I can't say anything but to agree.
I thought Washington put up a good fight against Seattle today - 3 turnovers and missed golden opportunities. If they were successful in turning the TOs into points, then I think they would have come on top.

Washington at Tampa Bay
Redskins over the Bucs, 31-28, OT. I think this could turn out to be another high-scoring affair between the two teams.
Jacksonville at New England
Patriots over Jags, 24-16. I don't think Leftwich will do too well, and their offense will freeze. Brady will have a modest 200-yd, 2 TD day.
Carolina at N.Y. Giants
This one's the big ? for me. I really think it's up for grabs, but if I had to choose...
Panthers over Giants, 28-20. This game really depends on how Eli performs, but seeing that it's his very first playoff game, I think he will struggle against a good panthers defense. It's going to have to be Tiki taking charge if they want to win.
Pittsburgh at Cincinnati
Bengals over Steelers, 20-13. I think Bengals will take the lead going into fourth, forcing Ben to throw and cap their win off with an interception late in 4th quarter.
My predictions to the Super Bowl? Colts (AFC) and Seahawks (NFC).
Two favorites who will NOT be in the Superbowl: Patriots (AFC) and Bears (NFC).

If that happened, Sixers would actually have a championship-caliber roster with Iverson, Webber, and Artest leading the way... We would probably have to give up Andre Iguodala though, at least.

Chicago's loss to the Steelers proved to me that they won't go too far come playoff time. Kyle Orton lacks experience as a starter, and with a lackluster offense, their superb defense can only go so far. Remember, defenses don't put scores on the board (well, most of the time), it's the offense. If the Chicago offense repeats what they did against Steelers, they're goners.
Good game from the Eagles (23-26 OT Loss) and perhaps the most solid game in weeks, but they are now eliminated from playoff contention. Hard to suck in the pride as a philly fan, especially because I remember cheering like crazy last year during super bowl. I hope that the core players come back from injuries next year and compete again for the title.
Fantasy-wise, I'm very happy that I started Bobby Engram off free agency this week. 2 TD catches. w00t.
That team is soon to be 11-3 and a 2nd seed for the fantasy playoffs starting next week.Also, I think Seattle is overrated. I don't know how much credit I can give to their defense, but their sole reason for success on offense is because of Shaun Alexander. I personally think that Matt Hasselbeck isn't a great QB and freezes at clutch moments and drives. Their WRs are admirable (Engram, Jurevicious, Jackson), but there are certainly not the top names in football. If Alexander wasn't there to support his team, then I'm sure he would have done a lot worse.

koy detmer may be better than mcnabb at holding the ball, but thats about it. i'd much rather have a hurt mcnabb out there than a healthy koy detmer.
Seriously, Detmer isn't going to launch a 91-yarder TD to TO. Besides, McNabb's pocket just crumbled under Broncos' defense today - McNabb got hurried so many times. Yet he still threw 3 touchdowns.. I say that's no stat to disregard.
I would rather stay with a hurt quarterback who can throw 280 yards with 3 TDs (and 2 INTs) instead of bringing in a healthier backup. Donovan is a clear leader and focal point of Eagles offense and its entire organization. Playing the rest of the season without him would be disadvantageous.

well not really. i think mcnabb just wants to show off. remember when mcnabb went out for a quater in like week 3 or 4 and the back up stepped in. he went for 4-5 for 52 yards in a quater. ill have faith in my back up to. just like T.O was injured and he missed the playoffs so if they did make it to the superbowl that he would be in clear. he still could of played through the playoffs with that injury but he didnt. so mcnabb should do the same.
You do realize that this "sports hernia" isn't an injury that makes the conditions worse for McNabb as he plays? He feels pain as he plays, but his conditions isn't getting worse by playing.
Your comparison with T.O is unjustifiable because TO's injury to his leg would have gotten worse if he indeed played in that state. Why do you think TO's doctor want him to stay out for the Super Bowl? It's not because he wanted to prevent him from experiencing pain. Heck, if pain was all TO would get while playing, the doctor would probably let him play because TO really wanted to play on Super Bowl. The doctor didn't let him play because he thought that playing at not-100-percent would make his injury worse.
As a Philly fan, I admire McNabb's willingness to go through the pain and step up as a leader even in pain. No one here thinks he's acting out of selfishness or boastfulness, but out of what's best for the team.

i'm sure the D wouldn't mind catching a break...maybe peyton can give em some rest, check it, they'll be on the field more often than not so long as peyton's launching 50 yard bombs to marvin harrison
I sure hope he throws some touchdowns. I have him on my Fantasy roster, and he hasn't produced well this season (Matt Hasselback and Eli Manning each has more fantasy points than he does this season, for goodness sakes).

Peyton isnt throwing less b.c the coaches know how to stop peyton...he has been in the league for a while now and for a while the only team that can stop peyton was/is new england
Well, the NFL coaches have certainly learned what Peyton does and what they need to adjust in order to deal with it.
Look at the stats - Not only is Peyton throwing less than last year, he's throwing less TDs, more Interceptions, and his team as a whole is not scoring as much as it did last year.
As much as some of the critics say that "their offense is not clicking," what's there to NOT click?? I mean, come on. Their offensive lineup hasn't changed since last year!
You have to give at least SOME credit to the opposing defenses for learning how to deal with the Colts' offense. The new part this year for them is to figure out Colts' defense, which improved tremendously.

Well, my earlier predictions were correct about how Patriots and the Bears will be the two teams who will NOT make it to the superbowl. However, I'm shocked that the Colts didn't win that game, especially when they had home-field advantage and such a consistent offense. I wonder how the Colts and their fans feel right now..
