After watching the youtube video with Kim Jimin as KJK's best friend guest, I was surprised that NHC and HSC gave KJK a look and said Welcome when Jimin said that none of KJK's best guy friend knew anything about any of the women he had dated. HSC gave KJK a long knowing stare and said Welcome and that is pretty telling. So maybe we are all wrong, he is not dating SJH or YEH, he is dating a buff dude.

Hey Jjongaholics, did you watch the special episode for Girl's Day one find day ? Yura mentioned that Okinawa reminded her of Bali and she had massages in Bali and they kept complementing her white skin.

Dubai is a beautiful country and goes to prove that oil money can work wonders to even a desert. As for the win, it was kinda expected that Jae Suk should win as the country has an association with Grasshoppers. As you can hear tham saying Il Woo has won two times on RM so they were making sure that Da Hae gets a chance. In this show everyone is a winner as it is kind of like a paid holiday for the members and guest. I was wondering why we never see KJK-Haha-JIW team until very late into the game. They seem to concentrate more on JS-SJ-DH team and than KG-KS-JH team.

It will be nice to see Yura on a regular program. But she is quite a good actress I wonder why the company is giving more acting opportunity to Hyeri who I heard is not very good but I can't give an opinion since I don't watch her dramas. Maybe Yura has always expressed her ambition is to be a great home staying mother rather than a star compare to Hyeri who has to work hard to support her not well to do family. So a company will always weigh their marketing money on the one that will earn them income longer and harder.

Running Man Korea has been very active with their fanmeets in China but I don't know if there is too much of a good thing and maybe being typical fickle audiences, they might have switch to another show given the wide variety available locally as well. But China is a huge huge country. Which part of China did they film? Running Man could be very popular in some states but not others. So don't worry too much.

Running man maybe stalk our forum. haha. They seem to have gone back somewhat to their original roots which was punishment and balls and name tag ripping which some forummers here wished they bring back. Maybe as long running (pun intended) fans of RM, we enjoy the reminiscence of their earlier episodes which we enjoyed very much. We have also grown older with the members, I watched some old clips of the really early episodes and I have seen that actually some members have looked older eg. Jae Suk and Haha. even the beautiful Ji Hyo. Only Kwang Soo now look his age when in the beginning he looked much older than his age. which makes me wonder and fear how much longer they can run given that Suk Jin has pushed 50.

Was watching their Taiwan interview and they were asked to draw their ideal type and Yura got tease for drawing a guy with a mole and she said he is smiling and I checked Yup, her ideal type is still Lee Seung Gi cos when he smile, he has a dimple below his left side of the lip. And Yura always says she likes a nice guy and we know Seung Gi is always known for being very nice.

Jjonaholics all by now know the classic line of HJH saying to Yura to not just follow any one the world is a scary place or something to that effect. As every one who knows Yura understands that her ideal type is Lee Seung Gi and the line that Jong said was actually a line from Lee Seung Gi's drama My Girlfriend is a Gumiho when Lee Seung Gi warns Shin Mina from just accepting food from any one (this was when the second lead guy treated her to beef). So Yura who is a fan should recognise that line fromt the drama.

@klent .... In episode 183, the fortune telling one, one of the guest whose husband is a director. She called him for one of thr segment, during the conversation, YJS humbly asked the director to looked on LKS who is their maknae and up and coming actor! If that is not looking out for him than i dont know what is. Furthermore, Gary almost quit the show but YJS talked him out of him and tried to make him as comfortable as possible as Gary was torn between doing variety and music. during healing camp, he felt he had sold out by being in a variety show which his hardcore fans objected to. I do wonder if you are a running man fan. You keep throwing ratings as a end all and be all that this show has lived it's usefulness and should have its demise. Their fan meets overseas are no joke. But if they are not popular in korea than maybe there is no point. for the moment there is no variety show like running man in nature and as long as they are bringing in the bacon, the shareholders wont complain right. Anyways i will just continue to talk about running man episodes, that is what brought me here. You can throw all your ratings and analysis nobody really care, cos at the end of the day, the show must go on until it ends and when it does, all this debate and discussion dont mean a thing.

