i get my Korean entertainment news from Allkpop koreaboo but they don't write much about her unless she has a movie out.
I am always thirsty for news about her. it's been a while since she did a movie.

Hello! It's been so long since I last logged on to soompi, these forums don't seem to be very popular nowadays lol
I've been getting JiWonnie updates from twitter since I'm there for most of the day. Also time for an Empress Ki rewatch!! Someone happened to post a compilation of Jiwon's action scenes and I thought I'd go see EK again... also, she was in Malaysia a month or two ago, and I missed it since I had an event. Ugh what are the odds. I saw pictures though, and she was glowing as always...
That's all I have now, but hope to drop by more often!!

Was lurking on HJW DC, and apparently the Assistant PD for Hospital Ship will be the FD of Damo (also asst. pd of TK2H).
Also, seems that filming will start in July and end in November.

Well, I guess we really need to wait until the drama airs for us to pass judgements. The thing is that we're already thinking it's gonna be a bad drama just by looking at the little info we have. Admittedly her choices have been appaling ever since she left Wellmade, and if this drama does flop, it would be really disappointing. But I still feel we're a bit overly concerned about this drama. Shouldn't we wait till at least they release the teasers?

Finally more insight into ths character. I feel like I'm bipolar about this, but all of a sudden I'm really excited about the drama.
Also, I won't say it's a downgrade though, she's not the only A-lister who has been given idols to act with in a lead role.

Lmao, I guess we'll just wait till it airs to see. Her dramas have always been like that, she's the first name to be attached, and then only if she accepts will they cast the male lead. But I'm just appalled at KMH being a lead. I've seen him in Heirs and thought he was quite serviceable but to be a male lead? This is questionable lol. How did they go from CJH to KMH? I'm hoping there won't be a loveline, like what the others said. I'll tune in though, unless the plot is makjang or the story is boring.

I don't really care who the writers are as long as it's well written and directed. I was just using noh hee kyung or kim eun hee dramas as an example of the type of quality writing I would like for HJW to have. At the end of the day, I just want her to chose a role that she feels is challenging and has good writing/directing.
Thats the problem with small agencies, sort of hoped she resigned with her old one, or even signed with a more influential one. She needs a team that can make good decisions with her for her projects. Like how Empress Ki was technically a hit in Taiwan and in other countries.
My thoughts on her stylist: I'm not sure if Kim Hwal-ran is still working with her but I wasn't a fan of her makeup. I was going through her red-carpet pics circa 2008-2011 and I totally understand why you would say her agency needs to rehire that stylist. I do think they chose this look for her because of her short hair. Oh I miss those days when she could look like a plain jane one second and become ultra sexy and spunky the next.
And her muscles oh I miss those muscles. AH I WANT HER IN AN ACTION MOVIE.

I watched this show for Alice Ke and the scriptwriters tbh (i really liked Marry Me or Not), but this show is severely underrated internationally... tight plot, fast pace, relatable characters, amazing actors... easily one of the best I've seen in years. Really hope they get as much attention internationally as they did in TW and Mainland China. Will b rooting for them at the golden bell's.
