Tony Hong mentions Jaejoong

JYJ3:

  • Jaejoong gave 1 million won in cash as a birthday present to Tony Hong
  • Tony Hong then yelled “충성!” which is an army salute; literal translation of “충성” is ‘Loyalty!”

Yuchun’s interview with Shin Se-kyung, for ‘TGWSS’

yochwennie:

  • YC: Actually if there is a feeling which I can eliminate, that would be sleepiness. I want to get rid of the feeling of fatigue.
  • YC: It’s always fluttering when filming romance scenes but the most fluttering was the scene where I waited in front of Chorim’s house
  • SSK: It’s really fluttering when filming kissing scenes.
  • The reporter asked how can Choi Mugak who has no feelings/senseless, feel anything during the kissing scene.
Yuchun said, “It’s instinct, it’s different from feelings.”
  • And he had to quickly recover from that by saying his heart is pure.
  • Among lover, my girl and girlfriend, Shin Sekyung chose to be called ‘my girl’ ^^
  • Yuchun thinks Chorim’s unkempt appearance is fine and he thinks it looks pretty good but Shin Sekyung thinks otherwise.

Jang Hyun Sung’s Kids Want Revenge Against Park Yoo Chun
Actor Jang Hyun Sung has revealed that his kids are learning taekwondo to teach Park Yoo Chun a lesson.
While discussing his kids on the May 6 broadcast of MBC’s “Radio Star,” Jang Hyun Sung revealed their intentions to fight Park Yoo Chun, saying, “I appeared in a drama with Park Yoo Chun called ‘Three Days’ a little while back. I didn’t show it to my kids at the time, but then they heard about it from their friends at school and asked to see it. So I showed them an episode with a scene where Park Yoo Chun shoots and kills me,” he explained.
“But when they saw it, they started screaming and yelling,” the actor continued. “They cried even though I was right next to them, and it was kind of cute. After that, they said they were going to beat up Park Yoo Chun and started learning taekwondo, and they’re still doing it now,” he said.

'The Girl Who Sees Smells' Park Yoo-chun, "Let's get it done quick"

2015/05/06
'The Girl Who Sees Smells' Park Yoo-chun became so sure that Nam Goong-min must have been the murderer.
On the 11th episode of SBS 'The Girl Who Sees Smells', Choi Moo-gak (Park Yoo-chun) declared war to Kwon Jae-hee (Nam Goong-min).
When Moo-gak encountered Jae-hee in Wonjoo, where Oh Jae-pyo (Jeong In-gi) resided, he thought hard and figured out Jae-hee had installed a spy app in his cellphone. Although Moo-gak let Jae-hee leave the spot quietly at the moment, he later called using his cellphone so Jae-hee could hear, and he declared war in that way.
He said, "Don't even dare to think you'd be able to find the witness. I'm not going to let you kill the witness. Choi Eun-seol, the one you killed in the Jeju hospital is my little sister. We have different ways to go and it will end only when one of us dies. Let's get it done quick".

Park Yoo Chun Wishes He Would Never Feel Sleepy

Park Yoo Chun Wishes He Would Never Feel Sleepy

Park Yoo Chun has received a lot of love with his character who lacks senses. Surprisingly, however, he recently said that losing sense of sleepiness would be his dream.
On the episode of SBS’s “Night of TV Entertainment,” Park Yoo Chun and Shin Se Kyung are interviewed for a “The Girl Who Sees Smells” special.
When asked, “Which sense would you like to lose the most,” he replies, “Feeling drowsy.”
Shin Se Kyung, too, agrees with his response, saying that she would no longer like to feel sleepy.
Meanwhile, a doctor gives expert opinions on Park Yoo Chun’s character’s lack of senses, saying, “He is shown to drink a hot cup of coffee at once, yet this is most likely to cause burning. Though it is possible for one sense to go numb, it is impossible for all of them to fully disappear at once.”

