    I have some questions

    1. in a Korean culture, during a funeral/wake when a man wearing an arm band (like JH worn) at the crematorium ...is that only for male relative only or son? -

Based on what I noticed in the dramas, the female relative wear that black Korean traditional attire. So, women don't wear those arm bands. Also, the number of lines in the band signifies the relationship between the wearer and the dead. If it's 3 lines, it must be the son or the father of the dead.

    2. we talked a lot about using banmal & jondaemal... is it very crucial in the Korean society to use that proper tone/words... quite hard for foreigner like me to grasp the language because I don't know if I have offended someone using banmal...meaning if I were to learn Korean, better to use jondaemal all the way? - If you don't know the person you are talking to, better use the formal speech. Especially if it's your first time meeting that person. People might think you are rude if you are speaking banmal to them. Only talk banmal to someone you are close to and younger than you.

(man na du kwen cha nasseo) Literally meant "To meet was okay?" but there cld be many interpretations based on the context. She cld hv meant (1) JH, being the son of the man who murdered her late husband, was it ok to meet her mom? (Just like JH's mom don't dare to look at MyeongHee noona) (2) My mom was ok (physically and emotionally) even after meeting JH, the son of the man who murdered her late husband? I think that's why JH followed with "뭐가?" (mo-ga) As in "What (was okay)?" But she dismissed the immediately and hence JH knows something is wrong. I haven't watch ep 16 with subs but I think this part can be interpreted differently by different subber.

  3. I agree with you, guys. JCW is definitely the best hugger in K-dramaland. I've been watching Kdramas for around 8 years, and I've seen hundreds of them (i watch all genres) but only JCW can hug a woman like that. You can feel the emotion even if he won't say a single word. I must admit, a few actors can do it as well. But, JCW is better. His eyes...his gestures....he's DAEBAK!

SO! i just read a very upsetting review on a blog, about how older actors are now casted to support the so called flower-boy young cast.. it highlights Healer as the first example, and then, OF COURSE, Empress Ki as the second example (OH?! WHAT A CONVENIENCE COINCIDENCE!!!) seriously the owner of this site has been spewing hate for JCW ever since..

As much as you all here know, i LOVE both of our MALE LEADS and it never came into my mind that YJT's part will be somehow neglected just because to support JCW's romance line here.. Lets forget EK case because the writers were going cray cray and makjang all way down there.. I believe this is not the case here.. and JITae oppa KNEW what he's doing when he accepted the role.. he has been bringing a depth to anger, frustration, guilt, and HE IS FREAKING AWESOME when he's delivering the news as star reporter! I am afraid am being biased because i love these two, but i hope most of us here share the same sentiment..

i mean, not everyone has to agree that JCW is awesome or YJT is awesome.. of course some people dont like them.... but at least we should have faith for the writer to do justice to all characters and casts to do their best in portraying their parts..

  5. By the way, where's Daeyong? At times like this, Team Healer 2.0 needs all the help they can get. Since JH is worried about YS's safety (as seen in episode 15 wherein he left YS in the police station to take on his mission), then he could ask Daeyong again to trail YS to make sure she'll be fine. :x

'Healer' Park Min-yeong mistakes Ji Chang-wook for murderer

On the 16th episode of KBS drama, "Healer", Chae Yeong-sin (Park Min-yeong) witnessed Seo Jeong-hoo (Ji Chang-wook)'s crisis.

Chae Yeong-sin was shocked to find Seo Jeong-hoo's father, Seo Joon-seok was a suspect for the case of her father, Oh Gil-han's death. Seo Jeong-hoo promised he would clear the false accusation on his father, Seo Joon-seok. Seo Jeong-hoo went to see ex-police officer, Park Dong-cheol, who recorded Seo Joon-seok's statement.

Although Park Dong-cheol told Seo Jeong-hoo he had the tape with Seo Joon-seok's statement, he was actually going to trade with Kim Moon-sik (Park Sang-won) over the tape and Seo Jeong-hoo.

Choi Myeong-hee (Do Ji-won) eavesdropped Kim Moon-sik talking on the phone and asked Kim Moon-ho for help.

