"Old goodbye" portrays the man, who lost his passionate love like fire, takes a time slip to the past, and meets his ex-wife at the age of 27, 17, and 10. He falls in love again, but his love is very "old" love. Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara take a role as Soo-hyuk and Chae-hee respectively on this drama. Soo-hyuk, the former boxer and living tough life but dying for love, is played by Jang Hyuk. Jang Nara plays a role of Chae-hee, in the age span from her teens to her 30s. The new chemistry of Jang Hyuk and Jang Nara draws viewers' attention.