'The Girl Who Sees Smells' Park Yoo-chun begs Sin Se-kyeong to stay with him

'The Girl Who Sees Smells' Park Yoo-chun asked Sin Se-kyeong to stay with him.
On the May 7th episode of SBS' 'The Girl Who Sees Smells', Choi Moo-gak (Park Yoo-chun) told Oh Cho-rim (Sin Se-kyeong) how much he loved her.
Oh Cho-rim revealed to Choi Moo-gak, "I know I'm the witness. And I am aware my original name is Choi Eun-seol. As soon as I became aware that it was my original name, I should have realized something. But I realized it a little too late. I'm so sorry that your little sister had to die because I was the witness and my name was Choi Eun-seol". She cried in tears.
Choi Moo-gak said "It's not because of you. It's just that the bastard killed my sister. It has nothing to do with you". Oh Cho-rim said, "Even if that's true. It changes nothing. I can't do this".
At this, Choi Moo-gak said, "If that's the reason, I cannot let you leave. Don't think too much. I'm going to love you, you just take my love. Stay with me. Don't leave".

Chills, Thrills, and a Battle of Skills in “The Girl Who Sees Smells” Eps 11 and 12

Chills, Thrills, and a Battle of Skills in “The Girl Who Sees Smells” Eps 11 and 12

HUH?! That was, probably and unfortunately, my reaction half the time during this week’s airing of “The Girl Who Sees Smells.” The small smattering of plot and directing errors in previous episodes pretty much exploded into a chaotic mess this time and I even wondered, albeit briefly, just how much flaws one can (and should) handle for a drama that is otherwise a pure joy to watch.
That isn’t to say that there weren’t any exciting, suspenseful, and downright thrilling moments amongst all the things that went oh-so-horribly-wrong, because there was. I’m just saying that those errors I was once able to overlook is no longer quite so easy to ignore now… but in spite of that, the recent developments in “The Girl Who Sees Smells” is still pretty fun and entertaining… for the most part.

1. The Sense of Danger

TheGirlWhoSeesSmells11-12_Danger
One of the things I loved most about what occurred this week was that tension was aplenty! I felt so smug and satisfied watching Chef Kwon Jae Hee (Namgoong Min) lose his cool for the first time when our detective duo suddenly showed up at his house in search of Oh Jae Pyo (Jung In Gi). Although he was quick on his feet in terms of trying to stash away any potential evidence of his foul play, it was still gratifying to watch that brief moment of panic cross his face at the thought of getting caught red-handed.
I also loved how gutsy Choi Moo Gak (Park Yoochun) was in calling him out indirectly using the Spyapp. It was obvious that Chef Kwon was startled, but he should have expected it after their deliciously tense battle of wits on the bridge. Just thinking about that powerful scene still sends shivers down my spine!

2. The Sense of… Common Sense!

TheGirlWhoSeesSmells11-12_Sense
So often, in the climax of a drama, common sense is completely thrown out the window in favor of events that don’t quite make sense or with situations that gets haphazardly thrown together at the last minute. Although “The Girl Who Sees Smells” is guilty of that, at least it also remembered one very important aspect: Chef Kwon has Prosopagnosia. And Oh Cho Rim (Shin Se Kyung) knows it.
To be honest, I half expected for Cho Rim to forget about that fact and blurt her own identity out for the sake of convenience, so I shouted with glee when her mouth was clamped firmly shut of her own freewill. I also considered the notion that Cho Rim would keep that helpful information to herself, which only meant I was doubly ecstatic when she filled Moo Gak in about Chef Kwon’s disease.
What didn’t quite make sense to me was why Cho Rim was so expressionless and nonchalant when Lieutenant Yeom (Yoon Jin Seo) first told her about Chef Kwon being their prime suspect for the barcode murderer case. Having already been told that while remaining entirely unaffected, why, then, would Cho Rim get such a shock at seeing Kwon Jae Hee (in his own house, no less) that she faints? Furthermore, why didn’t Cho Rim recognize the house she was entering after having been there so many times?
… Just thinking about this is making my head spin.

