Do you know about joining as a member and the clubhouse function? My friend say some of them have it?

It is kind of sad to hear that our girls not that popular in China? But they do go there often! And they won awards in China right for the most music download or something?

Finally a fancam from Dalian International Fashion Festival. Please can someone tell me if they're Lip-synching or not? If they're lip synching, i think i will be shocked cuz i know WonderGirls are professionals! On the other hand, if they're NOT then WOW the girls' voices are so flawless and the sound system is :wub:

They're lip-syncing...And for some reason Sunmi's voice did play on the second verse LOL...

I have no idea why they would lip-sync though, oh well~

Although i think this is like the second time i've ever witnessed them lip-sync at a major event, so it doesnt really affect me since they ALWAYS sing live anyway.

^ maybe the organisers told them to... idk what about the other artists were they also lip syncing which would probably explain this. But pardon me if I'm incorrect isn't lip syncing in China illegal?

On another note I like YeEun's hair colour. Dayum this girl can pull of any hair colour.

They are lipsynching because they have no time for rehearsals. The rehearsal was on 2 Sep but WG only arrive on 3 Sep so they have no time for rehearsal and given it is a major fashion event broadcasted 'live', the organisers did not want any accident to happen.

They rushed from the press conference to the fashion festival venue. The press conference lasted till 7pm and their performance was at 9pm.

I didn't join any of the WG Baidu Bar clubs but I think only WG Baidu bar, Sunye Baidu Bar, Sohee Baidu Bar has it. Yeeun Baidu Bar has Yenny Heart which is a separate forum but maybe it acts like a club.

The Club is locked but I heard it is more towards casual chatting and for revealing of WFs more personal stuff e.g. when they organising event, they share their contact details there. You need to apply to join. My friend who joined the Club said it was very active when it started out and some of the older fans like to go there because it is less messy as compared to the Baidu Bar. But now the WG Baidu Bar is considered very quiet as compared to the past so I think they come back to Baidu Bar. Sometimes they will organise fan events there but when discussing about projects, they will also do it there.

It is a public Club so you can actually view everything without joining. I don't know what is the difference between their Club and their Bar because it looks the same kind of posts.

The Club is locked and you can apply but most of the members are by invitation only. I heard that they have two clubs so I am not sure if this is the one my friend refering to. Sunye Baidu use it for more sensitive topics (e.g. coupling) or rumours. The rumours (e.g. Sunye taking part in Dream High OST, WG taking part in special olympics) are usually when they heard it from someone but those rumours that has a website link, they will just post at the Bar. They also have some contacts with the media and they did request for the media to not ask certain questions / to amend their questions when WG went to China. For e.g. when WG went to China in Aug 2010, the reporters' list of questions included "How did you spent your last moments with your dad? (to Sunye)" and "Have you considered getting plastic surgery because your looks are said to be not fitting into the team? (to Lim)" which they think was not appropriate. Some reporters just want to get sensational news.

Yenny Heart.

It is a normal BBS style site and is active when WG goes to China and they have fan accounts / fancams of Yeeun. When WG comes to China, they will usually prepare some gifts for Yeeun. They have one person who does a lot of the translations and cartoon images of Yeeun but I think they are slowly shifting away from Baidu Bar and towards Yenny Heart because they don't update Baidu Bar as often as Yenny Heart.

You can go to this Bar call 路过的一只 Bar to determine how popular a group is. WG-related thread is always not popular. The only popular ones are their Flooding thread (it is just flooded by WFs so it has nothing inside just to flood it and make it on the top page), I know WG, Sunye, Sohee and Sunmi has a popular flooding thread. Other topics about WG don't get much attention except for 2 topics - one is about Sunye kind acts and another one is about Sohee fashion (but this one is a bit like flooding thread).

It seems like the event at Shenzhen has not been finalised yet even though WG's official cafe has stated they were to attend.

The JYPE official weibo replied to a fan saying that once it is confirmed they will announce.

@sibilance yes as far as i know China is the only country in the world to ban lip syncing. I am clueless though on what is/are the laws there regarding that. And if am not mistaken, South Korea also bans their Korean artists from lip syncing on foreign stage. There are fines and stuff like that. I don't know about domestically though..it wouldn't make any sense to NOT fine their artists domestically don't you think? :ph34r:
