I remember they did a Cf together in the past. Considering they are in the same agency, there is more chance of them being together in a project. I’ll be satisfied though even if they appear together at the end year award. Just hope they keep contact with each other.

It’s bittersweet to say goodbye to It’s okay to not be okay. I had such a good time watching this drama. Kim Soo Hyun just proved his acting once again and I’m so glad he got this as his first drama after military. I’m even more impressed with Seo Ye Ji. All her previous project although not very popular and not appeal to the general public, display her excellent acting skills. Thanks to this drama I truly discover such an amazing actress. I am amazed when watching interviews of the cast and truly surprised when they explained their character. The 3 of them interpret the characters so well and have such good chemistry together. This is truly a healing drama for me, the way of storytelling with each episodes with a book is such a creating and clever way. I m impressed how much those fairytale and book teach us. I hope to see all 3 of them more in their future project.

I love episode 11 and how they reflect on all those previous episodes. How Mun Young got a cut on her hands and how her CEO got money from Juri. It shows how much character development in a similar situation. Then when Sang Tae asked Gang Tae if he have eaten. To ask someone if they’ve eaten was what Gangtae usually do to Sangtae . It shows cares and love. In contrast, Mun Young used to say she’s hungry. Somehow relate to how much love she wants. To recite what Gang Tae told Mun Young ‘that boy really is not hungry, what he wants is love and warmth (from his mother)’
Recently people have been suspicious about Park Ok Ran for being Mun Young’s mother as well as the head nurse as the prior was too obvious . Park Ok Ran has too many similarities to Mun Young (saying she wants something and being manipulative to Mun Young). She is either Mun Young’s mother or have some connections with her to be able to know so much. Although I don’t think the head nurse is Mun Young’s mother, to me she is also suspicious and a questionable character (or it could simply a coincidence).
The most touching moment in episode 11 is probably when Sang Tae realised Gang Tae is happy. I remember Sang Tae said Gang Tae whine at night when he sleeps. We always see Gang Tae hides his emotion and always appears happy to not worry his brother. But Sang Tae would watch Gang Tae’ sleeping and that’s when he showed his true emotion. It’s like a twist when we thought Sang Tae is not good with reading emotion yet he knows how Gang Tae felt. And despite pretending to be happy Gang Tae could not hide with true emotion.

Finally. Since watching episode 15 I worried that the ending might have been a sad ending but instead I felt relieved instead. The fact that it is an open ending is much more meaningful for me. It just shows how much sacrifice and love Chansung has for Manwol. I finally understand what Mago said about the price Chansung has to pay. For Chansung to be left behind and remember about Manwol is the the heavy price he has to pay but also a blessing. His love for Manwol is probably the reason he will continue to move forward, the time he spent with her is so precious that losing any memory of it will make his life so empty. Chansung has always been a righteous character with optimistic mindset. He will live the rest of his life treasuring the memories and keeping the promise with Manwol so they’ll see each other again.
I’m satisfied with the ending and how they wrap up the story. Loved how I can see Chansung and Manwol ties. When both Manwol and chansung asked why Mago chose chansung, the answer is Mago didn’t choose but chansung chosen it himself. It was fate that brought them together in the past and once again in the present. Chansung has always been destined to save Manwol.
The look Manwol has on the bridge, the fact that Mago revealed they have ties left, comfort me a little bit knowing that they will see each other again.
Last, many asked about the physical romance not present in this drama. Although i wished To see more romance scene, kiss scene of our leads, the natural of the drama seems like it’s not appropriate for those kind of thing. Especially when Manwol loved for 1300 years, and chansung is such a mature guy, their love is more like of an old couple. Their love is more of empathy, understanding and sacrificing. Putting any more physical intimacy scene in could make their love shallow.
Although I would love to see Chansung and Manwol with a happy ending and seeing them enjoying their life without worry about death and parting, I can see why the writers chose this opening ending.
Let’s just hope IU and Yeo Jin Goo meet again in different drama in the future and give us their amazing chemistry, happy ending and lots of physical romance that we all want.

Some of us here seems to sympathy with Chun Myung and feel bad for his love as well as being tied with the tree and ManWol for over 1000 years. But for me I thought the story line was perfect. To me Chun Myung is like those first lovers that you loved, hated, got good memories with, bad memories, things that you want to remember and things you don’t. But at the end those first love aren’t the ones you end up with your whole life.
ManWol love for Chun Myung is probably the shallowest kind of love. It’s just the fluttering moment when you feel. But for Chan-Sung his love is totally different. He is not only the one that teach her how to love again but also the ones that change her into a good person, teach her how to forgive. He accepts her for who she is, willing to go to hell with her. And I think what touches her heart is that Chan-Sung ( a weak human) wants to protect her.
It doesn’t surprise me that ManWol didn’t choose Chun Myung. In fact, when Chun Myung died he said “this is the end of us”. It’s really the end of their love. 1300 years later when they said that line again, not only their the end of their love but also the end of their hatred and the end of their ties. To ManWol, Chun Myung is already her past, Chan-Sung is her present. Perhaps if she didn’t meet Chan-Sung, things would have been different. But as she loves Chan Sung , she no longer love Chun Myung anymore and her love for Chan-Sung was what makes her give up on revenge.
Many also feel sorry for Chun Myung for the decision he had to make and that he was wrongly blamed as a traitor but for me it’s still not wrong that he betrayed ManWol. He killed people that she treasured the most. And at the end he decided to die on her sword. To me he is the most pitiful and also the most selfish person. And I’m sure that’s the reason why ManWol forgave him. Because although he did cause her pain, the excuses that he couldn’t say, the fact that he tied with her for 1300 years means he already paid for his wrong doing. He already had his punishment.

For some reason, I don’t hate the character Han Soo-jin. It interests me that this drama portrays such a realistic character. I love Han Soo-jin at first for how she is such a passionate, hard working and stubborn at the same time. She is a strong woman who can do anything for her daughter. At the middle of the drama, when she was hesitant of letting go of coach Kim, I felt frustrated. Indeed her stubbornness becomes her weakness, seldom her to see a situation in a different view. She was confident that her family would not get ruined since she thought they was diffderent from Young Jae’s family.
and at the end when she decided to tell the truth, it wasn’t for Woo-Joo or Hye-Na either. It’s was for Yeseo. To be honest, we all want to see a character that acts right all the time like Woojoo’s mother but human tend to be selfish and self centred. It is hard to truely be selfless and sacrifice your family to someone else. I really appreciate the writter of this drama to create such complex character.
I wonder what coach Kim wanted to say to Yeseo’s mother and is Hye-Na really Soo Jin’s daughter. To me ep 19 seems like the ending episode already. So ep 20 is probably a twist. When everyone thought Yeseo’s family will have a happy ending, the birth secret will probably turn them upside down. Maybe the birth secret was coach Kim’s final card and she was successful this time to make Yeseo’s family ruined.

wow this end of ep 9 was mind blowing. Hand down the writer. First time seeing a drama with so many plot twist. I still can't believe they make it into a dream as if they've never met. I think Kang Chul will somehow remember his lost memories in the next few episode.
I do feel sad for Kang Chul when he found out that he is a manga character though. People making, creating his misery life just for entertain but he have to suffer it for real. And that feeling that although his life is miserable, it was just a lie, a joke, it's not even real.
I also wonder how this would end. if Kang Chul go to the real world and live with Yeon Joo. it would be a happy ending. I wonder if he will decide to leave his world (his friends) for her. But what about the people in the manga? I feel sorry for them not knowing anything.

thank you angelangie for posting the ost. I didn't know IU can sing the song in chinese so well. I remembered the original drama was sad ending. I am wondering if it will be the same for this version or will they change the ending as most korean drama now have happy ending.

I like how JH asked HJ when they first met again that if she is married or has a boyfriend. since DOTS, i like a straight forward relationship more. And this is the first time I really watch park shin hye's drama. I didn't really like Heirs, I love how her character in this drama has such strong personality.

As I watch more, I hate Seol ri and Ji eon more. If she and Ji eon love each other that much then they should make it clear (divorce with Hae Kang) instead of having the affair. They didn't know how hurtful it would be for Hae Kang to be betrayed of. As for Seol ri, when she and Ji eon was having the affair, she was shamelessly criticise Hae Kang for the fall of their marriage. Now Seol ri miserable comes (Ji eon father disapproval, bad mother and sister in law who look down on your background + her insecurity with Ji eon). She finally understand how hard it was for Hae Kang to live with that family. And it seems that no matter how hard Ji eon tried to protect her (HK) from his family, it won't be enough as Ji eon wasn't able to protect HK from the insults from his mother anyway.
Seol ri began to feel insecurity when HK appear again because she knows that she never really get a hold of Ji eon (he never love her).
Seol- ri will have many difficulties in the few next episodes and people might feel bad for her. But for me, if she was bravely enough to be in an affair then she should expect difficults. She did something wrong and it is what she's going to get back.

Hi. so somehow I get hooked up with this drama. and reading your comments all saying how bad Ji uhn is. And I think he might not be that bad (I haven't have sub yet). Of course, I don't think cheating is good but there are circumstances that you feel empathy to a person. (I don't know how their daughter died) I guess he blame his wife for their daughter's death. Hae kang is not a good woman either. The way she went to court and probably frame the wrong person => resulting in the person's death. I am sure that she got hurt the most the her daughter died. But it's just sad for her to see her husband having an affair.

