@pinaycliza The reason why I'm doing subs is because I realise that if there are new fans who come along, it'll be nice for them to see these stuff. I think everyone has been through the phase of combing every single YouTube video possible for their bias. Especially since there are very little subbed videos of Jang Nara going around. And if there comes a time when the fangirl in me dies, I guess at least I contributed a little, haha
I hope the fangirl in you won't die because you're such a great resource and really appreciate your translations. That's probably the reason why I want Nara-ssi to continue being active because new fans are discovering her and old fans are re-discovering her. If her momentum slows down, chances are she would be 'forgotten' again like when she left for China. I must admit that even if I've been a fan of hers since SSOBG days, I wasn't able to follow her during her time in China and kind of lost that 'flame' as a fan. I hope she'll continue her activities in Korea and I agree with @bjharm, that she should do a movie next. I think she is capable of making a box office movie if only with a good script.

Happy New Year everyone! Still can't get over JNR winning 3 awards. So happy for her \:D/ She made 2014 awesome! I hope she'll make more dramas next year...I was thinking at SBS maybe? since her last drama there is SSOBG. On a side note, when I heard Shin Dong Yup was the MC for the awards show, I can't help but be reminded of Nara's several guestings at SDY's shows before. JNR was really active at variety shows when she's promoting an album.Like this at Happy Together, where he tried to get a kiss

Found this at DC. Seems like the director of FTLY, then JNR with her hair up, and JH wearing a red jacket are having dinner. I'm thinking this might be before the event or after as a celebration for both the actors success. EDIT: they are at the rightmost side of the picture.

Thank you for all the updates :x So happy Nara-ssi is collecting awards at MBC \:D/ I think since BFB, she has won best actress for all her dramas/mini-series. And so happy she won best couple with Jang Hyuk, it's long overdue. It flashbacked on me when they both received top 10 best at SBS awards in 2002 and now they're both receiving awards at MBC in 2014.

Thank you for bringing that up @bjharm. That is true, Nara-ssi is one of the first generation hallyu stars and opened the gates for Korean entertainers to enter the lucrative Chinese showbiz industry. Whenever I see news of Korean actors/singers doing movies, dramas or concerts in China, Nara-ssi has 'been there and done that'. And even if she is not as active like before in China, I believe she already has cemented her name in the Chinese entertainment industry and able to sustain her popularity over there all these years.EDIT: In regards to the resentment about the 2009 issue in Strong Heart, I don't live in China to know if the resentment is still there. But I think it has subsided or forgotten as more Korean entertainers are now entering the Chinese market. There's still gonna be anti's who will still find fault in Nara-ssi but they're not the majority now.
@hankitae42 I saw your post about the Nara Bank last week. Funny that I was in New York last week then tried to find where it is. Too bad, my schedule was a bit busy that I wasn't able to pass by the bank LOL. But yeah, that bank is in Manhattan in NY. -
I was watching this clip of BFB poster shoot. Jang Nara always says that she remembers things quick but also forgets them quick. At 2:30, Choi Daniel was relating his first appearance on TV in a Jang Nara Pepero CF as one of the extras...I love his surprised reaction when Jang Nara mentioned that she remembered him as one of the guys carrying the heart. Jang Nara might be present in Korean TVs everyday in 2002...This is her as an MC for MBC Music Camp (Music Core nowadays) with Ji-Sung (reminded me of him when 'Heal Me, Kill Me' was mentioned). I believe she was an MC here for about 6 months or so. This was in April 2002 and she is also doing SSOBG and New Nonstop at the same time.

@anopinon I could see a lot of comments are really favoring JNR for the titular role. I hope MBC and the drama producer consider her as first choice in casting. This role just fits her like a glove...like BFB. It would be interesting to see her play a mom of a 15 year old. She actually did a great job at School 2013 so I think she can also pass as a mom to a teenager. Her playing a high school student is already given and no question about that. I just wish it will really happen because JNR deserves to have a title role again.

I don't know if this can help but mbc classic youtube channel have all the episodes for new nonstop without subs. There are some episodes subbed that are still not blocked by youtube or mbc. I could PM you the links to the videos because I hate to compromise that JNR fan's account because she made the subs by herself and youtube and MBC are blocking the videos for copyright issues. Then for other blocked subbed videos from YT, I found copies still existing at youku. You just have to search under JNR's Chinese name.

It seems that in the recent dramas that Nara-ssi did the kiss scenes...her character usually initiates the kiss
Like here..in BFB...Soo-Young initiated the kiss before she said goodbye to Jin Wook
Then here...in FTLY...Mi Young kissed Gun first
