attention for the next fan meeting as well”.
Meanwhile, ‘The Girl Who Sees The Smells’ will air its last episode today and Park Yoochun will hold his fans meeting in Korea University Hwajung Gymnasium on May 30 and 31.

An Explosive End (Literally!) to “The Girl Who Sees Smells” Eps 15 and 16

Bombs, death, and wedding bells, oh my! “The Girl Who Sees Smells” sure knows how to give a fluffy yet intense finale and I, for the most part, loved every moment of it! Let’s dive right in to all the details, shall we?

The Sense of Panic

Final Call_The Girl Who Sees Smells_Panic
I was surprised when I saw that Chef Kwon Jae Hee (Namgoong Min) actually got arrested so early in episode 15. I honestly thought that he would be able to make his quick getaway and avoid the feeling of handcuffs on his wrists until, maybe, halfway through the last episode. The fact that Jae Hee went back for his trophy books was ultimately the source of his demise, but when it was revealed just how much those books meant to him last week, I would have expected no less.
It was also so amazingly clever and hardcore of Choi Moo Gak (Park Yoochun) to burn the blank notebooks, under the guise that they were the legitimate ones, in order to force Chef Kwon to talk. It was thrilling to see a deadpanned Moo Gak and the side of Chef Kwon that’s weak and childishly fragile.

The Sense of Overactive Imaginations

Final Call_The Girl Who Sees Smells_Imagination
I knew that if Moo Gak’s sister, Choi Eun Seol (Kim So Hyun), hadn’t been murdered, he would have continued to be the chirpy, cheery, goofy, and warm man that he had been, instead of the hardened and burdened version of him. What I didn’t know was just how much of a goofball Moo Gak could really be once those layers of guilt and pressure began to shed away. His imagined scenarios on how he would propose to Oh Cho Rim (Shin Se Kyung) was side-splitting hilarious, especially the one where he got down on one knee in front of a crowd and began singing in a heavily accented, overly dramatic tone. (And did anyone else see the side shot of this scene where Shin Se Kyung wasn’t covering her mouth in an act of being touched… but to hide her laughter? LOL)
But what got to me the most, in a heart fluttering, swoon worthy way, was how Moo Gak ended up proposing when it actually happened. How unique, how loving, and how beautiful was it that he thought to use her unique ability to see scents… to spray out into the air, with her perfume, the question, “Will you marry me?”

The Sense of Family

Final Call_The Girl Who Sees Smells_Family
One of the things I’m happiest about with “The Girl Who Sees Smells” is their consistently positive message about family. There are so many K-dramas out there filled to the max about dysfunctional families and parents with personalities so vicious, it should have prevented them from ever having children, but it’s different here.
Sure, we have Chef Kwon’s unfortunate past where he was abused as a child, but the stronger message is this: A family should be loving, positive, warm, and caring.
We had Cho Rim and her adoptive father’s relationship, which has always tugged on my heartstrings, especially after Cho Rim found out the truth about her past. I was incredibly moved when her father said it was okay for Cho Rim to take back her old name, but she declined, citing that she was also his daughter, so she would like to continue to be Oh Cho Rim.
Final Call_The Girl Who Sees Smells_3
We had Moo Gak’s double duty of parent and brother towards his younger sister, where it was never a burden for him to take her under his wing. We had the team of detectives who became close like family with the courage to so emotionally share the love for one another. We also had Lieutenant Yeom (Yoon Jin Seo) and Cho Rim’s older sister-younger sister friendship, in which they were both willing to sacrifice themselves for the other.
Lastly, we had our beautiful MooRim couple in a relationship in which they support each other through thick and thin. They clearly love each other very much and if the last two episodes weren’t basically just a feel-good ending with a side of wrapping-up-loose-ends, then I don’t know what is!

The Sense of Closure

Final Call_The Girl Who Sees Smells_Closure
Chef Kwon’s death, I felt, was rather unfortunate in the end. From the moment he got caught in episode 15, I was fully expecting him to escape somehow, go into hiding, stalk Cho Rim and Moo Gak, then plan his attack, which would fail – again. When he and Moo Gak took their fight up to the rooftop, it only further solidified my prediction on how the case would finally come to a close, so it was a little disappointing when the outcome played out exactly as I thought it would.
I admit though, that my breath hitched a little bit when the bomb inside their newlywed home went off because, even though I knew it couldn’t have been Moo Gak, I didn’t know who it ended up being… I’m just really glad that the entire team got themselves together in time to figure out Jae Hee’s game before more people got hurt.
Still, I would have liked to continue dissecting the enigma that was Chef Kwon, which made me a little sad that his grand fall towards the pavement took away that opportunity.

