And it just a concert, usually we will wear most comfortable outfit if we going to see a concert, with a friend, just a friend. My last week pray (for ep 9) after watched preview ep 9 that full of TK and those cina trip finally happened was simple, i wanna see at least a bit of JH and DS together in one scene (bickering or romantic one doesnt matter for me, their simple scene always give a big satisfaction to myself). then, i got i want in the ep 9, i got see stalker scene, kkalbi jib eating scene and concert date scene.

And then, same with most of you, my pray for this week is give me kiss scene please!!!

Like  @MrsSoJiSubsaid by this time in Reply 94 najeong already kissed by chilbong two times and in reply 97 Yoonjae did confirmation kiss to shiwon. But now? we like waiting forever just to see DS feeling. Now we know DS feeling must we waiting another long time to get a kiss scene? waiting waiting and waiting. Cant our wish comes true this week? *pray*

I like both of ideas. Just let JH get DS first kiss (dont let TK stole it first please). As much as i want JH initiate that kiss, but this time i want DS who makes the 1st move (because she already know JH feeling but JH doesnt get any idea that she has feeling for him, so this kiss will speak more about DS feel to him). yeah same with you think. Just a simple peck on the cheek (let we see shy and blank face on JH when she did it) then BAM, JH give a simple kiss on her lips as a reply from those peck. (aigooooo what a perv,but i want it!!!!) @einYoshiChan agree with you that all JH and DS scene, we always see from JH view. We never see it from DS perspective, we never know what inside his head after those multiple scene with him and we never see the aftermath too. We just see the aftermath after alley scene (DS sleep so soundly), how about bus scene?waiting in the rain until past midnight?squash cheek scene?etc, we never see the aftermath. Many of you already mention about it. So we really need to see many flashback to explain all those scene. better they get it faster......

Same with you,,,,i  really love JH body proportion too. Tall and not too thin not too fat...Yeah my ideal guy always has figure like him, maybe thats one tiny factor that makes me fall for him so fast in the speed of light. So i'd say that even before Deok Sun had the confirmation later that night, there's already "something" or a percentage that he sees Jung Hwan as someone more than just a friend. 

There were speculation that Deok Sun only got bashful on the phone call with Man Ok because she already realized that Jung Hwan liked her. But we could see here that she's not 0% uninterested in Jung Hwan in terms of her answer here.

agree with you. That scene was one of my favorite in ep 10 beside JH and DS moment. I really love this teenager girl conversations. We can see the truth when DS around them. When DS asked what if he really like her? and man ok answered why you asked us?asked you heart, do you like him?. That i dont know answer from DS like a proof that for this time she also have a slight interest with JH.After all the things that JH did to her,it almost impossible if she didnt think about him or have something different feel for him (she is girl after all, but she still looking for the answer why he did all those thing to her). Yes, from the phone conversation too we coud see that she isnt not 0% uninterested with JH.

Anyone else loves his facial expressions here? I repeated this scene so many times, just like I repeated that sogaeting-hajima-scene just to see RJY's eyes gahhh he's killing me.

  

 

I hate and love that scene. I hate the confession thing but i cant help loving RJY eyes and facial to deliver this scene. We can see the pain from his eyes so we feel hurt too, But this hurting feel didnt stop me to repeat this scene over and over. (my heart so bleeding right  now) Ahhhh this guy really love DS so much , he hurt but he must smile to hidden it and be happy for TK. He is a great man as a lover and friends. i hope we get what we expected about that blanket scene.

@wizengamot yeah, i hope so....i hope that noble idiocy doesnt last longer. I already hurt see JH hurt but i dont want to see DS hurt too.

