Plot:
Joon-sang moves to a rural city in South Korea. On one day, Joon-sang soon falls in love with Yu-jin. Their love is cut short when Joon-sang loses his memory after a serious auto-accident. Joon-sang's mother has Joon-sang brainwashed so he will not remember his painful memories. As a result, Joon-sang's memories prior to the accident are erased. Joon-sang's mother decides to move to the United States with Joon-sang. Both his friends and teachers are told that Joon-sang is dead.

Ten years later, Joon-sang returns to Korea and Yu-jin sees him on the street, prompting her to put off her engagement to childhood friend Sang-hyuk. Little does she know that Joon-sang is dating her friend and sometime rival Chelin. The story's plot intensifies when Yu-jin begins work at the firm where Joon-sang is employed, and tries to find out if he is her lost lover Joon-sang.

Hmmm... is this going to be produced by a Japanese anime industry or a Korean one?

If there is one, I'd like to check it out.

^WOW nice find. i want to watch the anime version cos i got halfway through the original but it was too draggy. animation looks nice, hopefully if it does come out, some1 will fansub it :D

Nobody here who liked Winter Sonata? :tears: It's like the best tear jerking Kdrama ever;P

I remembered watching that when I was young, and as for the anime, Bae's anime figure looked good<3

The trailer looks pretty interesting too;D I hope this anime will get much love from Japan and such when it's released;*

Funny thing is that I've known about the K-Drama for awhile now, but never seen it yet. One of these days, I shall have a drama marathon.

^ The first episode will air this weekend on Saturday (10/17). Can't wait.

According to ZakZak news, the production of the upcoming anime Winter Sonata has been delaying. Although the first episode will be aired on October 17th, the producers have completed only three episodes. ZakZak reported there should be at least five episodes completed before the airing of an anime.

An anonymous staff disclosed to ZakZak that a change of the director last June and the interference of the main actor Bae Yong Joon in the anime production have been a great burden for the staff.

The production committee of Winter Sonata admitted that they have changed the director and there are only three completed episodes, but denied the delay in the schedule and Bae's interferences.
