강신영[윤정희] 박순자의 딸.

Pak Sun-Ja (Pak Worn-Suk)

Kang Sin-Yong’s mother, a housewife living under the shadow of the patriarch husband, she brought up her children with heart while enduring her husband’s behaviour. She also takes care of her captious mother-in-law with deep sincerity. She is the kind of women, even at her 50’s, she will still squeeze the toothpaste and prepare basin of water for her husband’s daily cleaning.

Kang Sin-Yong (Yun Jung-Hee)

Pak Sun-Ja’s daughter. Although her husband is a politician, she still has to help this unresourceful husband to draft speech manuscript. Besides, she also go everywhere to help him bring up his reputation, fight against the journalist to block any trifling amorous affair. To keep her husband’s warm and kindness image, she eventually chooses the show window’s life.

Kang Dong-Pung (Yun Su-Sang)

Kang Sin-Yong’s father and Pak Sun-Ja’s husband. He is the eldest of his other 4 siblings and a man having the habit of holding the patriarch status and authority of the family. Because he was brought up by his parent with deep love, he tends to be opinionated and command others for anything he wants them to do. He will get very frustrated if things don’t meet his expectation. He lives his life as the head of the family.

Kang Do-Yong (Sor Dong-Worn)

Kang Sin-Yong’s elder brother and Pak Sun-Ja’s son. He is a man with no ability, a trouble maker and also a boaster. He plays the role of comedy. He madly courts a lady he meets in the nightclub and lies to her that he is rich man living in Southern district. Both get marry consequently.

Kim Mi-So (Huang Bo-La)

Kang Do-Yong’s wife and Kang Dong-Pung’s daughter-in-law. Her parent were both divorced and re-married when she was a kid. She lives with her nanny since then, that is why she has very little idea about family’s duty and concept. She spends her parent’s money without consideration and never feels any pressure in her finance. She is a person of extravagant and luxury.

Kang Sor-Pung (Im Ye-Jin)

Kang Dong-Pung’s younger sister and Pak Sun-Ja’s sister-in-law. In the traditional market, although she looks frail but she is shrewish and a very capable middle age woman. She may be naïve, amusing and rude in her words, but she stands much firm for righteous than anybody.

Sin Dal-Leh ( Kang Min Kyung )

So Bok-Hee's daughter. A top actress. Since young, she was pushed into the TV industry by her mother. She is shy and introverted. She hates to be in the limelight but ever since she saw her mother fight with her father over money and even tried to kill herself, she just put her life into her mother's hands.

Sin Mor-Lu (Lee Jeh-Huang)

Kang Sin-Yong’s husband and So Bok-Hee’s eldest son. He is a playboy with irresolute character, always concern on his outlook. Because he was brought up under the cover by a very capable mother, he behaves like a young boy. Although his affectionate character and handsome outlook has attracted many girls, he will in fact never pay any responsibility to them and also very childish and inferior.

Huang Bo-Mi (Go En-Mi)

Sin Mor-Lu’s first love. After she got lost with her adopted mother in the market when she was a child, she grown up as an orphan. She met Mor-Lu during their high school and both fell in love and this first love eventually became a major issue in their lives.

Sin Gi-Bong (Kim Yong-Gorn)

Husband of So Bok-Hee and father of Sin Mor-Lu, Sin Dal-Leh, Sin So-La. Came from a rich family, never experience hardship, but has to live under wife’s tyranny after bankruptcy.

In order to make the daughter become an actress, his wife is never at home and that makes he feels so lonely. He has a daughter with other woman due to a moment of impulse.

She is a staunch career lady, brought up her two children alone after her husband abandon them and later became a lecturer of university. Her friendship with So Bok-Hee is deeply close. She felt very sorrow and humiliated since after her beloved husband forsaken her and then after she lives with a distorted life.

Beh Yorn-Wu (Kang Jin-Wu)

Journalist of a press’s social division. Yun Min-Ju’s son. He is cynical and also picky in everything. He feels the blood in his body is dirty because his father had forsaken the family and married another woman. He has no intention of getting married as he does not want to pass this dirty blood down to other generation. He is also very obstinate and perseveres in his work.

Beh Yorn-Sor (Yor Min-Ju)

Yun Min-Ju’s daughter and Beh Yorn-Wu’s younger sister. She dislikes her mother and always revolt against her, contradict and create conflicts for her. Whenever her brother is cold to her mother, she will find fault and make her uneasy.

Lee Kang-So (Sor Jun-Yorng)

A disciple to Yun Min-Ju and both are in love. He falls deeply in love with his lecturer when he works as a lecturer assistant for Yun Min-Ju.
