    I AGREE WITH YOU.

    GSY's ACTING IS REALLY GOOD.

HOW SHE REPRESENT THE QUEEN IS SO GREAT.........................

yeah.. i wanna know more about LM.. her airtime is so short....T-T....i wanna see her in saeguk next time...this is so sad... i have been expecting her role cause there's only few dramas about LM.. i wanna see her go wild how her brothers were killed and Bw taking another concubine..and knetz seems to be quiet about her character.. there's no comments about LM unlike the episodes where she was introduced and fight against BY... i wanna see her in the season 3... another saeguk.. maybe wife of king sejo..or a lover of king sejo....

This was rampant during Hollywood's golden age and still exists to some extent with smaller agencies.

this could also happen anywhere.. big agencies needs sponsorship too..look how idols landed leading roles in the drama yet they can't act and how they were awarded even though they were criticized by korean citizen for bad acting and low ratings of the dramas..

This morning I wanted to reply to @Ma OO post asking us to prepare for the worse. I am holding on to my belief that JW will not enlist without giving us a drama this year.

Now, I am not so sure. As more and more casting are confirmed, my hope dwindles. Unless we get blindsided. Like what happened to me with Yong Pal. I don't remember Yong Pal being in news way before JW was confirmed. It was just one article on DB which mentioned of the new drama and the next thing we knew, Joo Won was offered and confirmed shortly. All in span of the month of May in 2015.

I love Yong Pal but I hate the ending.

    Just read this:

    http://www.soompi.com/2016/02/12/anonymous-insider-reveals-insidious-reality-of-sponsorship-in-entertainment-world/#disqus_thread

Not that this is anything new - the entertainment industry is an ugly place to be in. Just makes me think of Joo Won (even for a man) being in this mess, I'm sure, and probably in many ways refusing to play the game. All the stories of pain he has hinted at too... Unless you are pure talent, and by that alone you rise... even then, it's so ugly. Just look at poor Wonnie's experience. No wonder he says it's rare to find someone like his Tae-Hee noona...

T-T i already knew this because of Jang Ja Yeon's incident in 2009 but never took it seriously. but then after knowing what happen to Gong Seung Yeon, I started to believe such thing exist in korea. I have enjoyed watching korean drama and listening to kpop girl band, now I can't bear to watch them without malice.. Especially those korean female idols who have been given a leading roles in the dramas but can't act and those female idols who are awarded like best actress but can't even act. poor korea.. they don't have a big chance to change the country since the country is controlled with the powerful  people with media play involved.

  6. Reading about General Nami's history. His mother was the 4th daughter of King Taejong. He served during King Sejo's reign and he was General Nami's great patron. He was known for his bravery and great general but unfairly executed at age of 27 because of the jealous ministers who framed him. This is really scary. It happened during King Yejong, son of King Sejo.. This is what happen when a weak king rules, and ministers hold the real power in the court..I remember again the literati purges..There will be jealous ministers who tried to harm the royal family and the other ministers. It's so hard to live during those days. You don't know which one is better. JDJ and BW are correct. They could have cooperate each other. BW's absolute monarchy only works for few years and JDJ's constitutional monarchy wins in the end. I thought it would be better for the country but it's not cause there a lot of purges, jealous ministers trying to bring down each other , and factional fight. Just thinking of it, it's really problematic. If only those two would have cooperate in the end, maybe they could have made everything turn out so well. But the problem is JDJ. If the real JDJ kept his plans secret from BW, then the betrayal really will occur. Those two are confucian scholars so maybe they might have understand one another.. I was not familiar of BW, so i thought before he's just greedy that's why he wanted absolute monarchy. but after knowing what  happen during the waning years of goryeo dynasty , it really made me think.. That time everyone is vying for power. Commoners and slave don't have a place in goryeo and joseon dynasty as long as there is a strict class system that divides the people. So the one that could benefit everything are the yangban. Yangban could go to school and spend their time in studying and work in the government while the lower people could not. So mostly the ministers are from yangban who work in the government only for themselves.. and another what i hate is the illegitimate children and slaves who couldn't work as an official. Illegitimate should only be applied for the inheritance, only the legitimate should inherit his father's estates but what if make a rule that illegitimate children could also work in the government just to survive? JDJ and BW are great men, but it didn't end well for them. JDJ create Joseon as a confucian country, so it's not a place for slaves, illegitimate children and commoners. In my POV, it's a country dominated by the yangban and scholar officials. The land are given to those merit subjects/ scholar officials who work in the government, and the one who's been working hard to cultivate their lands are the slaves and commoners.

  7. I hope that BY won't die or I don't really want him to change into ruthless later just because of BY.. BY might be his first love while Lady Min will become his true love..Poor woman.... The shine or go crazy ending is acceptable for me but I won't accept the ending if ends in the similar situation again..I want more romantic scenes of BW and LM.. I really hope BW will fall in love with his wife, which in the history didn't happen but I hope they would make an exception in this drama.

The guy from Nameless mentioned that Hwasadan has ended. It's over for Hwasadan. I guess YH now is fully following Sambong, no more "double agent" work. IMO the conflict in YH is over, so the writers now are focusing on the others.

So what happen to the hwasadan spies? I really like Ahn Ji Hye.... I feel bad for them for being used, they just don't know that who they really working for..

  9. I'm getting confused here or it's me who made myself confused? Min Je, LM's father the one who decided to make BW his son-in-law, and the house that they move in based in the history is originally from BW's father.. Then why did the writer alter the story? Why did they make it look like BW is the one who forced/proposed for the political marriage and that house is from LM's father.. It's more like BW is indebted to them and it really pains me to see how he will kill her brothers later on....He's the one proposes it to them , I just feel bad cause It was BW who proposes it then in the end it's Lady Min's loss... T-T Her 4 brothers will be killed and his father died out of shock..

If last episode belonged to our recently reformed but still hot-headed dragon, this one belongs to our usually even-tempered dragon, as he finally lets loose and shakes up the status quo. Jung Do-jeon is at his best when he’s not locked in a sitting position for scenes on end, and this hour is about unleashing him upon the world. Nameless better gird their loins and pray they won’t ever have to face the full force of their worst opponent’s might, but we get to wait for that confrontation with bated breath. Ah, the joys of being a viewer.

    sixdragons32-00009.jpg sixdragons32-00010.jpg

After Bang-won’s breakdown, the two sit by a warming fire as he tells Boon-yi that he’s expecting a reply from Nameless regarding her mother. He’ll keep his promise to her about her mother and the land reform.

Boon-yi eyes him warily, knowing that something must’ve happened for him to suddenly be talking about promises and why they can’t play together anymore. Instead of answering her, Bang-won just asks her to say his name.

“Bang-won-ah,” she says. He sheepishly asks her again, and she obliges: “Bang-won-ah. Lee Bang-won.” At his happy smile, she asks what that was all about, only for him to tell her not to say his name like that again. Nor to use informal speech.

  11. I am watching the drama of Empress of China. The story about the only female empress who ruled in china during the Tang dynasty and her self-proclaimed Zhou dynasty. She is similar to BW. She killed many people, tang royal family, and her own clan and children but ruled effectively. That;s why I don't have doubts with King Taejong for being ruthless.. When Empress Wu Zetian died, the throne was passed to her son Emperor Zhong-zhong, but he only ruled 5 years because he was poisoned by his wife Empress Wei and her lover Wu (Wu Zetian's nephew). That's how scary it is.. King Sejong is lucky to have a protective father like KIng Taejong, his father did everything for him and ruthlessly killed anyone whom he thought could be a hindrance to his son's rule. He doesn't care if he was hated by people. So that his son could become the greatest King and the country will achieve prosperity, that could be the most important for him.

Look how he loved his son, and doing everything for him, I could have believed that he really loved his wife, Queen Wonkyong..(just hoping:)) How sad it must be for King Taejong and Empress Wu Zetian, though they ruled effectively but still hated in the end cause the methods they used to consolidate their power and to rule.

[HanCinema's Drama Review] "Six Flying Dragons" Episode 32

    photo676993.jpg

In addition to being heroic, Bang-won also manages to be quite noble. While it's easy enough for us to sit here in the future and question the efficacy of Bang-won's technique, in the immediate term Bang-won is always thinking in terms of self-sacrifice and personal appeal. The irony here is that Bang-won doesn't want to sacrifice himself in such a way that will make future sacrifice impossible. Bang-won can give up on Boon-yi and still live to fight another day. But it really is quite impossible to see how the fight for Joseon can succeed without Bang-won's continued assistance.

Dissension in the enemy ranks, for example, becomes a big plot point here. It's awkward how in the midst of all this high-stakes scheming "Six Flying Dragons" keeps reminding us how these antagonist characters, for all their flaws, are still people with similarly high-minded goals. That these goals are constantly mutually exclusive is besides the point. Everyone is struggling to protect what is dear to them. While they often fail, to them it's the effort that counts.

While the argument is a sweet one I'm not so sure it's all that convincing. As frustrating as Seong-gye was in the earlier parts of "Six Flying Dragons" with his refusal to react, increasingly I'm seeing why it is that this was always Seong-gye's go-to response. Seong-gye has seen firsthand what ambition can do and how it can destroy people. Even noble-minded characters like Do-jeon can end up going too far, as is demonstrated in the cliffhanger.

