Xiashenghan, you have a point about Leah telling Mang Sol just so Clark would vanish into thin air. She seems happy one time, and cold next. I'll just keep my fingers crossed on the unfolding of events.

i agree with you guys that Leah is trying to please everyone but at the expense of hurting Clark. i mean, she doesnt wanna hurt them but i think the lies can never fix the problem entirely. Leah is a bit wishy washy really. i can see Clark wanting to fight for their love if only she would be at his back to support him. when he was ready and determined, she let go. i understand her though and i know where she's coming from but when she abruptly left and just wrote a letter to him saying, "you're not hard to love and if we never meet again, i hope you can find someone someday" that part i was a little confused. hehe. you didnt even get a divorce! what if you never meet at all and he ends up meeting another girl someday like you said, then how can he really marry her??!! hahaha. though im still Team Leah, i was just looking at the big picture or circumstances. and i was a little puzzled too coz when Clark met Leah again, they only talked about them convincing Tatang Sol of the nature of their marriage, Clark goes back to SanFo and that's finished? and then what? she'll just tell Tang Sol that Clark died in America? LOL. i was expecting them to thresh out all the details and discuss what's going to happen next, like are they really breaking up for real? are they getting a divorce since Leah kept saying she doesnt want to hurt Tita Jack and Diego? coz if they have no plans of getting back together then what's stopping them from legally finishing off their relationship? Realistically speaking, if Leah ends up dating another guy and she doesnt end up with Clark, she has no marital records in the Phil so she wouldnt have problems with getting married, but what about Clark who resides in the US where he has a marriage registration? i was expecting a talk about the next step but so far none and i felt something was lacking. i felt relieved though when i saw the teaser that Leah finally told her father the truth. I do hope that Leah can pick herself up coz I badly want them to fight for their love together.

you know guys, i just realized something after watching last night's episode. im starting to dislike the whole "lying/pretending arc." i understand that they're doing it to preserve or to keep whatever feelings they have for each other. i mean, the lies can give them some sort of short term happiness or relief but it really wont help them if we're talking about long term goals. i mean, they started off as fake couple, they've been lying to the immigration that they're in love, Leah kept her marriage from her father, They lied to Tita Jack about their feelings, they lie to each other about their growing romances,Clark denied whatever feelings he had to Jigs several times (i agree with the gentleman's agreement thing), now they're lying to Tang Sol again (Leah will confess to him nextweek though) and now Clark is lying to Tita Jack again that his return was purely business as well as to his grandma. i mean, i would understand Jigs feel betrayed in the end or if Tita Jack gets tired of trying to believe Clark and Leah after all the lies. i know this is the only way for now but i hope that the writers would give us more dynamics coz it may seem cute when we watch it as a drama, but if we take it into account in real life, its very frustrating for everyone and may make you lose credibility to them. their whole situation is a cobweb of pretentions of their own making. if they really love each other, then play it fair and square and fight for it with their faces held high. its too early now but its been 3 months already and they're still hiding and not being honest about it to everyone that sometimes i kinda understand that Tita Jack or Jigs feel wronged coz they arent playing it fair.
seeing the teaser for nextweek when leah says, "my feelings are gradually coming back" i was like, "huh?" i'm not sure if she's telling the truth but seriously? i read similar reactions on instagram. so you just got back to the phil for like a month and you already moved on??? and your feelings are coming back just now? now i can understand how easy it was for Leah to do so with Jigs. i mean, when she broke up with Jigs, she did it for her family so she could go to America and moved on. then, she broke up with Clark for his family's own good and moved on (?). i can sense how much family outweighs everything else for Leah. but both guys are still madly in love with her. the only difference is that Clark stands a greater chance of winning her back than Diego. one word Leah, "haba ng hair mo girl!" haha. or maybe i am just overthinking stuff.-

Why are you guys so awesome??!! I cant wait for Mekeni to come home so that Leah would realize that she and Clark are made for each other! Seriously Leah? You're basing your future decisions that could tremendously affect your life as well as happiness on the possibility of a bird's return? Well, anyway that's Mekeni after all and i bet he'll come back for the sake of you and Clark's sanity (and the viewer's too LOL) and because "kapag mahal ka, babalikan ka."
I am so excited for the upcoming courtship scenes! Woho!!

