And yeah, I wouldn't name my kid anything embarrassing or hard to pronounce.

Really common name are also a no-no. I particularly dislike Marie/Mary/Maria since most of my relatives (and my middle name!) has it.

Male: Michael, Kevin, Joe, Bob, William, Bill, Peter, Russel, Marcus, Ben, Ned, Jeff, Richard, etc. etc.

Female: something corny like Grace or Hope, common ones like Jessica, Ana, Amanda, Tracy, Patricia, Jane, Nanette, or Lunette... the clown!