After watching the latest episode and the rantings on this forum, I decided to reminisce the earlier episode and i chose episode 8. And i was laughing my balls off if i had balls. And maybe that is why we enjoyed the early episodes their interaction were mixed with an awkwardness that was charming. The dissing felt real even the teasing. Because We know they are very close like family now, LKS picking on KJK just does not cut it. They are good exercise buddies off screen. And the early period like first 10 episodes, most of their guests were kpop idols! Maybe that explains the popularity and why it exploded very well in Asia and later the west. I believe it is not SJH or KG or KJK is not participating, it is YJS is extremely popular in Korea and they will edit to give him more screen time and Haha is YJS protégé so he is just ad libbing from him and LKS and JSJ popularity started in RM especially overseas so they need this day job. Even the other running man members have dissed the PD for his favouritism to YJS. even if you watch infinity challenge or happy together, the emphasis is always on YJS. He is the mainstay of most program he is on. And as for song ji hyo not putting in enough for variety, i think that is the beauty of running man, we have the comedians, the mc, the old idols, actors and actresses, but when we watch running man, they can be themselves.take episode 8, victoria of fx did an aegyo cheer for her team and when ji hyo's member demand her to do a cheer, it was so awkward they told her to stop. Jihyo just dont do cute. So that is why they tried to intro Lizzy. Lee kwang so was a rookie maknae who is gawky and old looking which they look out for in the early days. They must have advised him alot on changing his image overtime to become what he is today, betrayer giraffe. I also enjoyed the early punishment episode but maybe it is too cruel to be entertained on other peoples suffering so the pd decided to reward them instead. Everyone will have their opinions, wecould be watching the same show but our interpretation wil be very different. So hope everyone just enjoy the show aslong as they are able and willing to do such a difficult and physically demanding show for our viewing pleasure week after week. Even some guests who came on realise how tiring it is and regretted coming on the show. Some guests enjoy the games so much they return again and again. Let's enjoy together and support your RM bias whoever it is but without putting down another precious member who might be dear to soem one else.

@gingerschnaps....Long time no talk talk. My ipad screen died. Long story short..i am back. Love that there were so many guest but it was messy and the final game of name tag ripping was unfair. I already know they will lose. If it had been a clash of really 80 vs 92 at once, running man might have a chance but they had to break it up to be even numbers on each side and RM just have alot more women on the team and did you see the sizes of those athletes, jong kook looked like a little boy next to them! Poor jihyo tried her best but was thrown down and there has been no monday couple moments these last few episodes! Like they have been forced apart.

@themarchioness....i understand about the broadcasting restrictions on unpaid commercials but never seen it done by the programs that i watched so far the taping of tshirt etc. like hk, taiwan, china, singapore, malaysia, indonesia etc. So i wonder why they let them wear clothes with brands, might as well wear plain stuff on the show. When i first saw that was on weekly idol and i thought it was for comic effect. Haha. Anyways. Thanks for the explanations.

@gingerschnaps ... Next week we have two wgm wives on the show, seungyeon and joy. Looks like gary will be paired with joy. I think they paired before on RM if i am not mistaken. Have seungyeon become busier after wgm? She is so pretty in the preview for RM next week. And i was surprise suk jin dissed jaesuk and haha as the infinite challenge team. Haha. Jaesuk looked surprised that he mentioned a rival company program on theirs. He tried to stop suk jinfrom going further.LOL. Suk jin is quite ballsy against his employers. Sometimes when other members censor brands on their t-shirts and caps, he is the only one without any tape on his brands. I always find the taping out like like funny. Like in the u.s. shows they will pixelise it but for koreans they just cut budget to $1 roll of tape to do the job. Haha.

@gingerschnaps.... Monday couple are getting too obvious, even the other members did not tease them as much as before like it is a given...making things very suspicious. Gary even said he liked it and did not want to leave when he lied down to colour the colouring book wih jihyo. The other members dont even call them business couple anymore. I think gary must have felt sorry he could not shield jihyo. But they were sitting together in the beginning before the random ball colour game started but jihyo switched places with suk jin when it started. I think if they sat together, Gary would have pulled her together to hide. But wiping her down like that is very personal right...ooo the feels this two. And during the tshirt choosing mission, she was mentioniong that she and gary never matched once...i mean she even bother to notice that and seem to pouted abit about that but during thr random ball colour mission, gary and her got the same colour every three tries, she was a happy camper even if they did not get the consensus. As for the show itself, the feeling whether one of them is a spy automatically comes out. That has been the nature of their show and it is quite hard to brush off the feeling even they have such a strong bond over this past five years. That iswhy they lost to the law of thejungle team in one of the earlier episodes. The teamwork for the lotj team is really commendable because they have to survive in the wild and teamwork is key to survival. Running man members during that time were cocky thinking they wil win in their variety show but because they have been about individual wins and betrayal, their obvious lack of teamwork than stick out like a sore thumb. It must have been a call for them to buck up when they have to work together. Remind me of some early episode when they had to work as a team which became a us vs pd team. Good times, good times.

i was thinking that the betrayal part is scripted so white team will have female counterpart. Initially i think jihyo likes both food, she can't seem to choose. I noticed she was alone in the beginning in that line but just transfer with gary line. When Gary was disqualified, he called her out and she said she was opting between the two dishes anyway. I can really see the difference of their actions from then and now. Before, she stayed as far away from him when he was getting too cheesy. But now they act as a couple. It could be they are for real or they act so well, or they became closer friends than before. Anyway, its cute. Its just happened naturally and no more teasing from the rest of the gang.
Im excited for next week episode. I am reminded of their yooames bond episode where they needed to escape the jail by getting clues. That's when i started to follow gary, when he acted nonchalant about escaping. He said he was tired and probably would just sleep till the rest of the day. He was enjoying his dumplings when he saw the clue from chopsticks. It was so funny because calm gary is the antithesis of the frantic giraffe kwangsoo on that episode.
@gingerschnaps.... Yah, Gary did not even think about escaping haha. He must have been really tired that he rather rest than actively participate.

i know right?!!! Dunno if that was a tongue in cheek statement or partially true haha! Jinyoung was so shocked to know haha! Have you seen how gary said, "this is a responsibility of a boyfriend, getting water for gf". I lolled at him casually giving her the water and how she casually give him tissues like couples do, are they for real like jongkook said? Meanwhile i love seeing jinyoung loveline with him. She is so forward and he was cringing the whole time. The whole episode was fun and light hearted, i love it! I think i stopped in the beach game, i watched it in raw and subbed . Im continuing after the beach scene with sub.
even in the choosing food time when Gary ended up alone, he aegyoed (if there is such a word, haha.) ji hyo to eat together with him. He could have asked Haha or suk Jin but he asked ji hyo and she relented and came over although I think she wanted to eat what haha and suk Jin chose. And she automatically clings onto his arm now. And even when she betrayed him ( ironic cos they promised not to betray each other anymore during the haunted school special ) she was worried how he is doing alone. But as suk Jin said, if she do that, Gary will get more air time. Lol. What they will do to get more airtime! Haha. Jong Kok has a soft spot for Jin young even if he cringe at the aegyo but he seem to enjoy the attention and flirtatious nature of Jin young. He was smiling and protective of her, if that was bong su I think he will definitely betray the team and flee hahaha. It is a nice farewell show for eunhyuk, although he is quite the motor mouth he was quiet here maybe even shy. But he could showcase his dream team talent. I mean he was not running, he was flying! And getting to keep all that prize must feel good. Anyway he won't be alone in the army, Siwon will be there too. Haha. They must be dreading losing all that precious hair.

Even Gary was putting hints like this is the part where the boyfriend fetched the water for the girlfriend. Hope they are not teasing us right? Can't shake off Im joo hwan character from oh my ghostess! But when he showed his pink undies that was like ROFL moment for me. He is such a hoot. And the double betrayal is typical suk Jin haha moment. All for variety...cute.

