    Earlier in the show - it was revealed that the King's and Choi SukBin's firstborn son (GaeDong/DaeGil) that Baek Man Geum (Choi SukBin's first husband) raised as his own adopted son -   had a mole/birthmark on his chest....

    Well, the birthmark is in episode 5 - on GaeDong/DaeGil's LEFT chest....I don't recall Sukkie having a birthmark naturally on his chest (but those who have been Mr. Jang's fans a lot longer than I can correct me) , so this birthmark is probably part of his role...you can also see the sternal scar from the arrow point when he/GedDong/Dae Gil  was an infant.....

    In Episode 6 - King has a mole on his chest too - but it is in the CENTER of his chest and I don't know if that is Choi Min Soo, or the part that he plays as the King....I suppose if the birthmark is close in appearance to the parent - this could be a form of paternity test - since they didn't have DNA testing then.

    Two of Jang Kuen Suk's shows are in Korea's Top 10 - per Yonhap news and CPI. Sukkie's Produce 101 was No.2 after Descendants of the Sun, and Daebak/Jackpot was 3rd.

    The inter-occupational romance drama "Descendants of the Sun" stayed No. 1 with 323.1 points, leading the second-place "Produce 101," an Mnet girl group competition show, by 70.8 points.

    Three new shows debuted in the top 10 in the fifth week of March. SBS's "The Royal Gambler," ranked third, with "Monster" on MBC in sixth place. KBS 2TV's "My Lawyer, Mr. Jo" finished ninth."

    Athough fans of Jang Keun Suk know that he has done historicals before, those who are not his fans are unaware of his playing Prince ChangHwi in Hong Gil Dong.  So while we wait till Monday for the Episode 3 of Daebak, I wanted to post these pics of Hong Gil Dong from DramaFever:

    All the pics are from Hong Gil Dong form DramaFever.  The last pic is from fighting scene - very very nice fighting scene. Since Prince ChangHwi/ Jang Keun Suk on the lower right - is nobility- he uses the sword as a weapon.  Hong Gil Dong uses the staff.

    People's excitement for three new dramas is reaching the peak. On March 28th, new dramas of SBS, KBS 2TV, and MBC are going to premiere.

    The three dramas are titled 'Jackpot,' 'My Lawyer, Mr. Jo,' and 'Monster,' and many drama fans are already falling into a deep dilemma.

    'My Lawyer, Mr. Jo' is a drama motivated from a webcomic series of the same title, and it is going to show the story about a prominent lawyer named Jo Deul Ho, who loses his career and fame after accusing the prosecution for corruption.

    Park Shin Yang, who had played in 'Lovers in Paris,' 'Painter of the Wind,' 'War of Money,' and 'Sign,' is going to make his first comeback in five years through 'My Lawyer, Mr. Jo,' and many people are showing huge curiosity about how Park Shin Yang will interpret 'Jo Deul Ho' in the drama.

    Along with Park Shin Yang, Kang Sora, Ryu Soo Young, Park Sol Mi, and Kim Gap Soo are playing in the drama as lead roles.

    Currently, KBS 2TV drama 'Descendants of the Sun' is showing absolute domination over all other dramas, and many people are showing huge curiosity about whether 'My Lawyer, Mr. Jo' will be able to earn the same popularity.

    Lastly, 'Monster' is going to evolve around one man, who loses his family and life due to a conspiracy related to a colossal group of people with invincible authority.

    Kang Ji Hwan is playing in the drama as the lead role, and the drama will show the lead role's revenge and romance.

    Sung Yoo Ri is playing in 'Monster' as Oh Soo Yeon, who Kang Ki Tan (Kang Ji Hwan) falls in love with while preparing his revenge with her. The two had played in drama 'Hong Gil-dong' and movie 'Runway Cop,' and many people are showing huge anticipation for the new collaboration that they will show together.

    'Monster' is a new drama co-written by Jang Young Chul and Jung Kyung Soon, who had written major hit dramas like 'Empress Ki,' 'Incarnation of Money,' and 'History of a Salary Man,' and production director Joo Sung Woo, who had directed 'Legendary Witches,' 'A Hundred Year Legacy,' and 'Hooray for Love,' is participating as the head director.

    Earlier, in another translated interview, JKS promised YJG that if they get a ratings of 25% (which is really huge), he would give dating lessons to YJG.

    Lookeee!  Sukkie is holding hanafuda cards with his cartoon pic of himself in the Hanafuda set!!! So, instead of the 20 point (high point card) crane, it is Sukkie - ha ha! Cute! Cute!

    Thank you Sunny2014! This is an amazing video which shows the many ways Eels everywhere are supporting JKS's new drama Royal Gambler/Daebak..Tons of Rice gifts, placards on shopping carts, posters on sides of buses, commercials on giant marquee screens in the center of town - wow! Very very amazing at the amount of support from Eels.

     I just came across this youtube video after watching I think - "Royal Gambler/Daebak" Teaser No. 4 , and the song - "The Melody We Make Together" seems to be one of the closing songs that Sukkie ends with in his concerts...I love the acoustic feel of  this version - and it is very quiet ...unlike his live concert version - where he slows down to catch his breath - then rips into it really fast and energetic with all dancers on stage and the whole arena/hall lit up ( I only know this from the dvds - not the real shows - unfortunately)!

    Thank you Sunny for posting these pics...Is he wearing the hat that scholars wear? or that nobility wear?  

    Because if he is, Dae Gil as a scholar seems even more complex.....than Dae Gil as "nobility"...!!!

     he looks young, and sincere...

    If you really knew him recently and you want to follow him closer, I warn you - it will be long journey :P

    He began his career 23 years ago and has been a lot of things - a model, an actor, a MC, a singer. But the most important - he is a great person. So you have to learn many facts and to watch many videos and you will be surprised how he is so different and how he stays himself.     Thank you so much for the links - I found both of them earlier, and have been dropping by and leaving happy messages on the tenshi site - is that the same as the Forever site?  The eels family also i found some great stuff.... 20 years in show biz..that is a lot of vids to see.....

    I am waiting for the fanclub in japan to open up its membership, and am hoping it will open to international fans....meanwhile I am just really enjoying getting to know him and I guess his "eels".  

    Thank you for posting more pics from the photo exhibition and I also came across a nice article in DramaFever that spoke about how his fans did a number of things for him and his staff and donation of rice. Even the international fan club seem very very organized...

    As I go through his vids - he is very very different each time...this is going to be fun - getting to know him...thank you for your reply and postings!!
