or since the WBC was on, that could cause the stream to not work temporarily

actually i realized that logging isn't enabled by default but it is usually located in the vlc folder as vlc-log.txt

i suggest you try the other suggestions first then come back to vlc

Some days back , i was viewing ( MBC )mms://124.217.205.248/tv_live

fine via VLC

However, today..hard luck...nothing works for me.

I am totally clueless what's happening but i know i sure gonna miss a lot of goodies line-up for today

have you tried one of the alternative mbc links?

they were broadcasting the world baseball classic today and most likely wouldn't have turned on their online stream for it.

the other links should be fine since they tend to not follow main mbc jurisdictions

It's paradoxical but i think your version of vlc is too recent.

I had the same problem before and surprisingly, downgrading to 0.8.5 fixed it. You may have to desinstall the VLC 9.8

You can also try other version but i know that it worked for this version.

About MBC: the official link doesn't work anymore

They probably changed the ID.

Use mms://124.217.205.248/tv_live instead.

Be careful of spaces while pasting the link.
