A few weibo tweets said the female deejays played 'Nobody' as the opening song of Chloe's after-event party.

Here's a photo; the uploader claimed WG was there but I can't find any confirmation.

(Someone else said the song was part of the fashion runway's soundtrack too. I did not watch the webcast.)

WG flew out earlier today, presumably back to Korea.

There are many listed flights at the airport website.

The photo below was tweeted at 11am &, given their preference for Korean airlines, I think they took the Asiana one at noon.

The Sunmijianger who posted them prefaced by telling those who don't like it to skip the thread. The tactic itself is common there & the mods won't delete.

Yeah, there are still dissenters there (the Sunmi birthday thread has 19K spammed posts) although the boycotting is way, way old.

Narrator (paraphrased): WG took time from their US album preparations to attend a Shanghai fashion event along with other celebrities [skipped naming them]. Their retro songs like Tell Me, Nobody are very popular. What do they have in store for their new album this year?

Translator (for Yeeun): "We are currently readying our album in America. The musical style will be a bit similar to 'Nobody', 'Tell Me'. We want to continue that trend. Since our songs tend to be '60s-, '70s-, '80s-era retro, we will incorporate modern elements for a more updated sound. We also want to make an enjoyable album for all."

Narrator (paraphrased): WG recently tweeted sexier, more-mature photos from the USA, which were well received by the fans. But the girls turned bashful when it is brought up...

lol I also saw some envious comments in AIIKPOP some were saying that the girls spend their time going to fashion shows than releasing new music but so many people in AIIKPOP loved the girl looks they said like Greek goddess ...

but this time I believe JYP did not make the girls travel all the way to Shanghai and stop their new album preparation just b/c they were invited , I do believe that JYP knows that Chloe is by far one of the top fashion houses in Paris and in the world , so maybe he saw it as the best way to create new connection and to expand the girls network to Europe also the girls said they are planning to visit Europe this year

edit I went to nate and I couldnt find one article about the girls attending chloe fashion show which I find it very werid most of the article about girls today is them appearing in middle text books

Reggae scratch.lol I'm really confident about this. I'm pretty sure that even if the direction they're going for is still retro, it's going to be something fresh and new. With new beats and style! Like Claude said and i quote "I want it to be edgy, fun and catchy and danceable. So that people of all ages and all ethnicity can sing along to it. That's my goal and i'm probably not gonna rest until i get it done that way. It's gonna be a hit! ".

honestly I cant see the girls doing reggae and I hope they wont ...I was hoping that they will try a new concept but its okay whats important is for them to release a song that will attract everyone and I believe JYP made a great choice by choosing Claude as (I believe )the main producer of the album b/c he is an amazing producer who is known for working and producing music to artist who comes from different music background ,so to me the best thing about Claude that he is versatile so I believe he will produce music that will fit wonder girls style

The Chloe fashion house if from France, right? Wonder if WG has just successfully networked themselves into Europe.

I did not know about Chloé and your heads up took me by surprise.

So I went straight to check on Wikipedia. Chloé is a Parisian fashion brand, now part of Compagnie Financière Richemont S.A., a Swiss holding of luxury brands (having many renowned watches, jewels, and fashion companies in their portfolio - Montblanc, IWC, Dunhill, Shanghai Tang...). These folks are ranked on Wikipedia as the third largest luxury brand in the world.

Maybe Chloe is not the first Wonder Girls European connection. I must use the conditional because all I have to offer is a web article, which appeared out of the blue in Italy's Dolce & Gabbana webzine - but to be true it was not followed by other activities.

That article was published back in 2009, when Nobody was sold in the States through Justice and the girls just had their first appeareances in NYC fashion week, probably popping on the fashion circuit radars. AFAIK this is the first Wonder Girls citation in Europe by a corporate entity.

But there were still dozens of fans waiting loyally for their idols. The 5 girls were wearing dark shades & carrying designer handbags, turning the airport into a fashion set. The organizer also mobilized many bodyguards to serve as escorts, 3 of whom are foreigners. The extravagrance was no less inferior than for any international superstar.

WONDERGIRLS (WG) arrived in Shanghai a couple of nights ago. Due to a flight delay, they landed only after 10pm, yet there were still dozens of fans waiting at the airport. The girls were wearing dark glasses & carrying designer handbags while leaving the restricted area. Among then, Yoobin had shorter hair & looked more puffy as a result. But she remained friendly in waving to the fans. The organizer had mobilized many bodyguards to serve as escorts, 3 of whom are foreigners. Meanwhile in Korea, a social studies textbook featured WG photos in teaching about Korean popular culture.

Yesterday, RAIN also won a Supreme Court ruling over a lawsuit involving his abbreviated world tour. Indications are he will report for enlistment this summer.
