Spoilerdid anybody watch the recent clip? fukkk that was so intense. they've been hinting at even being bipolar, but that moment on Isak's face when Sonja showed up and basically told Isak that the relationship wasn't real and just part of Even's psychotic break... so powerful, such good acting holy richard simmons.
the good thing I guess is that he at least came to terms with being gay and told all the important people... but May be now he'll have issues with his ultra religious mum... hmmm...

my thoughts about the episode and preview for next week.
1. I think it's natural and understandable that Arthit reacts this way.I agree with most people that Kongpope already had time to process and sort through his feelings for Arthit. Arthit now also needs to take the time to reassess who he thought he was, going from somebody who'd loved and probably till that moment still did love, a girl for a very long time must be difficult. It's like a complete 180 in his way of feeling and how he identifies himself.
2. The new haircut comments is hilarious because I feel fairly confident that not a single strand of hair on Arthit's head has changed at all the entire show. lmao especially when he styles it like that, looks almost like he has a wig that he takes off and on it looks so freaking similar. haha
3. Mistake or purpose - the string I'm not sure about. By memory he had string on both wrists and he got Arthit to tie it on his left and in the preview he's taking off the one on the right and there's still a string on his left... so either it's poor editing or I'm just misremembering which hand Arthit tied to.

*Everyone of you are all welcome and I'm glad you like my sub and comments in the episodes. Sorry I couldn't quote and reply to everyone of you individually since that would take me a really long time... and I kind of need to take it easy before getting ready for work. Here are some of my thoughts for future episodes...
1. Yes, in the novel they do go see a movie on this 'date' from episode 9. I don't know if they still will or not, I really hope they do because they both act like they're on a real date during that part.
2. The angst doesn't last long, we all know that, BUT I kind of hope it'll take at least 2 episodes. With that we can clear up the whole Aim/May/Kong issue. PLUS get some PremWad action for people that are craving it.
3. P'Tum and P'Phone's wedding should happen around episode 12-14, If I'm not mistaken there are 4 special chapters included in this series right? If this series ends on episode 16 then they will need at least 2 full episodes for the special chapters. The special chapter 'Fighting for the workshop shirt, Thank the Seniors, The day we walk side by side' is ONE chapter in the book... unless they are counting it as 3? But in the book it is written as one special chapter and it's pretty long. We have the games between the engineers, different departments and in the book Wad is in Chemical Engineering, so his team plays against the Industrial Engineering team. Kongpope doesn't make the last shot and is devastated, but of course no one blames him. Darn, I don't want to get into too much detail.. but it's a VERY long special chapter, that is why it's taking me a long time to translate. LOL! Yeah, that's what I should of had just said.. It's a long special chapter.
4. In the novel Kong knew that Praepailin was a lesbian since the Star and Moon contest. During the REALLY long special chapter, Arthit gets kind of jealous thinking that Kongpope likes Prae.. and Kongpope also gets jealous thinking that Arthit likes Prae! In the end, after their kiss.. Kongpope tells Arthit that Prae likes women... imagine Arthit's face..
5. Scenes I'm looking forward to....
- OF COURSE the bed scene where Kongpope confesses to a 'sleeping' Arthit!
- Kongpope trying to return the books/comics to Arthit but once Arthit grabs it Kongpope won't let go. (I WILL CRY FOR SURE!)
- Kongpope getting the last pink milk at the drink stand, but gives it up to Arthit then walks away without saying anything else.
- When they take photos at the wedding and Arthit keeps looking at Kongpope! And eventually pulling on Kongpope's jacket without realizing it.. and trying his best to talk to Kongpope, but Kongpope tells him to stop. (OUCH!)
- Arthit and P'Tum's conversation at the wedding that made Arthit running around looking for Kongpope! (Ahhhhh!!!)
- Bridge scene where Arthit points out all of his own 'bad' habits, but Kongpope saying he knows them all and he can accept it.. then... Arthit's 'answer'!!!
- Kongpope's cheesy lines coming back.. 'concentrate in class' meaning Arthit better not just be spending all his time thinking about him! (I died here when I read this the first time.)
- The last scene from the actual novel itself, excluding the special chapters, Arthit giving his gear to Kongpope. Asking Kongpope to take care of this for me. (I was reading this at work and scared my co-worker when I started curling up into the fetus position in my chair!)
- Kongpope coming for the interview and meeting a senior in the bathroom!
- Everything about the Thank the Seniors party, Arthit telling Nott everything, the romantic card from Kongpope, the bracelets from Arthit, the announcement of their relationship from Arthit to everyone, and finally Arthit using his wish from winning the bet to confess that he loves Kongpope!!!!! Oh and then of course they kiss!!!!
- The bus stop scene where our love birds take turn being cute to each other. Arhtit whispering "Kong, I miss you."!!! Kongpope begging Arthit to spend the night with him!
** I'm done for now... I've given up my life to SOTUS... I don't care about getting ready for work! LOL! J/K.. I still have a good hour left before I have to get ready. Gonna go make some coffee and re-watch ep.9!**
your spoilers from the books give me actual new life lol
I've been at my brothers wedding this weekend so I had to wait till now to watch the new ep. so much cutenessss. I feel like Arthit already knows of Kongpope's feelings, the gear giving may as well have been a huge neon sign lol

it's probably way too much to hope for a bi character... but I'm open to being happily surprised!
on another note - does SOTUS return 12th or 19th? I've seen both dates floating around, so I'm not sure anymore.