I agree with all of you guys and it was probably Jigs own doing that may have prompted Leah to respood in that way and its pretty exhausting putting up with all of that. No relationship is perfect and ive come to realize that there are just certain people we meet in our live that have varying degrees in affecting us. Maybe i just felt that way because i didnt see the kind of relationship she had when they were together. It was always Jigs who remembered everything, how they met and what they did, etc but Leah has never said a single memory about them and again, maybe that's just me but i found that a little ironic. She desnt have to feel any kind of feelings of longing for Jigs, just that she never talked about him at all, not to Tita Jack or Clark Who both know Jigs personally. and i usually mention those stuff about my past because we somehow shared certain memories especially to common friends. There was even one time that Jigs asked Tita Jack if Leah talks about him and she was a little hesitant and said "sometimes." Like the one Im seeing now with Lea's scenes missing clark or a particular scene where she feels a sense of liberty from him. She jus left, started life in America without a single moment of remembering him, or contemplating about his obsession or whatever after he calls and asks for another chance and its like she never knew him on a deeper level at all.(in the beginning withot Clark)For me, that slow progression was missing, or maybe the writers didnt feel it was necessary for us to see those painful times when Leah was falling out of love and staying only out of pity for him. Thanks for your profound answers. By the way, i saw this pic and it appears that Jigs will follow Leah to the Philippines too.

Xiashenghan, you must be right. She couldve gotten tired of him and there's nothing wrong with that coz each one handles relationship differently. I was talking about this with my best friend who was in an on and off relationship with 2 guys being the first to last 2 years and the second is 3 years and counting since they are still in that stage and each time they broke up, she was so devastated. It became monotonous but she got so used to it that the last time they broke up she got so upset and broke up with him, spent a year moving on and despite gaining composure, it hurt her everytime and remarked how easy it was for Leah's character to forget Jigs. I was also in a similar situation that time too so i wondered. I also felt bad for Tita Jack coz i can see how much she genuinely cares for everyone, but of course Jigs is her son after all and she was just quite shocked coz she didnt see it coming. But when she didnt openly blame Clark and Leah although she did give her the cold shoulder which is expected. and i loved how she comforted her when she found her crying. I knew then that Tita Jack was never meant, and never will be a villain and that someday, she will find it in her heart to accept them someday.

So i watched the first few episodes and i am just a little curious. Leah had been with Jigs for a long time right? I dont know why but i can clearly see why Jigs is so ridiculously crazy for Leah but i just find it, a little unrealistic that as soon as they broke up her feelings for hm instantly vanished just like that. I think she cried only one time and then its done and she didnt even go through atleast 2 stages of break up, although i know that Jigs is such a douchebag but well, she must have had some good times with him too judging from their graduation, birthday, etc photos and the fact that she stayed with him for 4 years and not to mention he is her first bf, she must have felt some kind of remorse even in just first 2-3 episodes. I mean, i dont expect her to cry or breakdown, just a few short reminiscing scenes in the first few episodes fresh from their breakup and gradually forgetting him, like she see's a burger or a scooter and randomly blurts out an old memory to Tita Jack or Clark like "you know, Jigs used to pick me up from work everyday in that motorcycle." (Mace of That Thing Called Tadhana was more realistic though or maybe the writers didnt think that part is relevant at all)Actually, her moving on stage was too fast or she didnt really love him that much like how crazy she is with Clark now whom she's known for a shorter time. Well, i know that the length of time that two people are together isnt the most important, but im just not too convinced with her reaction to the breakup before Clark entered the picture. I mean, even the way she interacts with him, i cant feel any sense of familiarity that i expect to even unconsciously since i also have some friends who've broken up and as much as they despise or avoid each other, i can sense a certain connectio due to their previous relationship, i cant feel that with Leah's body language. For one, the writers made him into such a dislikeable person that i cannot see any reason why she even liked him in the first place. Hehe. Sorry guys, its just that i have noticed that from the beginning and i just feel like taking it out of my system. although, i do understand that each person is different so maybe its just me. Im speaking based on my own personal experience.