The Sense of Happily Ever After

Final Call_The Girl Who Sees Smells_Ever After
The happily ever after to this drama had me fist pumping the air with utter glee. From the beginning, I have loved, and I mean absolutely loved, watching Moo Gak and Cho Rim together, so I would never turn down the funny, the fluffy, and the fantastic when it pertains to our lovely couple.
I particularly love the details that went into their wedding, offering us a deeper glimpse into the road they were paving to their future of happiness. Other K-dramas I’ve seen have always skipped over these steps in light of just giving us the walk down the aisle, but it was quite the opposite in “The Girl Who Sees Smells.”
Cho Rim never got the opportunity to walk, but we clearly got to see everything before it. The picking of the ring, the proposal, the house hunting, the adorable invitation video, the photo shoot, the congratulatory celebration, and even the preparations just before the ceremony. Somehow, it just clicks so well into place and I enjoyed it so thoroughly, I don’t even mind not seeing them taking their vows before their friends and family.
The happy endings don’t just, well, end with Cho Rim and Moo Gak either, as everyone else (except for Jae Hee, of course) also got theirs. Inspector Kang’s (Lee Won Jong) seventh child is finally a girl, but all of his children, cutely, sports the very same mole on their cheek. LOL. Detective Ki (Jo Hee Bong) rekindles his romance with Elena. Lieutenant Yeom becomes a criminology professor and does well with her students and Detective Ye (Choi Tae Joon) stands up to his father in defense of continuing to live his dream.
Final Call_The Girl Who Sees Smells_Happily
“The Girl Who Sees Smells” was an overall delight to watch and I’ve never adored a Park Yoochun pairing more than this one (my previous favorite was with Han Ji Min in “Rooftop Prince“). Of all the things I’ll sorely miss, it’ll be the lighthearted, refreshing comedy, the natural chemistry between our main leads (all those kisses!), and Yoochun’s freedom to go absolutely crazy with his “chur” faces.
But while I’ll miss being able to catch new episodes, I’m still content with having the sixteen wonderful episodes to fall back on as I try to find a way to let go. I find myself replaying a lot of the fluffier scenes and smiling just as widely as I did the first time I saw it, but also replaying some of the more mind blowing and action packed scenes for my weekly (sometimes daily) dose of intensity.
In other words, “The Girl Who Sees Smells” is the type of drama worth a re-watch or two, maybe more, because the sense of appreciation for the hard work everyone put into the production is definitely still present.

CHUNFACE OF THE DAY - TGWSS EPS.15 (PART A) BY ROWEINA

 

 

This one is Part A of this episode review.
 
"Would U Marry Me?" by Choi Moo Gak will always be the Best Question from All ChunNi's character for me. XD...although it just an imaginary.
 

 

Be My Girl (accoustic version) by JYJ was the 1st Video I watched after I knew ChunNi also a Singer n then I knew about Chunglish... n coz I love him for the 1st heard. It's so nice to hear his english. Don't know how to explain it. Sexy english? LOL.....N it's so rarely hear his Chunglish nowadays so when heard his random English on one of the BTS. That - "I love ur dance Girl". I imagine that maybe we can hear it on this drama.
 

 

Actually MG already said an English word. It's STOP... LOL.... So, I don't know whose idea it was,  it's ChunNi's adlib or just coz Writernim is a ChunNi's fanboy, he use those English word for porpose. Thanks for that. N on this eps, we got some of random Chunglish. XD
 

 

N the HIGHLIGHT of this eps is THE WEDDING.  Though I already predict about the wedding scene  when watched the teaser. The feeling when really get it, it's so different.

 

N not to forget The Process before the Wedding.... I think on my KDrama Lovers era, I never watched something like that. I think only the propose part n just do it without imagine  how to do it. LOL
 

 

N the other one that SHOULD NOT to forget is MG's singing scene. I will put my theory before about that on this review n also for a new fans, ChunNi's real singing.
 

 

On this eps I also got my favs:  number 4 & 7 plus Purple. XD.... So, I felt this eps really2 a gift for me. LOL.. ...n coz of that,I really didn't refrain my self. Just screencap all the scenes that I like. So, at the end...it's really a lot. Double from the usual. The total is 77 pics. LOL... So, this review divided into 2 parts. Maybe on some pics, I don't need to write a lot coz the pic has already tell the story. XD... I just love their expression.

Park Yoo Chun creates wonderful memories with Japanese fans at fan meeting

JYJ Park Yoo Chun has only just wrapped up filming for his drama ‘The Girl Who Sees Smells,’ but he is definitely not getting a break just yet as he begin the first of many fan meetings with Japanese fans this past Sunday.
The fan meeting was held on May 24th at the Convention Center Grand Ball Room inside 63 Building in Seoul, as he met over 1,500 Japanese fans who had flown over to Korea from Japan.
Park Yoo Chun not only conversed freely with fans on the day, but also sang the OST from his drama ‘The Girl Who Sees Smells,’ and left the three hour long fan meeting progress smoothly without any boredom.
As the fan meeting neared its conclusion, Park Yoo Chun said, “I’m really grateful to my fans who have stood by me, and showed me lots of support. I will begin filming for my movie ‘Lucid Dream’ really soon, and I will work really hard to let everyone see the best side of me through the movie.”
Meanwhile, Park Yoo Chun will be holding his ‘Housewarming party: Epi 2′ fan meeting at Seoul’s Korea University Hwajeong Gymnasium on May 30th and 31st.
