Ive jus finished watching ep 3 with chinese sub over breakfast... Got to say... Itz... DAEBAK... AWESOME... ICHIBAN... 一级棒!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gil-Ro or shld I say Junnie bunny is really coooooolllllll in the last scenes at the gambling table!!!! For one moment I tot I was looking at Kang-to I cant wat to see ep 4 :x sooo exciting

I do really pray tat the scriptwriter will continue to give us good surprises along the way... More depth in the story and the characters. Right now, Im starting to like Gil-Ro more as compared to the first 2 eps where my heart is left hanging in the air and the premonition of this drama will end up a flop even with our darling Junnie delivers his best. However aft watching ep 3, I can now say my heart is back where it belongs and I feel tat Im standing safely back on solid grounds instead of at the edge of a steep cliff. U get wat I mean?

  Teaser images have been released for tonight’s episode of “Level 7 Civil Servant”, where the new secret service recruits will attend a banquet together.

  Tonight (30th January), the 3rd episode of the series will be broadcast, featuring the new recruits continuing training in a formal banquet setting, learning the art of Hwatu (Korean card game), mah-jong, stealing keys, ballroom dancing and so on. In the released photographs, the entire cast are dressed to the nines and it appears that Choi Kang Hee, Joo Won, Hwang Chan Sung, Kim Min Seo and other cast members will get the opportunity to show off their dancing talents.

  So as to form a sense of reality in the setting, the cast was taught how to play cards and dance by professionals. Chansung already has some experience as a ballroom dancer, having been awarded first place in a competition previously. In the photographs he shows a fine dancing posture, leaving fans eager to see him on the dance floor in tonight’s episode.

  In addition, this scene will provide an important development in the love lines between Gil Ro (Joo Won) and Seo Won (Choi Kang Hee) as Gil Ro jealously watches her every move.

  A member of the production team revealed, “The enemy couple Seo Won and Gil Ro has been receiving a lot of love from viewers and the two will be an interesting watch in this scene. Last night, I felt so overwhelmed by relief. Relief that I finally connected with the drama or rather the characters. And for the first time, I sat gripped in my chair during that last part 10 mins of the show, something I never thought possible. 
Things moved much faster than I expected and there were so many goodies, some of which I had anticipated from the teasers, that I was left wondering - what now? 
The editing was still choppy. I hated the part where the ballroom dancing was abruptly cut. Maybe I found it Joo Won so mesmerising in it that I didn't want it to end. The story unfolded quickly, in fact the ground is already set for Gilro's expulsion and heartbreak. I also had some trouble with thespeed at which Gilro's attraction to Seo Won took off. That study scene where she flicked her fringe with her pen was shown again, this time with a similar act. I can only put it down to some weird fetish of Gilro concerning woman with pen. I think a large part of Gilro's jealously was more because he did not want to be outdone by Do Ha who is better than him in many ways and it's obvious that Seo Won admires Do Ha while she looks at Gilro with disdain and contempt. I found it acceptable only when Gilro eavesdropped on Seo Won's phone conversation with her parents and discovered her real situation. I think right at the beginning, Gilro had a slightly more favorable opinion of Seo Won at the matchmaking date compared to the other girls. It only turned for the worse when they misunderstood each other and he thought she just wanted to get married to a rich man. For all the spoilt brat that Gilro is, when it comes to living his life, he has very clear idea and goal of what he wants. He is not interested in inheriting his father's wealth. And I think he likes a woman who is courageous, independent and lives on her own terms. This will explain why his attraction starts now moving from that initial physical attraction(as they want us to believe!) and the petty jealousy. If I was Seo Won, Gilro would already have me looking so suave and dashing in that ballroom training. Of course, our heroine is not that shallow(I still don't get it, neva mind) to be moved by such sheer physical awesomeness. But I can see that she is going to have a different opinion of Gilro after his heroic act at the casino table. This is the start for her, to see him as something more than a rich kid who has no empathy for the less fortunate and who thinks only for himself. 
I love the acting from the 3 leads tonight. First, Chansung. Oh Chansung, I think my heart will ache for you. I was impressed in the first 2 episodes and number 3 was even more impressive. When he is obviously happy and smiling besides CKH, he looks too young to make this pairing believable. But he played very well the part of a guy with a crush on his girl. It s obvious his whole face lights up when he is with her and he is just so happy to impress her and make her laugh. His awkwardness during the ballroom dancing was also funny to watch. What I most impressed with Chansung so far is that he has shown control in his acting. Now, it just remains to be seen if he can deliver the right touch when it comes to emotional scenes. 
I delve more into Choi Kang Hee after Joo Won said he chose her. Previously I had only seen her in short clips of Protect the Boss. I think she looked pretty fine in Petty Romance, a 2010 movie. I realised it's this stupid current hairstyle that is absolutely unflattering on her. Although she was younger in My Sweet Seoul, she looked as bad in there because of that terrible perm. If only they had kept her hair longer, she would look more credible. I think her dancing in this episode was pretty funny, thank goodness she didn't go overboard. I haven't gotten into her comedic acting yet especially when she widens her eyes too often(I wanted to hit the director for the silly exchange in looks between Do Ha and Seo Won in the ballroom)  but I think I am right that although she is known to be a great comedy actress, she can do serious scenes better, IMO. She had me at the scene where she lost her entire paycheck and realised she couldn't get it back. It's the first time I felt genuinely sorry for Seo Won. 
As much as I enjoy Joo Won's silliness in this drama, I honestly missed the intensity and the sexiness he exuded in Gaksital(Bridal Mask). In between 7LCS, I rewatched all my favorite cuts of Gaksital and missed Lee Kangto terribly. The first half of episode 3 was still very much on the goofiness of Gilro but the scenes where he competed with Do Ha and that lovely bare hands-gun fight scene was just awesome. When Joo Won turns on his namja charm, I dont know how many are left standing. And the change in his eyes after he discovered Seo Won's real situation and her motivations, was just classic Joo Won. But the scene that took the cake? The one where Gilro went to the gambling table to stake it all for Seo Won. In fact for me, it started even before that, from the moment Gilro opened the ballroom door and ran after Seo Won. 
So our couple has started their journey of discovering each other and I hope that the drama will not only make it sweet but also credible. Rough times ahead for Han Gilro, happening as quickly as today's episode. Let's see how our hero is going to deal with falling in love and having his life long dream cruelly smashed at the same time and how our heroine is going to stand by her man and get him through the mess.