Just wanna say something,i know some of ppl maybe thought that its not fun and kinda boring and want something refreshing for the ending of this drama that makes it different than the previous reply. And said how boring if bickering couple being the end game again, and first love thing happened again and chilbong 2.0 will be heart broken again.I am okay with that kind of ending but give me the fair development between TK and JH. Development that makes both of them fair as a love rival not put more weight on one side (from screen time etc) and as character generally. it will be difficult for a drama has two character that keep that fairness from beginning to the end, at least one must shinning more than the others to makes a drama conflict works.But for now i still see JH as the ending.Like i ever mention, if JH and DS isnt the ending then the entire great drama with great developing character, well written story, a great dynamic between each character will turned into really really bad writing drama without the consistency from earlier to the ending. and i will give an award as the trollest drama of my entire life unti now. I accept when Chilbong not the end, because i know how lack he is as a character, and how obvious trash is the end game from the beginning. I lose, but i'm not that blind to neglected the obvious things.We cant neglected the fact that Why waste all that time developing JH DS for almost 10 episode when you should have used it to establish TK-DS, what the purpose to makes JH becomes such endearing character from the beginning, to troll us in the next 10 episode. I think and believe that kind of ending (tk ds) wont happened in this drama, maybe the next drama will have the ending that everyone want. ahhhh i get some idea, why not you all makes your own drama? then you will be happy about the ending.

always a agree with everything you said. I dont know how many times i nodding my head when read part by part of your comment. That was exactly what i want to said too. Sometimes burdened me a lot when a viewer just see an actor who played a character than character itself. And in the beginning i know, PBG will be like that because he has many fans everywhere (who dont like handsome face and cute man like him?) Any character that he will be played in Reply will always attracted people and makes them support him. Just see he standing alone didnt do anything, his fans already huwaaaaa woaaaahhhh hmmmmmmmmm.TK is one character that i always waiting his development. I love his scene with dad, with squad so much. But with DS i feel its a little bland and its far if we compare JH action to DS. Just a simple line good night or dont go, we already feel a light stroke from his love to DS. that doesnt need a long time to delivery it to our viewers. But with TK that spent almost 10 minutes beach scene or china trip when anyone think that DS know him really well, i cant feel a romantic vibe from it and that spent more times than what JH did. For me, just a simple romantic action from JH toward DS is enough evidence too see how his feeling developing episode by episode. We always see this kind of JH action to DS almost in every episode (so far). From hidden smile in ep 1, alley scene, bus scene, meow scene, etc. Then, waht TK already did to DS? In TK DS relationship, everyone looks at TK as a central not DS. How TK needs her, how he deserved his love, how she always now what he need etc.

In drama we must put our heroine heart first as a central. JH knowing her better ofc. I still got a goosebumps from gloves things. Until today,i see it again and again i will always got that goosebumps. How can JH know what she want without asking her the detail (that angora thing.....even DS must explain the detail to TK). JH also always know when he must do the right thing to her (Mcdonald scene), when the important time to talk or behave like what she hope (hajima scene) when he must be a friend to her (still playful and bickering), when he must show to her that he is a man too, etc. So what already TK did to DS? what makes he has better qualification as a man than JH? what has been TK sacrificed for DS? (even TK cant give up his little time to her). In DS case, she need someone who take care of her (not someone that need her care), someone who always makes her be his number 1 (for now TK priority still baduk) and someone who always know what she want (not someone who must be explain about what she want), who completely understand her (not someone who neglected her).

The point is we are not a heroin of a drama,its okay to put our shoes on her (like we played as her) but everything has a limit girls. We must think about her heart not our heart, must think like her not ourselves, so dont go too far. Its not our real situation its the heroine of drama situation.

and i read somewhere that i dont understand how far this ppl defending those character. Like they are pointed at hubby face who dont look like JH (mention he need eyes surgery and change the face tone), Come one, are we always got a adult actor that look a like 100 percent with the teenager one in a drama? even noeul get shorter as he grow older? we just need the match of personality between the teenager and the adult actors, dont mention somebody face that his face not ours (little rude for me).

Everything is scripted in this drama (its not reality show------> even reality show sometimes needs to be scripted). We are watching Reply 1988 not hyeri Vapp. Even TK DS natural acting in beach was scripted too not only JH. LOL

Usually from being observant in K drama, if long life friends becomes lover, the 1st thing that they are afraid beside how they are sacrifice their friendship but also they afraid to become uncomfortable between each other. yes,i feel alone too. usually i just read comment in dramabeans or any other website. But this drama isnt enough just read there,so i decided to go to this forum too..read silently, said yes yes yes when have the same thought, feel frustrated when read other ship comment, etc. My favorite was jaljara and hajima..that simple line makes my heart flustered and melted. how many times i replay that scene.

It may refer to her memory of finally knowing her feelings and JH's feelings more clearly.. I think not having the present scene in ep 10 is to ensure added mystery and we'll found out later in the end. 

4. about SKINSHIP. idk if it's been mentioned before but TK-DS hold hands like it's no big deal at all. they've done it many times. but, but, we on this ship will have that moment to look forward to. i got this idea from the preview showing us SW touching BR's hand. we never zoomed in on DS holding TK's hand, if anything it's more to show that TK is a lefty (the grandpa playing baduk scene). so I am now looking forward to WHEN DS- JH will HOLD HANDS FOR THE FIRST TIME. And don't forget they have the movie date invite that JH mentioned in front of his house!! Waaaa <3 

5. To comment on Hyeri's V-app with RJY, she actually called both Oppa, since PBG is not the same age but 1 year older than her. But she's closer to PBG maybe because they're about the same age and have seen each other in music bank before? So their chemistry is nothing to worry about because it's off- screen anyway =p And I'd say this with confidence, but Hyeri is equally as comfortable joking around with RJY despite the age, so I anticipate their first kiss knowing they'll pull it off with such a great chemistry!!  

agree with all those list.. Yes, i'm waiting their first holding hand, hug, and kiss scene, I believe too if kiss scene happened (or already happened because the shyness of hyeri in her Vapp....ah my delusional comes again) both of them will delivering it well with such a great chemistry too..

@Cat Bishonen chilbong is my favorite character too in reply 94. i usually dont fall for that kind, almost perfect guy but yoo yeon seok makes this character so shinning in my eyes. Chilbong is my favorite but in entire reply series Junghwan is my most favorite character. i cant decribe in words how i adore him so much. he is just my one-of-a-kind guy. i agree with you, if he turned not to be the husband he will be more chilbong than chilbong itself. How well and doesnt lacking anything, JH character was written so far, so it will be more hurt than chilbong story.

In the Vapp, Junyeol has just finished his filming and changing his clothes to his next schedule, Hyeri was just arrived, getting her make up done and about to go filming....Until when Junyeol and Hyeri filming separately like this? huhuhu does it mean Duksun and Junghwan will be having less screen time together? DC info yesterday that they're filming epi 14th. when will the kiss scene?? wheeeeen?? huhuhu....

 

Wah, i think i must get in the line to be together with RJY in real life (oh delusional fans here too!!!!! you are not alone). In the past i didnt dare to stand an actor (like bias in kpop). Because its too hard to waiting their project. Mostly it will take a long time from 1 project to another project, Lets try stand them. Look at me now, at leas i have 2 favorite actor who ill try to stand like kpop idol. Maybe RJY can be the next one. (hhahahahahahahaha). The first reason why i stand this actor was because his character in drama who i love so much. Like JH character that makes me fallen for him in the speed of light. When decided to watch this series i didint want to take any ship but blame to JH i totally forgot about that decision. Then i realize why i love him it's because of his tsundere. I always looks weak in front of tsundere man (i admit JH isnt the 1st one).RJY makes this character more gorgeous and charming with his acting. love it!!!!

That separate filming makes me sad and frustrating too...i asked the same question with you until when they are filming separately? will we see the less screen time between them in the next episode?, In the beginning episode, i'm totally fine just seeing JH alone and enjoy the rest story (because the story still balance in earlier episode), But after ep9, its getting frustrated because i didnt see him enough especially JH-DS scene together. its halfway already, so i tought we will see them together more and more, but filming separately? . waiting a week already tired dont add with the less screen time of JH-DS. At least seeing JH-DS scene paid our bitter waiting. in the last drama what i watched i feel the same frustrating moment, because 2nd lead male always filming outdoor date with heroine, then where is my hero?why he didnt go outdoor scene too?. But after the hero and heroine confirm their love finally i see them have outdoor date. I hope this happen in reply too.

Hello everyone

After hesitate a bit i decided to make an account here and post a comment. It's fun to read many theory, opinion from different side view. I choose to post a comment here instead the drama thread. Because here i feel free and comfortable to post about my love for our otp.

You know guys,  everybody this thread like little hope, a little light when i feel unconfident about our otp being the end game and a proof that i'm not alone who believing ds-jh ship. I'm sure about them but at the same time I'm afraid too that chilbonged will comes again.