Yes it is really hard to maintain the relationship in the k entertainment industry. especially they are both celebrities. Aside from busy schedule, they have to deal with the stress taken from public. In dating, the only reason a couple break up is because of themselves but if you are a celebrity in korea, anything can affect their relationship: stress, scandal, paparazzi (people watching their live).
The fact that our couple know each other for a long time make me feel relief and at the same time worry. They have a strong foundation but what can guarantee when something goes wrong? All I hope now is there will be no scandal or negative rumours anymore. -
Well, there is nothing wrong with hiding their relationship. Especially at the moment when he is having another drama (it would affect the drama if he announce his relationship). Even if there is no drama or responsibility, celebrities in korean still do not want to reveal their relationship since they want to date freely without paparazzi. Also, even if there is rumours, if it is not solid proof, the agency can still deny it. Looking at it, the only time when the couple go public is either:-they are going to marry soon-caught by Dispatch (having solid evidences)-their relationship is really stable that they will definitely marry the future
also, a Lot of K-celebrities also don't want to reveal because you don't know if the relationship will end up with marriage and if that couple separate by any reasons, they will both suffer (and female usually have it harder since in Korean society). -

Is Dong Wook still in that show? Rm is not doing good right now, the rating is not good end up with 3%? can't believe that PD was the one in strong heart (the most popular variety show). I don't watch RM but is LDW on the show often now? cause he is have a new drama and I guess he can be very busy. I wouldn't surprise if he said he won't be in season 2 since he has to do iron man. but if he is still on the show then it's ok. Just hope the fresh start for the show now that they cast quite famous and popular celebrities (the one who might be able to save the show). I am still debating if I should watch that the season 2 of that show since one of my bias will be there.

No I think that korean drama popularity would depend on the script and how well actors executes their characters. Although, there are some actors and actresses choose their role and act quite well making you think that they have a large fans base (Moon Chae Won , since 2008, all her dramas were quite successful). Being idols or not doesnt really help, I remember Yoona (snsd) drama love rain only got 6% while snsd yuri drama fashion king (Shin Se Kyung is lead) got 6-8%. Also the drama with Sooyoung doesn't really have any idol except her. The male lead is in his 40s a huge age gap. I am not sure if he is respected actor in Korea or not but male actors determine the rating a lot since audiences are mostly ajumma.
So in conclusion, there are still hope that IM can be successful. People just worry because all drama with Shin Se Kyung are not that successful recently and the male character usually experience hardships (some died). Although she is pretty, her role and acting is not good (just the same type of character everytime: pretty, kind but born poor and overcome hardships and found a prince , which is boring type of character for the audience).
Let's hope the best for IM .

Haha, those pictures again. Whenever I see this, I feel so sympathy for those guy at the back. DH and DW both seem so comfortable displaying their affection in public but it is so uncomfortable to others. haha it's not like those boys can move nor look at their hug intensely nor smile nor making expression about that. haha Seulong is definitely in awkward situation though. But I think they must have done that a lot during HK filming seeing everyone is so calm (when the two hugging)
The reaction of Seulong and the actor behind just show the differences of a hug between friends and lovers. If the two are friends, you'll look at them hugging without feeling of embarrassment. But if they are lovers, you just want to turn your head and run and give them privacy, if not, a better way, to look at something else and pretend you don't see a thing. -
Finally, we're able to see Dong Wook's fashion. Not only boring suit anymore. But I have to admit he is one of the actor that looks good in suit. He can wear suit and being handsome, intelligent and sexy too. Of course, we can't forget shirtless moments.

It makes me sad seeing no news about DongHae. I just really sit here waiting for them to get marry but it feels like forever. But then whenever I open soompi and look at my profile pic of DongHae beach selca and seeing Da Hae's smile (that kind of truly happiness), I thought it's ok, I can wait. it's just a matter of time.
I'll see roommate just to know something about Dong Wook's ex. I wish to see his sister too, she must be beautiful. Dong Wook ah~ your younger sister is already married so you should think about yourself for once, do what you couldn't and start a family of your own. -

OMG so Lee So Ra is out of roommate? That show is seriously in trouble. Now that they only have 3 female in the house, the male and female ratio is unbalanced. I think they'll goings o have to cast a few female members and what would be more wonderful if tht person is Lee Da Hae. Dong Wook is really close with the PD after all. I cant believe that the PD was the one make Strong Heart. Strong Heart was so sucessful compare to this.

It's been a long time. Though I haven't post much, I have been reading this thread from time to time and keep updating any news about DongHae. I am so happy to see this thread keep moving.
On a side note, I can see how people think about their honey moon in Hawaii. And what? Why is LA related to Hawaii? Haha that only happen in DongHae thread. Haha. We are so desperate. Lol but the thought of two people. Alone. On an island. What are they going to do? When there is no way to go inland? They'll going to look for shelter, and find an old house owned by an old couple. What happen is that there is only 1 room left and Dong Wook, as a man should be, give the only room to Da Hae. but it is so could outside the room (that the person might die due to cold weather
and so Da Hae was being nice and keep Wookie inside and they have no choice but to share the room. And now the room only have one bed...OMG stop. I should stop. Sorry, I am having so much drama recently and can't keep myself from imagining this. We all know that this is the most norm situation in kdramaland.
I have to go back to reality :-O Hawaii is a BIG island and it is harder to find an old house with only one room left than taking a star from the sky. And if they meet, they would be having a holiday in a resort near the beach ... STOP ok. I am having too much imagination. I won't ramble anymore. The rest is up to you to imagine.

It’s so frustrating seeing all these kind people die and suffering yet the evil ones are still doing whatever they want. I don’t know if Rona die but if she is, it’s a cruel punishment for Oh Yoon Hee just because she killed Min Seol A. I really hate Rona at the beginning of season 1, how she was such a brat to her hardworking mum but she doesn’t deserve this.