3. The Sense of Painful Realizations

TheGirlWhoSeesSmells11-12_Realizations
I always mentally prepare myself for the abrupt change in personality, the flowing waterworks, the temper tantrums, and the shout of angry words to intentionally hurt someone when secrets get revealed, so I was pleasantly surprised when Oh Cho Rim remained perfectly consistent with her warm heart. She was calm and rational. She was understanding of the situation. She was more than accepting of her father’s love. All in all, I’d say she took the news pretty well and for that, I was glad!
Although I do find the former detective to be a little dim-witted in certain aspects. Perhaps his skills are a bit rusty from lack of use? If he had truly been fed information about the case from an insider and intentionally tracks Chef Kwon down, then how could Jae Pyo have so blindly trusted him by offering up his personal information, drinking his coffee, going to Jae Hee’s hose, and so forth without taking any precautions?

4. The Sense of Frustration

TheGirlWhoSeesSmells11-12_Frustration
Okay, Oh Cho Rim. I’m looking at you right now. How could you break our sweet Moo Gak’s heart like that? And so shortly after his birthday? Tsk tsk. This contrived breakup scene in “The Girl Who Sees Smells” definitely takes the cake in terms of lame and unreasonable. Whatever happened to communication? To figuring things out together? How about letting the boy eat his cake and the monstrous amount of food he cooked before kicking him out of the house?!
I was not a happy viewer, especially when it’s so clear to everyone, even Moo Gak, that Cho Rim has a ton of feelings for him. His persistence is admirable – and candy sweet to boot. “I’ll love. You just receive it.” Can anyone say “awww”?!

5. The Sense of Terror

TheGirlWhoSeesSmells11-12_Terror
Undoubtedly, Chef Kwon gives me the creeps. There were so many close calls between him and Cho Rim, it’s not even funny. It’s actually just plain addicting to feel that pump of adrenaline as my heart leaps to my throat each time she flirts with danger, especially when she was planting the camera in the library. What a nail biting experience just waiting with baited breath for everything to blow up in people’s faces!
Still, the pantyhose fix in the elevator was coincidentally lucky and Cho Rim’s suave excuse about script practicing was flawlessly smooth, but I can’t wait to see how she gets out of her current predicament. Will Moo Gak be able to rescue her in time again? Does this most recent face-to-face meeting mean that Jae Hee has figured out that Cho Rim is Choi Eun Seol? Or does he simply think that she’s working with the detectives and can no longer be trusted?

Wild Goose Chases and Tingly Senses in “The Girl Who Sees Smells” Eps 9 and 10

Wild Goose Chases and Tingly Senses in “The Girl Who Sees Smells” Eps 9 and 10

I admit it. I let out a cry of frustration as episode 10 of “The Girl Who Sees Smells” came to a close this week. What a cliffhanger! What a horrible, cruel, evil cliffhanger! As if having Oh Cho Rim (Shin Se Kyung) and Chef Kwon Jae Hee (Namgoong Min) growing closer week after week wasn’t already causing us an incredible amount of unease, now Cho Rim is getting tossed directly onto the path marked with a big, fat danger sign… with no Choi Moo Gak (Park Yoochun) in sight.

My mind is running wild with potential scenarios on how the ending scene is going to play out. While I’m anxious to find out, I’m also trying to calm myself down enough to make it through until episode 11. After all, I don’t think any serious harm is going to befall onto Cho Rim just yet since it would be way too early for Chef Kwon to bring out the big guns… if he has any.

1. The Sense of Defeat

SC_Review9-10_02

Chef Kwon continues to remain one step ahead of the Chain Murderer Team by playing his usual switch-a-roo game while seeking out his witness. Lucky for him, one of the identity switches was purely coincidental and it allows him to safely get away while steering the detectives towards another criminal.

Although I can’t help but wonder why none of the detectives had the sense, pun totally intended, to think that, maybe, their culprit would continue his pattern of sending someone else to do his dirty work, it was still pretty thrilling to see Chef Kwon momentarily losing his cool by genuinely trying to run away from Choi Moo Gak, who was hot on his heels.

2. The Sense of Fear

SC_Review9-10_01

My heart almost dropped in fear for Oh Jae Pyo (Jung In Gi) when Chef Kwon got to him before Lieutenant Yeom (Yoon Jin Seo) did. Half of me expected for Chef Kwon to grill into him immediately about Choi Eun Seol’s whereabouts, possibly even torturing or tormenting him to get the information, but the other half feared Chef Kwon’s sneaky games even more. Is he going to befriend Jae Pyo and then turn him into his next victim, just like Joo Ma Ri (Park Han Byul) and Chun Baek Gyung (Song Jong Ho)? How will he react when he finds out Oh Cho Rim is his “daughter”? Will he be able to connect the dots between her two identities?

But perhaps the most terror inducing moment was when Jae Hee catches Cho Rim with Doctor Chun’s letter in hand. For a brief moment, I thought Cho Rim would end up finding Chef Kwon’s souvenir books for his victims, but fortunately (or unfortunately?) that wasn’t the case. I think it was just an absentminded slip on his part to allow Cho Rim free access to his library with such concrete evidence out in the open. The moment in which that realization dawned on him was the moment I was afraid for Cho Rim…

3. The Sense of Fluttering Hearts

SC_Review9-10_04

As always, I love, love, love the relationship between Moo Gak and Cho Rim. They bicker, they make up, they horse around, and they get down to serious police business. It’s a great partnership and what makes them even better, both as individuals and as a pair, is that they are both quite prone to daydreaming about one other as seen in these two episodes. Double the humor, double the fun!

Still, I have to say that as much as I adore the romance, I wish they could have concentrated juuuust a little bit more on the investigation. The drama had a rather balanced mix of the mystery and the romantic in the beginning, but now that we’re slowly reaching the last leg of the case, I’m getting the impression that the abundance of the lovey-dovey is a cover up for losing traction on the suspense.

4. The Sense of Suspicion

SC_Review9-10_03

What gets to me in “The Girl Who Sees Smells” this week is that Moo Gak should have some semblance of a detective’s instinct, so why couldn’t he sense that something was off about Chef Kwon and his phone? He also looked at the tabletop quite a few times and if Jae Hee could see the reflection of the spyapp being downloaded, then why couldn’t Moo Gak? Every time he used the phone, I was so nervous that he would unintentionally give something away to Kwon Jae Hee or tip him off to the fact that he has become a suspect again.

I admire Moo Gak’s boldness for breaking into Jae Hee’s house, but honestly, as a police officer, what would he have done if Cho Rim hadn’t been there to lend a hand? I would love for Moo Gak to break the case and arrest Kwon Jae Hee with solid evidence, but breaking and entering is crossing the lines, even in my opinion.

If it was honestly for that reason that Lieutenant Yeom removed Moo Gak from the case, then I can understand, but a large part of me knows that her ulterior motive was to remove him as an obstacle now that she’s digging into Cho Rim. I’m curious to see how Moo Gak is going to get himself back into the investigative team.

5. The Sense of Returning Senses

SC_Review9-10_05

I’ve always wondered how Moo Gak can control the strength behind his actions when he can’t feel anything. How does he know he’s not expelling too much energy into kissing Cho Rim? How does he know he’s not crushing her fingers when he’s holding her hand? Why couldn’t he catch up to Chef Kwon when he can’t feel the burn in his lungs from running? (But if they had filmed it that way, then I would feel horrible for Yoochun!)