Gosh! Jigs is so annoying and Tita Jack is starting to get on my nerves. Wow! I have a lot of back reading to do since i havent opened the thread for almost 2 days. There's another TV show that's popular now and a loveteam named Aldub. I often heard about that but last sat was my first time to watch it by chance and although i didnt understand a lot coz i never saw the earlier episodes, it pushed all the kilig buttons and my mind was just about Aldub for two days! Haha Sorry guys, i know this is the OTWOL thread, just i have no one to talk to about it and now im going crazy because of two tv shows! Haha. This will be the death of me! However Now, ive regained myself and my loyalty will always be to Clark and Leah!
Im wondering though, can a tourist visa holder get a job legally? I mean, i remember that Leah had a hard time finding one before coz she didnt possess a greencard and Tita Jack had to even find underground or unstable work options for her, and Jigs suddenly has a job interview? wHat???!!!

Im okay with them temporarily separating to find themselves and know how much they value each other, but still remain married. Although i would like it more if they dont break up at all just like Healer!

KDIK- i remember Jadaone saying that she watched Diary ng Panget and she really liked it. she even thought that they were dating in real life but she only found out that they were just friends during the workshop. ABS CBN already gave the roles to Jadine prior to offering it to Jadaone and she said the top 3 reasons that she agreed to do the project is that 1) its Jadine's first teleserye 2) its shot in Sanfo (most of her movies explore beautiful places like Baguio and Batanes) 3)its a romantic comedy. She said that she told herself before that she will never do TV coz she's more used to movies (she said in an interview that she has fetish for eye candy scenes and unique camera angles and executions which are heavily influenced by her years of movie experience as a PA.) I think she has great potential in making world class shows and movies. I think she will be better than her mentor Joyce Bernal or even Cathy Molina.

Jafstar, funny how we both asked the same question without even knowing! I really wish that they never get divorced!! By the way, i have been seeing this picture popping up in the OTWOL behind the scene posts. they look more matured and Leah looks more sophisticated. Can this possibly be them a few years after divorce in the future episodes?. I hope not... huhu. Maybe im just wrong.

By the way, guys i have a question. Can Leah and Clark actually divorce now? Isnt it that ther's a law for new greencard holders who got theirs thru marriage that they have to wait for 2 years before getting a divorce like the couple who got married earlier? Coz it would really seem suspicious in the eyes of the authorities if they get a divorce immidiately after Leah gets the greencard, and they've been married for just a couple of months. I believe that they are still under the observation of immigration most especially since they had a lot of issues before like intimacy or Leah not knowing about Clark's dad in the previous eps.