What i dislike the most about triangle love is when a ship start to neglected a character with putting down him so much and try to talk about the flaw about this character. Yeah every 2nd lead in every drama always being describe as someone who perfect,kind,knowing heroin heart better,sometimes have better chemistry with heroine and mostly played by cute or good-looking guy who can capture viewer heart easily.and every drama 1st lead man mostly describe as bad guy with many flaw, cold guy, sometimes a little  harsh to heroine, etc. This is that makes a hero always lacking if
we compare with 2nd lead. So, why we love hero then? For me i love because of his flaw and not-perfect character makes this character more fun and i waiting for his development. What makes reply series ship worse than other drama is his drama doesnt announce who was the real main lead (who played as a couple). In a drama with certain main lead couple, we also will see little
ship wars of triangle begin, and how about reply? Much much worse than it right?

About tk shippers, yeah sometimes their comment a little harsh and forced their opinion (and that what tk ds shipper see us too) i understand it, we have different point of view when see this drama (mostly like we see different drama). But at least respect the other character and set thelimit. Seeing them, like seeing myself in reply94. How delusional i was and how i neglect all the fact or code that was given in that drama. From the beginning when they tell that trash not najeong real oppa i already know he is the husband but yeah my denial and delusional makes me ignore this fact
(i rarely support 2nd lead, and chilbong was my strongest victim). I laugh when read their comment like i laugh at myself. Yeah i understand them so well. For me, if this triangle begin i just keep silent and fight for my own ship (tough its a little bit frustrated). If my still is not the end?

Fans of 2nd lead will always have tought that the ending of this drama must be different from other drama, its not fun at all if the bad-jerk 1st lead get the girl and their oppa get heartbroken. One the of the most well-known example is dream high. Yeah samdong get the girl is like the 2nd lead get
the girl right? When we spent 10ep full of hyemi and taecyeon lovely scene.But for me from the beginning samdong is the lead because he was the character who developed the most from underdog be talented one. And most of the story focus on his development. If this reply talked most about baduk player who still doesn't know anything outside baduk world being more human in society  and out from his comfort zone. Then I'm sure he will get the heroine in the end. But we talked about a family drama here. So i think the formula from k drama still exist here from our  k-drama-hero type get the heroine.

Junghwan is the character who is nearest from kdrama hero type. His character develop from bickering,grumpy, become most loveable endearing swoony one. His love for DS grow bigger same with our love from this OTP.. The lesson what i get from a kdrama is the amount of screentime from each character can't lie to us the viewers.  Main lead will always get the most screen time.
Everything that have relationship with hero and heroine will be shine a little more than others characters (but in reply, everybody get their own spotlight) And so far the beside DS, JH get  a little bit more screentime than the other guy in sammundong. Thats why i believe he is the husband. The other reason is the fact that we watch with own eyes how this character grow in love story part why he like DS, How the process? When he start seeing DS as woman, What he did to show his love, How he protect ds secretly, How he know what DS want without asking, How he step back when tought DS and SW like each other, etc.  But in taek case when he see ds differently? Why he
like DS? How the process? What he already did to her? When he think about her? I cant see the answer from that question. So it becomes stronger reason to believe he is the husband. Why did the writer feed us the viewer so much about jh-ds then? Why they develop jh character so much in the beginning? The amount is enough to said he is the lead here. And my belief that he is the end game being a big part why i choose him and this ship. If i'm wrong later yeah the only reason is the writer want to makes a troll and ta very big wist in this drama and makes something different with kdrama formula that they cant did in previous reply series. And the ending will be tk and ds then. It's so easy for the producing team to makes all code that belong to JH in first to TK's belong in the rest 10 ep. Like what they did with wedding photo at najeong oppa wedding and fake husband who chilbong look alike in reply94 to fooled viewers and bring a little hope to chilbong shippers. Lets see which way they will choose the traditional or unique ending.

About interview matter, why mostly think that the husband is well-known figure one? What if DS is the one who becomes important figure then? When the 1st time adult DS appear, i tought this is interview about her not her husband. From the character we know that DS not that smart girl but have a pretty face and personality. So i thought maybe she becomes actress or important figure in entertainment world because that field didn't required much brain but just look-wise at first. Who knows maybe DS has talent in that field. It just my thought in the beginning of series. Dont get fooled with the famous one in Reply, everybody can be famous in this drama (Like how eunji see trash oppa like seeing a famous figure like chilbong) Hahahahahahahahaha