It’s more difficult than one would assume to 100% successfully pull off a man who had absolutely no senses, so I never thought too much about those kind of errors. At the same time, it made me wonder if it was even possible for Moo Gak to feel emotions such as the pain associated with thinking about his sister or the love that he feels for Cho Rim. Even the genuine concern he felt for the near accident that Cho Rim got into, is he simply going through the motions? Knowing he should be feeling a certain way, but not actually feeling it? How does losing all of one’s senses really work?

Regardless of these thoughts, I’m still glad that Moo Gak’s senses are slowly returning to him and it seems like Cho Rim is a big contributor of that. I hate imagining how strained their relationship might become and how much of a negative impact it might have on them both when Cho Rim’s real identity is unveiled and, along with it, her indirect involvement in the death of Moo Gak’s younger sister.

There are plenty of things to look forward to next week and I’m counting down the days until the next episode. While it has been a decent and exciting ride so far, I also feel that the editing done to the recent episodes have been rather off. This week, in particular, has been pretty choppy and it’s the little asinine errors like these, along with the illogical happenings (did any catch the mistake in the parking lot scene with Kwon Jae Hee and Oh Jae Pyo?), that makes “The Girl Who Sees Smells” not as amazing as it has the potential to be.

Just as I’ve been saying since the beginning though, I’m still perfectly willing to overlook those flaws in light of the unique plot, the great performances by the entire cast, the chemistry between our OTP, and to see justice being served.

SSK: “He is a very sincere person. He works very hard and creates a good atmosphere at the filming site. And just like me, both of us have a sunny personality.”

THEY WORK HARD FOR THEIR ROLES.

PYC: “It’s not easy to come up with the way of speech and emotions because this is something I’ve never experienced. Choi Mu Gak is complex and very challenging to portray. As a result, I’ve become very sensitive lately and spent a lot of time working on my role.”

SSK: “It was awkward at first, because I had to act like I could see the invisible particles before CG effects were added in. But now, I’m enjoying it. I had several discussions with the director on how to best portray the special ‘eye’, whether I should be very expressive or not overdo it.”

The Girl Who Sees Smells BTS (3)

THEY LOVE FOOD.

PYC: “Cooking programmes are really interesting. I never miss an episode of Refrigerator, Please and I’ve also finished watching Korean Food War. Unfortunately, I don’t cook (laughs).”

SSK: “I love to cook. I’d make bread and snacks to share them with my family, friends and colleagues, and I enjoy getting their feedback. These days, I’m very interested in food pairing, which is about finding the right combination of food and beverages.”

The Girl Who Sees Smells BTS (4)

THEY DON’T LET FAME GET TO THEIR HEAD.

PYC: “I’m not someone who seeks attention. What I wanted was just to live somewhere quietly. I can do any job. I’ve already done hard labour before, so I don’t think there’s anything I cannot do (laughs).”

SSK: “I’m not greedy about becoming famous, but I want to be an actress who thinks that it’s more important to become a good person. I always keep this four-character idiom in mind – ‘Too much is as bad as too little’.”

'The Girl Who Sees Smells' Park Yoo-chun begs Sin Se-kyeong to stay with him

photo591012.jpg

The production team for current airing SBS TV Wed-Thu drama ‘The Girl Who Sees Smells,’ has today released new photos of Choi Moo Gak (Park Yoo Chun) going on a sweet date with Oh Cho Rim (Shin Se Kyung).

In the photos, the two go on a date just like any other couples. Moo Gak picks out a hairpin for Cho Rim, and looks at her lovingly. Meanwhile, the two also ate ice cream, took a stroll in the park, and even rode a bicycle together, and it made for a refreshing sight.

The sudden rain saw Moo Gak whipping out the umbrella, while Cho Rim naturally wrapped her hands around the former’s waist. Although their actions seem to resemble any other couples out there, viewers who have been watching the drama all this while, will feel really emotional about this.

The upcoming episode of ‘The Girl Who Sees Smells’ will air on May 13th at 10PM (KST) through SBS TV.