ok so this is my first time ever to do the recap and here it goes. the episode starts with Clark asking Leah to go to the Prom with him and she agrees, after shortly returning to their place and giggling like a kid. this is also the first time he called her "Mrs. Leah Medina." while they were inside the limo on their way to the hotel, Leah asks Clark why he's doing this and he said that its the part 2 of their celebration for accomplishing their mission and also since they both havent attended their proms. when they arrived in the hotel, an american butler greeted them and assisted them to the ballroom where Cullen and Leah's friend were also waiting for them. they start talking about Leah's dream about wanting to wear a pretty gown, shoes, tiara and the orchestra. clark said something like "of course, your prince charming. but since he isnt here, then i will be your proxy for tonight." they sat down and started eating and drinking wine and Clark told Leah that he has one more gift for her. it was the wooden box with words written at the top that says "sayo lang ako" (im only yours) and told Leah that if she has any important stuff or valuables, she can keep it there. Leah mumbled, "how? i dont think you can fit inside this box." Clark was a little stunned but he seemed happy about it. Meanwhile, Tita Jacks and Jigs went out to buy pasalubong (food souvenir?). Then Clark told Leah that the night isnt finished yet, he went first and Leah followed him. he started playing the piano and Leah was smiling sweetly. afterwards, Clark approaches her and tells her that he didnt have enough time to learn the piano so that was all he can do. Leah smiles at him and says "Clark. this is simply too much"and hugs him. they both hug each other earnestly. Jigs told Tita Jack he wants to visit Mang Sol and buy him some food. while Clark and Leah were dancing, Leah started talking about her ultimate crush when she was in high school and that she wanted to be his date for the prom but since she didnt go, he danced with another girl and eventually became his gf. Leah however realized "now i know why i couldnt go to that prom. because this moment was waititng to happen. even if i had a time machine, i would never change a thing, not this moment, and especially the man who is my promdate now. i know this is only for tonight and tomorrow, things will go back to how it really is but this reality is better than any fantasy." Clark didnt seem to be too talkative in this ep. Meanwhike, Jigs went out to celebrate with his friends, and his "jawline" friend unexpectedly told a poem about loving someone, its really meaningful guys, i dont think any subber could accurately give justice to that in translating the exact meaning. On their way home, Leah asked Clark how he could pay for all those and he said some Filipinor helped out so she shnuldnt worry. LEAH falls asleep on his shoulder, Clark tells the driver to drive slowly "coz these moments shouldnt be rushed."Tita Jack and Clark started talking the next day and she revealed to Clark that Jigs will be with her when she goes back to the US and that he's so determined to court Leah again. this causes Clark to smirk and that night, he kept looking at sleeping Leah and thinking about what Tita Jack said.
hew... that's done. sorry guys, i want to be as detailed as possible but i cant. anyway its one of the best episodes so far. just the right mix of fantasy and reality. hehe.. i gotta admit, recapping isnt easy! haha. Goodnight guys!

What do u think guys? Im wondering how Tita Jack finds out about Clark's true feelings. Will she catch them looking at each other differently or acting more intimately(unconsciously though) or Clark will admit on his own about the growing feelings he has?
I just noticed that i have never seen them holding hands like fingers intertwined. Haha. im excited for that.
I agre3 with Ranxie about the those scenes that we've been waiting for since they released the trailer and there wer no convos, the clips were not in order judging by their clothes and Clark didnt even ask her. It would have been more natural if they were shown the next day first waking up, taking a shower, looking at each other, Leah helping him with his shirt and say "are you ready?" They smile and start on the trip. The prom thing, that part i was a little suprised that Clark instantly had money to buy those shoes, gown, tiara and stuff when he said that he was still going to save up for his sister. I feel that episode had a lot of inconsistencies, plus it was to fast. tOo many things were going on in 1 episode. It didnt make a lot of sense. Hahaha. Maybe they cut some scenes to give way to the ads? I heard they make last minute adjustments and some scenes dont get to the final cut.
I AM EXCITED FOR THE HALF NAKED SCENE OF THE TWO GUYS AS WELL! haha. Leah, ikaw na! WOHOHO

Haha. Last night i seriously complained about the editing of their out of town trip. It wast too fast and too sudden and the sequences and the scenes were not well connected. Anyway i guess jafstar youre right. why would DC do that? Probably i just got paranoid coz a few weeks ago i came across http://pinoyistics.blogspot.com and its like his blogs are dedicated to proving that hunch of his that Korean sites are responsible for some strange anomalies going on and last night it occured to me.
Anyway that fountain kiss was very short but it was my favorite coz they looked so genuinely happy. Idk. Too bad it was a daydream. I already guessed it was judging from Leah's reaction but i wish Clark can really be as honest as that. And the mom, our assumptions might be right that she didnt stay there in her own volition but she was forced to. Maybe she tried to do what Leah did and married him for the greencard and when she finally asked for a divorce, he threatened to kill her? Jigs is delusional really. Leah doesnt owe Clark anything? What about him? Does Leah owe him anything? Ugh... being Tita Jack's son doesnt automatically make Leah debted to him as well. Sometimes i want to slap his face with reality so he can get out of the limbo that he created.