The burning is just...what a scene. Pay special attention to the facial expressions of the various characters. While the enthusiasm of the crowd is intoxicating, they're little mroe than a giant angry mob here. That's pretty serious cause for nervousness, yet Do-jeon is oblivious to all that's happening save for the glory. This is one of the first scenes in a long time where Do-jeon and Bang-won are both happy at the same time for the same reason, and given Bang-won's slide into darkness lately, that's a very worrying sign.

In light of all that, I sure am glad that Muhyul is around to provide comic relief every so often. He really is such a great character, with that dopey smile that can turn any bad situation into a fun one. Yet even there the taste is a bittersweet one. Muhyul, and most of the other supporting characters are used to following orders, not questioning them. And as we see demonstrated time and again, allies can be just as big a problem as enemies.

Bang-won faces one of his biggest and most important decisions yet, and it’s one he must face alone, even if it pits him against everything he once held dear. It’s hard to watch without wanting to just give him a hug, but it’s another great performance feather for Six Flying Dragons to put in its hat. Though it was hardly wanting for stellar acting before, episodes like this are always a welcome bonus.

While Bang-won eavesdrops nearby, Jung Do-jeon emphatically explains his proposed system of governing to Jung Mong-joo, adding that the dying nation of Goryeo wouldn’t be able to sustain such a change. Only by creating a new nation can any of these reforms hope to be achieved.

For his new country to exist, Jung Do-jeon adds, the king must have the power only to appoint a prime minister—and he wants Jung Mong-joo to be it. The success or failure of the country would rest on his shoulders, and not Lee Seong-gye’s.

  15. I have so many questions after reading your posts. I don't which part should I start. @homurathank you for always sharing with us and your explanations to our questions:).

I don't want BY to die and I don't want BW to become a ruthless ruler later on just because BY died. If there's no happy ending for BW and his queen then I think it would be better to make BY as BW's concubine as Lady Hyobin. I don't want another woman will enter as Lady Hyobin. It is so sad. There's no happy ending here. What's happening? It's not the end of the world, he can still fall in love with his wife..and the wife I hope will also chose him after killing her brothers. It's so tragic for King Gongyang and his lover, and now this next. and after that BW and LM.. I hope just this once they would make an exception..In the other drama "Merchant Gaekgu" Bong Sam's wife died.  If there's no happy ending with BW and BY , then would it be better if they make BW and LM happy in the end..cause for now I feel bad for LM for having a ruthless king as a husband. I want her to be happy. Because it is so hard for me to recover from tragic ending, first is the Memories in Bali, Forbidden Love, Fashion King, and Shine or Go Crazy. and I don't like the ending of Yong Pal. and then there will be another sageuk this year, I know the ending won't have a happy ending again since the girl who falls in love with the future king who is already married with his half sister and future queen.

@homurafor me, the liadong peninsula is really a dangerous idea. It's not good to continue. I don't think they should focus on territorial expansion especially at Goryeo and early Joseon dynatsy times, what's more important is focus first how to stabilize the country and unite all the people. I don't think the JDJ's idea of Liaodong peninsula is good for people at the time esp. the enemy is Ming Dynasty. Did it come to his mind that what if they have lost? What if other than Yuan , they could have made Ming Dynasty their enemy?I am not really familiar with this, and I am not a korean so I don't understand why koreans blame King taejong about the Liaodong Expedition because for King Taejong it should not be their priority, many people will lost their lives and the country that time is unstable. They should focus first what's the best for the country and move forward. Do you think we willl be able to see here King Taejo and JDJ eliminate all the wang clan?

@homurayeah, about the minister-centrics. i remember it during King sukjong's reign.. It's very frightening. Especially for those queens being supported by different factions. There's a speculations that King Sukjong uses his women in politics. The winner takes it all while the losing factions will be either executed or exile. I feel bad for Queen Inhyeon.

I am so excited to know what reason Mohyul will turn against JDJ, BJ, and YH. Does he think that BW is right that's why he will stay with him and protect him...I want to know that. After killing JMJ, will he still protect BW..

I have read somewhere that after goryeo, the dynasty changed to joseon, and nothing have changed esp. in clans.. Clans in goryeo still have influence in the joseon dynasty. I wanna know what happen during the land reformation? did the haedong gapjok still have the lands they have inherited for 500 years? Is there nobles who still have the land? I wonder about Lady Min's family , what happen to their land after the land reformation and do they still have the land during after king taejong's reign? (I am starting to get obsessed with the Min Clan because they produced great queens XD than the other clans.but their life is so tragic.)

When Nam Eun and Cho young talked about how she was impressed with BW, there something in Nam Eun's expression.. I don't know what it is but for me it is something ominous for BW.
