'Pinocchio' breaks its own record in viewer ratings for its finale

According to AGB Nielsen Media Research, SBS' 'Pinocchio' achieved a 13.3% viewer rating for its finale on Thursday, which is a 1.4% increase from its viewer rating of 11.9% and 11.3% viewer rating for its 18th and 19th episode, respectively, aired on Wednesday, breaking its own record in viewer ratings!
MBC's 'Kill Me, Heal Me' dropped 0.9% from a 10.3% viewer rating on Wednesday to a 9.4% viewer rating on Thursday. 'The King's Face' also dropped 0.5% from a 7.0% viewer rating on Wednesday to a 6.5% viewer rating on Thursday.'Hyde Jekyll, Me' will premiere following 'Pinocchio' next Wednesday!

Rounding up its intense, but realistic series, SBS′ Pinocchio came to an end on January 15.
The drama ended at the top of the ratings chart for its time slot with 13.3 percent, reaching its highest number since beginning on November 12, 2014.
Pinocchio, which was introduced as a story between a man who lives with a fake name and a woman who cannot lie, addressed not only the story between two people trapped in a Romeo&Juliet-esque romance, but also the world of journalism and its realistic issues that have been spotlighted in the past year in Korean society.
The drama played out various social conflicts and the different ways the reporters addressed the issues, either covering them up with money and power or revealing the truth against all odds. The drama paralleled reality, making a strong message hit viewers.
Not only was the story strong on its own, the drama′s staff provided the best quality production, not distracting viewers with bumpy transitions or forced stories on the side. Every single actors who appeared in the series also held their own, convincing viewers to enter into their world and live in it for the past three months or so.
Expectations were high for Pinocchio as it was written and directed by writer Park Hye Ryun and director Cho Soo Won, who worked previously together on another hit drama, I Hear Your Voice in 2013.
Depsite having immense pressure to top I Hear Your Voice, this team somehow managed to satisfy viewers with Pinocchio to a greater length, only making them anticipate what this drama duo will bring the next time around.

She acted lively as if she was next to audiences without being awkward and looking like a glamorous star in all acting scenes for its doll-like appearance and stereotyped image.

In ‘Pinocchio’, there were hero and heroine that went through hard times due to the ill-fated relationship with their parents’ generation. Park Shin Hye that has positive and healthy charms showed image as ‘the queen of tears’ through her explosive emotional acting at these kinds of heart-ending moments.
She is an actress that has firm acting ability since she has been acting since her childhood. She heated up audiences’ hearts every time she showed herself crying in dramas starting from ‘Stairway to Heaven’. She also has clever talents of knowing how to act a plentiful emotional acting by using all her facial muscles such as using her forehead and cheeks when she cries with big tears dropping from her big eyes. Actually, there are sharp evaluations on an actress’s acting ability if she is pretty, but Park Shin Hye has power to embrace the entire generation going beyond the limits with only her acting ability. This is why further activities of her, who is still in her 20s, are being more expected.

'Pinocchio' tops in viewer rating again
SBS drama “Pinocchio” proved itself as the top drama again with high ratings for the back-to-back episodes aired on Wednesday.
According to Nielsen Korea, episode 18 and 19, broadcast on Wednesday, scored an average viewership of 11.9 percent and 11.3 percent respectively, clinching the top slot in viewer ratings among Wednesday-Thursday dramas.
With attention growing about how the drama will end, the finale episode will air Thursday at 10 p.m. on SBS.

Park Shin-hye's OST album for "Pinocchio"
The official OST album for "Pinocchio" is being released.
This OST is sung by Roy Kim, K Will, Yoon-ha featuring Tiger JK, Zion-T, Kim Bo-kyeong with a creamy voice and other great singers in Korea.
The album also features Park Shin-hye in a voice so desperate and affectionate.
11 songs make up the album containing music director Moon Seong-nam's personal score songs as well.
"Tears In The Crowd Strings" is all about the brother-ship and pain between Ki Ha-myeong (Lee Jong-seok) and Ki Jae-myeong (Yoon Gyoon-sang) and four other scores represent "Pinocchio".
These 'score' songs will reminisce on Ki Jae-myeong, Ki Ha-myeong's family story and the destined relationship between In-ha and Dal-po as well as the lives of the appearing reporters.
Meanwhile, the "Pinocchio" OST will be released on the 15th on MNet, Melon, Bugs, Olleh Music and more along with posters with album purchases.

:D PSH is very proper, pure and real. There are many beautiful actresses out there but their beauty fade over time. PSH beauty shine from her personality. She was very calm and a true perfectionist. She was girly at times but very down to earth in person as she appeared on stage…pretty cute :x :x

The mere fact that she was not there to provide “fan service” but was there to get to know her fans and have a friendly conversations and being honest in expressing her concerns, plan and goal…etc. we feel her . She has great etiquette and we can tell that she really stands her ground with questions that were being asked by fans regarding her ideal type, her education, daily activities and having a private life as an actress. She is super super active and have a very out-going personality because she loves many sports. She mentioned that she loves to travel but her schedule was too pack. She told us her schedule after the US fan meeting and it sounds pretty crazy. Fans asked her about her dating status and she has mentioned that her goal was to complete her senior thesis and she sounds a little concern due to the many projects she have in 2014…Does not seem like she have time to date. She seems like a private person when mention about “dating”.After meeting PSH in person, my friend and I agree that PSH is not the type of person that would display her affection to the world if she truly loves the person…unless she is going to get marry with the person than she will make that announcement.
Anyhow, she did mentioned that she wants to do an “action” film or drama before she reaches 30. Hope this comes true in 2015 :-bd

yes, she is so popular. so many people interest to know about her more. that's why i'm a bit worried if she take too much time for get out from her role in drama.. she will miss chance when the drama still hot for getting spotlight like others do..
for exp, i think woo bin agency is smart. he was the first one who made FM after The Heirs. it was succeed whooping more than 10.000 fans. and now he is planning FM in Indonesia, if i'm not wrong they planned it in next March when The Heirs just aired in Dec, and sometimes still has re-run on saturday and sunday in one of the mayor broadcast station.
i hope shin hye take chance after filming pinocchio to gain a bit more spotlight for her. but yes, she is just as you said.. she is too good.. she doesn't care much about fame. what she care is if she has time, she would like to meet her fans.. to get closer with fans. but, if time more effective she will get both her fans and drama fans to attend her FM. i'm sure she can capture their heart and have them to be her loyal fans.. but if not please do more interview or photoshoot.. of course, i hope shin hye rest well or take vacay after filming. but, please don't missing for whole month like last time. i will miss her so much... -