Can anyone tell me what's happening to DC? i mean i checked ep 29 and 30 and they were cut to 6 minutes!! Yesterday i was able to watch the entire episodes. What happened?? Gosh i hope they upload the full eps soon! i think its not ABS coz they havent mentioned anything about taking down vieos again, i think they are okay with it now. But I read earlier in a blog that some korean sites are trying to sabotage by deleting some filipino shows when they become popular and when i saw that i thought he was some kind of bogus writer so i didnt really believe it and i am hoping and praying its not true and there's just a technical problem.

Yes! Second the motion KDIK, AlexMao,lalalala823, bella1025! Leah's indicisiveness really gets me sometimes. at times i get so pissed when i watch kdramas where the lead man is super cold to the girl and the lead woman always makes the first move and now this. Clark is so sweet and pretty much does everything to make her feel special and is very showy in how he feels but Leah keeps dismissing all his effort and even shuts him out entirely. I can sense that Clark is more attached based on his convo with Cullen. But i think he is hesitant in pursuing Leah because of lack of reinforcement on her part and the fear that she wouldnt reciprocate his feelings. If only Leah can be courageous enough not to be swayed by other people's expectations, Clark will be more than willing to fight for their love even at the cost of going against his family's wishes.
My heart broke when he said to Cullen, "maybe im the only one who feels this way and she only sees me as a friend who can help her get a green card. And its hard coz I REALLY WANT HER TO LIKE ME." He has already came to terms with the fact that he already has fallen for Leah whereas if we notice Leah hasnt yet when she said to her friend "I THINK I'm starting to like him."
Leah, im begging you. Can you please let Clark talk for atleast 5 minutes before interrupting him?? I like you a lot but you get on my nerves sometimes.

watching the episode last night kinda disatisfies me a bit. maybe im still the traditional type and i dont really mind the kissing scenes coz those are really essential to show the progress of emotions but i hope that they dont give us too many... char!! haha. i feel that once they do, maybe its just me but the magic somehow disappears. what i mean is that i dont really care if they kiss or not, what i would love to see is that two of them become honest with each other once and for all instead of the push and pull thing. i was excited not exactly for the liplock but for what happens after that, but then, it wasnt what we were expecting since last week wherein the will own up to their feelings. they kiss now, the next thing they dismiss it as if nothing happened and if they keep doing this, being too safe or scared then they will both just end up hurting themselves and it would seem (to me) that Leah isnt the typical dalagang pilipina that they are portraying her to be.(i have nothing against the modern women though, but it just contradicts her personality in the series). suddenly i remember the "the one you love or the one who loves you?" question and obviously Clark has stronger feelings than her and he is almost teary eyed everytime Leah says "its nothing".. gosh!!! Please Clark, for once dont let her cut through your words like she always does. be honest. Ask her if she likes you straightforwardly before attempting to kiss her so you dont eat hopia again. Cullen's right. keeping quiet about it, making assumptions, or giving her subtle signs of your motive wont get you anywhere coz chances are, she'd be too scared to confront you about it. if she tries to evade the subject again, dont be demanding but be firm so you can both live in peace and if she still denies it, then now you know your real place in each other's lives and maybe she'll think about things more seriously after. you did your part. IF you really cant pursue each other despite knowing your feelings then atleast you can be honest and settle things, make limitations and be aware of your rights and not setting yourself up for future disappointments.
Tita Jack, please stop giving Jigs false hopes. Leah already told you that she has no plans of getting back with him and you already told her she can find a new bf excep Clark. Just be honest with Jigs and tell him "i know you love Leah. you can choose to pursue her again but keep in mind that you two have broken up, so if things dont turn out the way you want, be prepared and accept her decision." it really bugs me everytime she tells Clark "take care of Leah for Jigs, okay?" sorry for the rant. haha-

Oh my gosh! They finally fullfilled 2 out of my 3 requests for the show! a sky lantern scene in december! (although it was too short and not as romantic as i imagined) and a skating scene (with the falling down and holding hands! Direk, thanks so much!) Who knows, they are probably reading the soompi post and saw my comment! Or maybe not, just im so happy! Can u guys add a scene like "time capsule" thing! Thank you! OFFICIAL JADINE!
