South Korean TV channel SBS launched its new TV drama "Three Days" by hosting a star-studded press conference in Seoul, South Korea, 26 February 2014. The main cast members, including actresses Park Ha Sun and So Yi Hyun, actor Park Yoo Chun showed up in formal outfits to promote the action-thriller series. The two leading roles were perfectly matched from the drama to the press conference. In the drama, the President of South Korea, acted by Son Hyun Joo, goes missing after a gunfire during his holiday at a private villa. Elite agent Han Tae-kyung, acted by Park Yoo Chun, is ordered to lead the president`s bodyguards to find and escort him safely back within three days. The 16-episode drama is set to air on Wednesdays and Thursdays, beginning March 5, 2014.

Taking everything they earned from an auction, the JYJ members donated 50 million won to various facilities.

On March 3, C-JeS Entertainment stated, “In June, JYJ held the 2013 JYJ Membership Week, were 13 art pieces from the JYJ gallery were auctioned off. A total of 50 million won were earned during the auction and were donated to different welfare facilities as necessary goods.”

The facilities included institutions for children, the disabled, and the elderly.

“The JYJ Gallery was something that was created so we can have special memories with the fans. We’re glad that the artwork that we created went to the fans and the proceeds to those who need them most,” said JYJ. “With the auction proceeds and additional funds gathered up by the company staff, were able to donate needed goods and begin the year with a happy start.”

C-JeS Entertainment also added that Japanese fans donated to World Vision Japan to protect young children, and the donations will be used for another meaningful campaign.

Park Yoochun said a few words about his excitement for ‘Three Days’, two days ahead of its broadcast.

Before SBS’s new Wed-Thurs drama ‘Three Days’ airs on March 5th, Park Yoochun had said, “I’m glad I met ‘Three Days’. I have met various lives through dramas all these times but I think the job of a bodyguard is more special”.

Continuing he added, “A bodyguard does not hesitate to give his/her life for the President, that’s a rule for him/her. I’d like you to watch perfectionist Han Tae Kyung protect the President with fondness over the course [of the drama]”.

In the drama Park Yoochun will undertake [the role of] perfectionist Han Tae Kyung who’ll show a lot of actions, not sparing himself physically to protect the missing President from harm even with an incredulous message. The bodyguards in movies and dramas up to now are shown as people who upkeep their oaths but are level-headed and cold and not even concerned about their lives; [the drama] will spur women’s feelings with its authenticity. The expectations of female viewer have grown already over Park Yoochun painting what the true character of a bodyguard is.

With the first day of airing his drama coming close, JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun shared his thoughts on his drama role.

Park Yoo Chun will be transforming into an elite bodyguard and a perfectionist Han Tae Kyung on SBS’s new drama Three Days.

As he filmed the drama on March 3, Park Yoo Chun said, “I’m happy that I met Three Days. I got to live different lives through dramas, but life as a bodyguard is special. A guard does not hesitate to sacrifice his own life to protect someone else. Please stay tuned to see how perfectionist Han Tae Kyung will protect the president.”

C-JeS Entertainment also claimed, “Park Yoo Chun has been praised for his flexibility in pulling off various characters, from a prince to a hotel owner, across different genres. He will be engaging in high-level action scenes in Three Days as he tries to solve the mystery.”

Three Days will be airing the first episode on March 5 at 10 PM (KST).

JYJ’s Park Yoo Chun will be headlining upcoming SBS TV Wed-Thu drama ‘Three Days’ which premieres on March 5th, and the production team has today released photos of him at the film set where he is seen continuously holding onto his script and analysing it intently.

Before the actual filming, Park Yoo Chun is always rehearsing his lines while reading the script, as he tries his best to get into character. Even in between breaks during filming, Park Yoo Chun is still seen rehearsing his lines from the script.

The production company, Golden Thumb Pictures, said, “The filming schedules are really tight, so many of the cast members would take the opportunity in between breaks during filming to get in some sleep. But Park Yoo Chun is constantly reading his lines from the script, as he tries to stay in character. He has perfectly integrated himself into the role of presidential elite bodyguard, Han Tae Kyung.”

Son Hyun Joo is also an admirer of Park Yoo Chun and his passion. He recently said at the drama’s press conference, “I have heard that Park Yoo Chun is a really honest boy, and from my interactions with him, I find that his passion has far surpassed his honesty. Compared to just talk, he is more likely to take the initiative first. For example, he would be at the film set early, or prepare quicker than anyone else. Even if he’s uncomfortable, he doesn’t show it. He will definitely go far.”

‘Three Days’ sees the pairing of representative Korean serial drama writer Kim Eun Hee with director Shin Kyung Soo of ‘Tree of Deep Roots’ fame. The action drama took 1.5 years of planning, and has a big budget of 10 billion Korean won. With an impressive production team, excellent cast members, and a big budget, the drama is being highly anticipated by all quarters.