when I look at these pics, I think even though Krista is shorter, he's more built. For my personal preference, I find Kongpope quite skinny, like he's got that skinny Asian build.... when I look at them I really feel that Krist is the "top" based on their body types...

Tonight's clip though..........sigh. Even many times proved he lies and manipulates....but I didn't think he could stoop so low. I feel awful for Isak, he doesn't deserve this. He doesn't have anyone there for him now..not only his parents rejected him, but he feels that everyone rejects him and he's living a nightmare. Now the clues could be interpreted as pointing to self-harm too
One thing is good......we don't have to wait a week like with regular shows, an event could happen at any moment on the site. A week of waiting with this cliffhanger would be absolute torture

That speculation sounds too lakorn to me, but Skam is not a soap opera so I can't see that happening haha. The story is realistic - the earlier seasons have real world conflicts too. There is a lot we still don't know about Even and whatever is going on with him must be big, it won't be simple or clichéd, I doubt it. A mental illness of some sort that he's battling with..that's what I'm assuming for now as well. It's hard to guess when this show has been unpredictable for now. I worry about all the hinting of death / a final break-up too but I hope they won't go there since it's in our face, way too obvious
I agree that with Sotus we'll get something half way. I think it'll be a very chaste kiss, like a peck on the lips, but I think cause the guys are older and more comfortable with each other that it'll seem more natural and less "staged." I would be pretty happy with this kind of outcome.
SpoilerI don't know the series at all, so I don't really know what direction it will go. Just from the dialogue and the way they portrayed Even's character, it seems most likely that he has some intense issues that hopefully Isak will help him through.
I hope as well that Isak becomes comfortable with himself and can be open about being in love with a guy. That way we don't have to listen to anymore misguided homophobic comments like what he said about the dance teacher and about Eskild.
I'm keeping the Skram discussion in spoilers just so we don't take up too much space in the SOTUS forum haha

I think the Asian countries are way more conservative, I think even hetero couples don't have make out scenes like we have in western countries. To my greatest disappointment, I find the kiss scenes in Asian dramas sooooooo awkward. Especially when they pause with just the lips touching....
SpoilerDid you watch the latest episode of Isak/Even with the text message? People are commenting maybe Sonja sent it, but I think the comment Isak made about being better off without mentally ill people in his life struck a nerve and that Even has some deep issues we dont know yet. what do you think?

I was mainly looking for asian GL stories or maybe tv series. If I'm being honest, I already watched all of these movies haha I know most of the western stuff already ^^ I can recommend two more if you don't know them, they're made-for-tv movies based off books from one of my favorite authors - they're called "fingersmith" and "tipping the velvet".

This makes me want to visit Japan. Is there anyone from Japan here? Let me know your thoughts and if there are there other movies you could recommend. Something to kill the waiting time. But honestly, this movie just made something more than that for me. I just caught myself crying..
If we're sharing Japanese BL stories, then I think Seven Days: Mon-Thurs and Fri-Sun are probably the best movies I've seen out of Japan. I'm not a huge fan of the "uke" actor but I think the "seme" actor is amazeballs in this show. His acting feels very natural and sincere, it's why I loved this movie the most.
I've watched a lot of gay storylines outside of Asian countries, so if you guys ever want any other recommendations let me know.

So I have a question for y'all. I know we're all here because we love BL stories, but is anybody here interested in the opposite - Girl Love? I actually really love both BL and GL and I'm wondering if anybody here knows of any good shows for GL? I followed the dao/koi story from Hormones and I know there's a bit of a love triangle between Melon/White/Om in Part time. I've already watched the famous Yes or No movie (the second one SUCKKKEEEDDD).
Any suggestions for others?-

I'm wondering how much the relationship is genuine on Even's part. Is it really a result of his mania or did/does he sincerely like Isak and it happened to coincide with or enacted through his manic stage?
I have no idea where they're gunna take this story now... Is Even just gonna go on medication and disappear? Is Isak gunna just find another boyfriend? he's so young and the first guy he liked enough to come out to all his friends and family and the relationship might have been a delusion... that's richard simmons tough breaks for a young person to process.
