  1. Lee Minho swarmed by fans [VIDEO]

KUALA LUMPUR: Neither rain nor thunder was going to hamper the dreams of fans of South Korean heartthrob Lee Minho from catching a glimpse of him.

The actor, 28, was in town yesterday for a brief fan meet, held outside the front entrance of Pavilion KL.

Just before he made his appearance at 6pm, it had begun to rain but fans who had waited at the spot for several hours refused to budge to find cover.

When he finally showed up, thunderous screams were heard from the throng of fans outside the mall, and also those inside.

“Selamat datang!" Lee greeted the crowd with a gentle smile.

“Even though it is raining, you still come to see and support me. I'm so thankful for that."

Lee, who had flown in on Thursday night, was here to launch the South Korean restaurant Kyochon outlet at the mall. He is the ambassador for the franchise in Malaysia.

Dressed in a pair of grey slacks, and a light grey shirt, he presented Kyochon calendars and took commemorative photos with some lucky draw winners. This marks Lee's sixth visit to Malaysia.

"Malaysian fans are so warm and friendly. That's why I always enjoy myself when I come here. Malaysia is beautiful."

Before he parted, Lee said that he would like to come back as a tourist and visit interesting places in the country.

"Saya cinta kamu," he said, to the screaming fans' delight.

Lee is one of the biggest stars in South Korea, having starred in highly-rated drama series including Boys Over Flowers, City Hunter and The Heirs.

He recently completed filming the China-Korea-financed action comedy film Bounty Hunter, set to be released later this year. http://assets.nst.com.my/images/articles/lmh1.transformed_0.jpg

Kim Joo Na added shedding tears, “I was upset. It’s a misunderstanding. It’s okay to speak ill of me, but bringing up my parents… I was so upset.”

She continued, “I wanted to become successful with my music, but I came to be known as someone’s sister first. I want to be recognized for my abilities rather than trying to clear up the misunderstanding. I really want to show everyone that I can make it alone without anyone’s help.”

“Produce 101” is a program featuring 101 female trainees from 46 different entertainment agencies. The viewers become the producers in selecting contestants to form a national girl group. The viewers will determine the concept for the group, group name, and the debut track.

  4. Jun Ji Hyun To Star With Kim Soo Hyun In ‘You Who Came From The Stars’ Sequel?http://www.movienewsguide.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/jun-ji-hyun-750x400.jpg

Will fans see Jun Ji Hyun and Kim Soo Hyun in a “You Who Came From The Stars” sequel?

Hallyu star Jun Ji Hyun will welcome her first child this coming February and it seems like she’s not just looking forward to her birth as reports say that the actress and soon-to-be mom may also be considering a “You Who Came From The Star” sequel! Will she reunite with Kim Soo Hyun?

According to KDrama Stars, a Korean media website named OSEN reported that the writer of the popular alien-human–themed romantic comedy Korean show is planning to make a new drama with Jun’s talent agency.

The site reported that the rumored new drama might be a sequel which means that Jun and Kim might have a reunion!

All KPop reported that the sequel has been previously discussed. There were even reports that Director Jang Tae Yoo admitted that he actually planned to create a follow-up for the alien-human drama, which only makes it more possible that a continuation might be filmed sooner or later!

Aside from that, if you still remember the flow of the story, the drama already opened a “plenty of possibilities” especially its finale. By the end of “You Who Came From The Star,” the lead character had an unexpected twist. Kim’s character Do Min Joon was able to travel back and forth between earth and his planet and this possibility could be explored if a sequel will be created.

“It is possible to make a sequel although I will have to talk with the scriptwriter,” Jang said.

On the other hand, there are also other possibilities that can be considered, since he’s immortal and he’s appearance don’t change even after centuries of living, he could also be partnered to another actress living in a different timeline or even to Jun’s possible new character.

“Do can be portrayed through diverse eras such as during the Joseon Kingdom, Japanese colonial period, or in the ’70s. Maybe Chun Song YI (Jun Ji Hyun’s character) might not be Do’s first love. I want to make it if possible,” Jang added.
