Guest pure.sophiestication
what about covering it up? but I really think you might be able to just get away with it. My sh9010c was sent from australia with the battery and it came without any issue lol when was that? i think they only started really really cracking down this year. cant u just leave it in the phone? if anything happens just say u were in a rush a forgot to take it out? the last time i sent it (last year), they made me detach the batteries. i guess i could. the worst thing that would probably happen is a warning? but sydney's customs xray thingies are really freaky i just researched some stuff, and they only fine repeat offenders i think. so i guess that means i'll have to leave out some details to the P.O lady... aw614
I bought the sh9010c in fall 2009 so about 2 months ago what if you say its an iphone? i mean an iphone you cant remove the battery, or if they ask, the battery has been discharged completely flat? but you could say its school text books hehe
Guest peppermintsugar
Sigh, so apparently the person I bought the phone from doesn't have the security code because they never even used the phone, so they have to contact the person that THEY bought it from to try and get the code, and if they don't. . .I don't know what to do other than just try and guess millions of possible combination's. The phone is useless to me this way, I can't exactly get to a DoCoMo carrier to have it reset, and I can't sell it. . .I'd feel too awful trying to sell it to anyone else. Uhg. Why does this have to be so difficult for me!? Anyways, onto Ebay: White, DoCoMo SH-03a w/HyperSIM Gold, DoCoMo SH-01B Not much. Gonna go cry about my poor phone some more. Guest ahhhdillon
sadly you may have to do a master reset =[ i think you have to go to a docomo person for that too. that guy should give you a refund

He can't really give a refund, he never used the phone himself he says. I've just guessed random combinations at this point. I'd like to make a list of all of them and just do it that way, bit making the list alone would take forever ;--;
aw614
guess you can just write down where you stop at, so when you resume you know where to start off. another ebay deal just found http://cgi.ebay.com/Docomo-NEC-N905i-cellp...=item3359d90ea6 100 dollars for n905i, good deal for it, solid and reliable and has english t9 input. Guest ChouChou
WOW. I saw this beauty and I thought I'd post pictures of it! Sharp SoftBank 940SH, came out in December. The best thing about this one is it has WIFI! Finally a Japanese phone we can surf the net on. Also, a 12 megapixel camera. Personally, I love it! http://i48.tinypic.com/2hi9hr6.jpg http://i49.tinypic.com/w2lz0w.jpg http://i46.tinypic.com/358uvf7.jpg http://i49.tinypic.com/fycs1x.jpg http://i48.tinypic.com/i2svna.jpg http://i46.tinypic.com/4jocm.jpg http://i50.tinypic.com/148j1it.jpg (Sorry for the large pictures) i'm a total noob when it comes to japanese phones, i didn't really know about them until i stumbled across this thread! well, i knew of them, like the style etc but never really fully researched them etc but after looking at that phone; Sharp SoftBank 940SH i think i'm in love... it's such a cute and sexy phone i MUST have it!!! i looked on ebay and i found one for over USD700....you've got to be kidding x_x where can i get this phone??? do they sell em in the uk? HK???
aw614
they sell them in HK in sintat you will however have to deal with the softbank multimedia unlock, which is a pain and have to watch out over and not relock it
Guest ChouChou
^ i'm not very good with all this technical stuff...whats "multimedia unlock"? and what happens if it relocks??
Guest peppermintsugar
^ i'm not very good with all this technical stuff...whats "multimedia unlock"? and what happens if it relocks?? I believe it allows the use of MMS and Wifi, if you relock it, then you can no longer use those functions.
aw614
multimedia unlock http://www.howardforums.com/showpost.php?p...;postcount=1064 might be described in there but for 923sh and up softbanks, phone is tied to sim card, and hypersim, may have cpr issues, cant let battery drain or it will relock. can you read chinese or ok with google translated sites? worth checking out mobile01 and ringhk forums for good info too http://board.phonehk.com/viewthread.php?ti...;extra=page%3D1

aw614
you can probably add tap to the end of the sim to aid it when pulling it out
Guest peppermintsugar
I thought it would be simple to figure out, but I can't seem to, so now I'm asking :[ What folder/where do I have to put pictures on my micro SD in order to get them onto the phone? Every time I try to import, my phone can't find them, since I don't know which folder they should go into. There's a DOCOMO and a SHARP folder, and various others inside of those :[