Jo Min-ja (Kim Mi-kyeong) became aware of the situation and called police. Kim Moon-ho along with Chae Yeong-sin ran to Seo Jeong-hoo, but it was too late. It was after Kim Moon-sik's subjects had already killed Park Dong-cheol and had run away from the spot.

While Seo Jeong-hoo was with Park Dong-cheol to hear his last dying words, he encountered Chae Yeong-sin, but he had to run away to avoid police. Chae Yeong-sin found Park Dong-cheol dead and mistook Seo Jeong-hoo for a murderer.

  7. Writer-nim and PD-nim are spoiling us with hugs and kisses every episode. Kamsahamnida for making us Healerities happy in the midst of the angst that was brought to us by the cliffhanger.
Edit: YOU WILL GIVE US ANOTHER HUG AND KISS NEXT EPISODE, RIGHT?
Thanks in advance. I hope you are reading this thread and this comment.

(I am suspecting that someone from the Healer staff is a member of this thread, if not stalking this thread, to know exactly what international fans want from Healer. Because so far, they are giving us what we really wanted. =)) )

    Note: Edited as per @dandelionJ 's suggestion. =)) =)) =))

Hopefully they don't rush things in the end.

Also, as far as I remember, CYS knows that healer/JH does not do killing things.... hopefully, she remembers that.

  9. Don't worry, guys! YS is with MH. If ever...just "IF EVER" she starts suspecting JH again, there's MH to save him. But I really doubt that YS will suspect JH. NEVER! I believe she trusts him enough! I believe the incident will trigger YS's memory about what happened in 1992. I want to sleep well tonight so let's forget about the last 5 minutes of tonight's episode and patiently wait for next week. While we wait and try to survive the week, let's go back to the first 10 minutes of episode 15 and take pleasure in abusing the replay button.

  10. JH being framed? No...please writer-nim. Jebaaaaaaal! He was framed once. Don't do it twice. Though his Teacher had confessed that he's Healer to clear JH's name, framing him again isn't right. The sacrifice of his Teacher will become worthless if he will be framed again. Also, Detective Yoon doesn't believe that Teacher is Healer. So, jebaaaaaaaaaaaalll..

  11. I don't think YS suspects JH as the murderer. She was just shocked! I think the pole reminds her of the guy who went to their house when she was young. That's it! She doesn't suspect JH. Have faith in YS, guys! YS is not an ordinary girl. She had proven that already. Also, they were warned by Myung Hee beforehand that JH will be in danger. So, it's impossible that she will suspect JH.

  12. YS and MH are talking about the past. If I'm not mistaken, it was during the time that YS and JH are still very young and he used to babysit the two. Omo! Who can translate it? It seems they are very happy talking to each other. It's a good thing YS trusts MH again...of course, because of JH.

Meanwhile, Myung Hee has wiretapped KMS? OMO! This is DAEBAK. Myung Hee, welcome to Team Healer 2.0!!!! :-) She called MH to warn him that JH is in danger.

  13. I've watched episode 15 with eng sub earlier and I was wondering if Jong Soo knew that PBS is also there. The translation of what he said goes this way, "They left without me again." Is it really "they"? I remember YS and BS left him also after their undercover in the presscon. Or was he thinking that the other guy was not PBS because he's wearing the Healer outfit and JS is busy taking the video and didn't notice who's the guy next to YS? MH had already mentioned that PBS is on leave.

  14. I think the reason why YS is not asking questions to JH is because she's just waiting. Patiently waiting when will JH tell everything to her. Like what her foster father said to her in the previous episode, he just waited for her to approach him. So, that's what YS is doing. She's giving JH all the time he needs until he can tell her the truth. Especially at this time that he had just lost someone precious to him. If I'm YS, I'll be doing the same thing. ;)

, i've nooticed that many  below average dramas had good ratings because of the lead actor, he's famous due to previous dramas  or he's a successful singer , so when  a new drama is released with his name , people  eagerly watch it because his name is famous and popular enough to pull the
crowds , regardless of the quality of the work

jcw is a new star , he hasnt achieved that status yet but he's on the right track
i think lots of people don't know him yet or havent reeally noticed him so thee preefered to watch other dramas on monday and tuesday :)