‘The Girl Who Sees Smells’ Park Yoo-chun Shows Smile in BTS Stills

Park Yoo-chun was spotted during filming for ‘The Girl Who Sees Smells’.

The production team for SBS’s Wednesday-Thursday television series ‘The Girl Who Sees Smells’ released new BTS photos of Park Yoo-chun on May 14. The photos are said to have been taken during filming for a scene where Choi Moo-gak(played by Park Yoo-chun) went to a Chinese restaurant with Cho-rim in order to protect her from Jae-hee(played by Namgoong Min).

There are only three episodes remaining until the end of the drama. Park Yoo-chun confessed that he is putting all his last efforts for the successful completion of the drama. According to an insider, Park Yoo-chun is still full of passion; he is as dedicated as he first started filming.

Meanwhile, the previous 13th episode showed a tight, tense conflict between Moo-gak and Jae-hee. Moo-gak found a hidden camera at Jae-hee’s house, and Jae-hee grabbed him by the collar in anger. Moo-gak hit back at him by saying “You must kill me if you want to live”.

The 14th episode of ‘The Girl Who Seems Smells’ will air on Thursday, May 14 at 10 p.m. The battle of nerves between the two men is likely to continue.

19 Questions With Park Yoo Chun

He might have made his debut in a boy band, but these days, Park Yoo Chun seems to be getting more recognition as an actor than an idol. Since he shot to superstardom in the acting field in 2010 after the success of Sungkyunkwan Scandal, Yoo Chun has clinched at least one acting award every year—a testament to his acting chops.

After a critically-acclaimed performance in movie Haemoo, the actor has returned to the small screen through The Girl Who Sees Smells as Choi Mu Gak, a young man who lost the ability to smell, taste and feel pain following the brutal murder of his sister.

The 28-year-old JYJ member clues us in on the difficulties he faced acting in the drama and his instinct to make the people around him laugh.

Yoo Chun, you play a character who has no feelings or emotions. Is it difficult to portray the character?

It is very difficult; I have to act but I can’t express it through my facial expressions. There was a scene where I got hit and it hurt so much, but I had to pretend that it did not hurt. I could only show the pain after the director shouted ‘Cut!’ cos it was really painful.

How does it feel being the center of attention since young?

I am not someone who seeks unnecessary attention. To be honest, I would prefer to live a quiet and normal life.

Would you ever consider revealing your relationship to the public?

I would, but that is [only] if I was deeply in love with the girl. Also, I think she would have to be ready to be in the spotlight as well.

Why did you decide to become an actor?

I have always wanted to act since young. I think it is fascinating to live someone else’s life. I want to be an actor who is not just ‘fancy’ but with substance. A close friend of mine told me that when you continue acting, you will want to act more. I didn’t understand it back then but now I get it. I like that momentary, electrifying feeling you get when you act.

What type of shows do you normally watch? Do you have a preferred genre?

I am not that particular about the genres, but I am not a big fan of melodramas. Recently, I have been watching mainly action, thriller and science fiction [shows]. I like shows with unusual plots, like falling in love with aliens or a girl who sees smells. (Laughs)

What outdoor activities do you enjoy?

Fishing. The only place my dad brought me out when I was a kid was fishing. It is the biggest memory I have with my dad. That is why I always go fishing. Fishing starts with a bottle of soju. (Laughs) There are times when it is troublesome and boring, but just sitting there and spacing out is great for meditation. There are people who read when they want to think about something, but when I want to meditate, I fish.

Do you cook Maeuntang (spicy fish soup) with the fish you catch?

No one cooks for me and it won’t be delicious eating alone.

You seem like a good drinker. Which is your favourite alcohol?

I don’t have a preference. I do know a bit about Western alcohol but nothing beats drinking soju with radish kimchi. Just recently, I had a craving for soju, so I drank it with whatever I had at home – seaweed, chonggak kimchi (mini radish). It was really delicious. There are many types of nice and delicious alcohol but there’s really nothing like soju.

Do you go drinking with other senior actors?

I do, but it was scary. The way they drink is too amazing.

Why do you choose to go out drinking with your seniors?

We get to talk about more silly things. (Laughs) Those silly talks are about their life stories. Although I don’t meet them up or contact them very often, it feels great whenever I see them.

Seems like you get along better with older people…

I do enjoy spending time with older people. I have problem ‘breathing’ when I’m with young people in their early 20s. (Laughs)

Do you think you are a born-actor?

I could be born with it. (Laughs) I am just kidding. I read an article where a critic wrote that I was born with a stable tone of voice with clear enunciation. But I was never conscious about these when I act. Maybe because I find acting interesting and really enjoyable. I have done acting so far without much bad reviews. Not that I did well, but I do see some growth in me.

Do you go on holidays after the dramas or movies wrap up?

These days, when I travel, I like to just be still and not do anything. I go on trips without deciding on what to do there, and that is what I really want to do on a holiday.

According to a variety programme, your shoulders’ width is apparently 10cm wider than normal guys. Did you know about this?

Actually I knew about this since my debut. My fans were the ones who told me. At that time, I didn’t have many clothes and always wore the same thing over and over, so I have never thought about whether my shoulders are wide or narrow, whether my clothes are suitable. I do have an inferiority complex too: The bones of my jaw are less protruding than others. Because of that, whenever I gain just a little weight, my jaw lines immediately disappear. My jaw line is ‘directly linked’ to the amount of alcohol I drink. (Laughs)

Don’t you miss dancing? Since you don’t dance much lately…

Actually, I am not confident about dancing. I always try my best to catch-up with Junsu although I am not even half as good as him. I’ve since concluded that I should use the time to do something else instead. I love dancing though!

What is your favourite dance move then?

I would move my neck back and forth. I would put on a song by Michael Jackson and dance to it while driving.

You seem like someone who is always looking around, searching for things to joke about. Is this your instinct?

I was an introvert as a kid, without much self-confidence. My family wasn’t wealthy and there was always not enough of something. There’s nothing I could take out to show people. In contrast, my personality is the type who wants a lot of attention by telling jokes and making people laugh. This has become a part of my personality. Too much talking is bad, so there were times when I feel stressed, I would laugh it out.

Do you make people laugh during filming too?

Yes, but they are really harmless gags. I would just throw out jokes without thinking too much. When you do that, at least people will laugh right? Laughter bridges distance between people so it makes my work easier. I can’t tolerate awkward or strained atmosphere for long.

What is Park Yoo Chun going through right now?

I would say it is a period where I discover more about myself, where I learn to manage myself. I want to be someone of substance. A lot of new things will come my way and I want to know myself even more than before. In the past, I was afraid of admitting to things that I don’t know but now, I will. There’s so much more to learn in life.

The Girl Who Sees Smells premieres 6 May on ONE (Channels 513, 604, 514/605 (On Demand) on SingTel mio TV; Channels 124, 820 and 823 on Starhub TV) at 8.55pm, every Monday and Tuesday.

photo592741.jpg

On the 13th episode of SBS Wednesday & Thursday drama, Choi Moo-gak (Park Yoo-chun) found out about Kwon Jae-hee (Nam Goong-min)'s past history.

Choi Moo-gak reported, "Kwon Jae-hee dropped out of medical school at Harvard. He was an introverted student and it's known he worked part time jobs hard. He worked in a Japanese restaurant and showed talent in anesthesiology. He had a medical specialty aptitude test following the regular test schedule. After that, he submitted a voluntary withdrawal document".

Yeom-mi said, "The test result must have been Not Satisfactory, Then why did he become a chef though?" Choi Moo-gak replied, "Part of the job is to kill living things. Because of his desires to kill, he must have felt contradiction".

As the unexpected twist of chef Kwon Jae-hee's past history as a medical school student, the explanation on why and how he could leave the elaborate barcode on the victims' arms was revealed.
