lapdock vs. iPhone 4s

I currently have an iPhone 4s and Droid Bionic. I found it inconvenient that I can't tether for free in the iPhone 4s-which I'm currently using.

Therefore, I am planning on using my Droid Bionic b/c:

1. 4G- faster speed.

2. I can tether for free

3. You can use a lapdock if you buy one.

I can sell my iPhone to verizon for $282 and buy the lapdock, but I'm wondering if the lapdock is really worth it.

It has a firefox browser so I can watch my dramas there (my current small laptop has a broken LCD so the liquid is covering my screen like bubbles everywhere) and other stuff online.

I'm also wondering if I should keep my iPhone since it's a global phone and I can use it if I travel overseas.