The irony of what yurachu said is not lost on me! If she has not mention those account to be frank i will be clueless about such so called haters. Anyway, yura and everyone in kpopdom will have fans and haters. You even get so called fans who will hurt their fave stars like those crazed saseng exo-l fans. So in this age of freely available media info it is hard to police such things. I for one come here cos we get the best updates on HJH and Yura's activities. Everyone love them cos they make our heart flutter during their stint on wgm. They are still friends and only have good things to say about each other. Whether they are together or not is not important but we became their fans becuase of their coupledom. Thank you for making this forum a welcoming place to check on their activities. Wonder what happens to this forums when soompi and viki official join together.

They said TruGary and I just stopped watching.lost my “appetite”. i did not like TrueGary episode. ok ok, I really hate it when they gang up on Gary
i know what u mean. But look at it in another way, Gary got alot of airtime just for himself and it is good for his album promo. Also even he thought he had to stay overnight, he just shrug it off as my album will have only 9 songs. He did mot get angry. In fact he was more upset that his friends did not help him like rap mon not giving him a k. He understand he is not like that and wonder why rap mon will do that and even gave an excuse that it could have been a h. And he hope that they are doing it cos of a hidden camera, and not cos they are not regarding him as a friend. Gary is really some one who treasures friendship. Actually what is the prize for punking Gary like that for the whole team? Sitting by the beach and eating? Makes no sense.

On one hand it is great way to showcase Gary's new album which is doing well on the charts but on another hand, i see the desperation on his face speaks volume. I have never seen peaceful Gary so anxious to do missions. Normally give me the feel that he dont really care about winning and just like to be part of the cast. This episode is different. Rather than using this deserted island for trugary, they really should have taken the pretext of hunger games and fly with that. And since they are with intellects, they can team up to answer question base mission within certain time frames to get tools or survival gear like immunity or something. Haha gave Gary the h understanding as a fellow artist how desperate he must be to high kick him like that for his album final finish. This is a bittersweet episode... @gingerschnaps Looking forward to next week hong jinyoung and kim jong kok love-line. I still remembered in one episode when she appeared and JK blew sand out of her eyes. Haha. And she was in WGM than. Now we can see that obviously everyone in k entertainment know how fake wgm is only clueless shippers just don't get it.

Episode 264 is da bom. Never think an A lister like kwon sung wo will appear on a variety show like RM but he did. Sad that his team could have won but jihyo should not have second guessed her instinct. Wouldn ' t it be great to have won and found out it is your wifey. I truly enjoyed their camarederie but i find alot of shots were of jaesuk and team instead of the guests. Would have been great to see more of their interactions. But all in all i enjoyed it.

i really loved how yura played well in this game. She's not your average chic (jihyo of course is still the ace). Yura is very competitive in wreath and tshirt relay. All groups worked hard to be fair. (Side note i shipped her with seo jun, they look gorgeous, only in this episode lols). Kkuk was a very good strategist. But he just failed in the first game, kwangsoo was unexpectedly good on that undercover part timer. Jaesuk failed miserably due to his striking features lols! The winner for me truly deserved it. It was a fun-filled episode.
its okay if we ship her with any cute lovable guys haha. I just think it is squel worthy their jjongah moments but i kinda accept that they are just good oppa-dongsaeng relationship. I hope Yura will marry well since her dream is to be a great mom so hubby must be someone who will look after her in a manner suited to her needs. Just like jihyo, maybe mr ceo is rich etc but he is not giving her the status she might be craving for. And now i know jong kook is buddy up to more stars, he has his own agency now and he will want some big names in there to attract more stars over.

@gingerschnaps was looking forward to this show because of Yura. I enjoyed their convo in the car when they were fixing her up with seo jun. haha too cute. I even wish to screencap the pass the wreath segment when yura and seo jun were the first couple to do it, so kdrama worthy in slo-mo. Wish they were more inventive like previous university episodes. But this time it is only brute force. As usual jong kook in his real army drill sergeant mode. Is gary and ji hyo wearing couple caps? And ji hyo wore the same wig that gary wore! COULD MC COUPLE BE REAL!!!!

Running man has returned to one of it's original roots where guests can get punished too. It's fun to watch the interactions and I think new members have been a big plus rather than a minus.
