Shin Da Eun cast as Ahn Jae-wook's sister in MBC's "Lights and Shadows"

Actress Sin Da-eun is attempting her first period drama.

Sin Da-eun has been cast as Kang Myeong-hee, sister to Kang Ki-tae (Ahn Jae-wook) in the MBC 50th anniversary special drama "Lights and Shadows".

She is a character who has all of her father's love and looks vain due to her affluent life. However, on the inside she is down-to-earth and has a strong cold sense of power to love with a good taste in fashion.

Sin Da-eun has recently been in the KBS 2TV drama specials, "Drama Special - Identical Criminals" and "Drama Special - Lethal Move", gaining good reports on her acting. Fans are looking forward to her first historical drama since her debut.

Following the end of "Gyebaek", "Lights and Shadows" will be shown in November. This drama deals with all the major events that happened in Korean history including the Vietnam War, 5.16 and the 10.26, retracing the modern history of Korea from the 1960's until now through a man's life as an entertainer in show biz.
