T_T , I don't get this at all.
I'm friends with this guy and our feelings are mutual, we both like each other, but we never really advanced to the next stage because of complications.
But anyways, for about a month, give or take a few days, he didn't talk to me and then when we finally met up, he asked for us to remain friends and I said of course. But after July 8th, he isn't talking again.
What's going on? :\

I was volunteering at a children's museum and this Chinese man asked me a question in Chinese and then, because I was learning the language, I told him in Chinese that I only knew a little Chinese and wasn't Chinese. Lol.

Like say this guy you're interested, he's quiet & shy & barely says anything signs on MSN, would you talk to him?
Would you wait for him to initiate a conversation unto you, which he never does?
That first question's got me stumped, ahha. I really don't know, I think I talk to guys that I like more than guys that I don't like. xP
Really now, guys don't always have to make the first move. I for one say that with experience. You see, back in November of 2008, I added my crush on MSN. At first, I was the one initiating the conversations and our conversations were short and formal. But I didn't give up because I knew it was what I wanted, so I kept talking to him first on MSN. I also started sitting by him at lunch during school. I had to do a lot of advancing first. And the result of all of this? Well, we once chatted for 6+ hours on MSN = long talks on MSN, I'm not the one starting the conversations now, we sit next to each other on the bus, we talk on the phone, he's driven me home a couple of times, we've held hands, hugged, etc. So you see, it's all about making the first move first. (:
No one is a mind reader so it's best to just go for what you want, not waiting for the other person to do it. :]
Don't wait for the other person to talk to you, why not just click on their name and start the conversation? It's not that hard! Maybe keeping a conversation going might be a challenge, but you can do it. (:
