  1. I think Jung So Min wil still be in season 2. The actress playing the role of Naksu will be in season 2 but only in flashbacks.

    Mu Deok is Bu Yeon.

As Bu Yeon/Mu Deok's body still lives, the questions are:

    (1) Did Bu Yeon's soul actually transfer to Naksu's body? Or is it still inside Mu Deok/Bu Yeon' s and is just asleep and wakes up only when needed. Naksu's body was cremated. Even if it was not cremated/burned and switched with another body which was the one burned, her body already died and that will surely have begun to decompose. There is no way they can retrieve that body and Naksu being able to go back to it even if they get their hands on the ice stone.

    (2) When the soul shifting occured as Naksu's body was dying, Naksu's soul shifted to the blind girl's body (Mu Deok later on revealed to be the missing Bu Yoen) instead  of the girl Naksu initially chose.

    (3) When Jin Bu Yeon was in her mother's womb, she was already overstaying in it and the possibility that the baby is dead or dying is very high. Her mother went to  Jang Kang for help and the latter used the 'alchemy of souls' to help the child be born without a hitch;

    (4) The ice stone is believed to be in the palace and in the hands of the soul shifter queen (shaman choi resides in the body of the queen). And yet it has never been shown to be in her custody.

    (5) In a flashback Bu yeon is shown handling the ice stone in a body of water and supposedly dies from drowning. What really happened here? Did Jin Mu get the ice stone? the writers still need to explain what happened and how it is believed she died, obviously her body was never found. How did she survive? Does she have amnesia? Who adopted/raised her after they found her almost dead??? or did she live on the streets?

    (6) Jang Kang taught Jin Mu how to use the 'alchemy of souls'? How come Jin Mu needs the soul ejectors? Naksu did not need a soul ejector to soul shift! or did she?

    (7) Mu Deok/Bu Yeon evidently has stron powers. When they were testing whether the fake Bu Yeon was really Bu Yeon, Mu Deok/Bu Yeon opened the doors of the Jinyowon from far away without touching the doors or beng near it.

    (8) Where is the ice stone? Is it inside Mu Deok/Bu Yeon? When Naksu used the 'alchemy of souls' to soul shift, did it awaken the ice stone inside of Mu Deok/Bu yeon and the blue mark hid in her eyes enabling her to see.

    (9) The ice stone is supposed to be able to stop Mu Deok/Bu Yeon/Naksu from going wild and petrifying. However, if the ice stone or a fragment of it is inside Bu Yeon/Mu Deok/Naksu then she will never go wild nor become petrified.

What did Jang KAng actually do to the baby (Bu yeon) when she was still in the womb?

    (10) what exactly is the 'alchemy of souls'? Is it a magic spell? Naksu is believed to have mastered soul shifting so how did she do it without a soul ejector? Jang Kang seems to be able to do it too so many questions.... can the drama show how and what it really is? [or are we just lost in the translation of the story from korean to english language?]

    (11) Mu  Deok's body is weak, she should be training her body alongside with Jang Uk to make it stronger. Being physically weak will not help her fight though she is smart and uses her brains most of the time to outwit the others.

    (12) What is Jang Kang's problem? why put himself on exile? Leaving Jin Mu to use the 'alchemy of souls' to forward his agenda? in cahoots with the shaman.

    (13) If Jin Mu discovers that Mu Deok is the real Bu Yeon, Mu Deok will be in danger. Will Mu Deok/Bu Yeon regain her position as the eldest daughter and future leader of Jinyowon?

    2. On CCK, as early as episode 3, he already vowed to destroy the Ri family. What is CCK's hatred towards the Ri family about? I don't think it concerns only his career in the military or that it's a typical poor hating the rich bec the Ri kids had it all easy growing up until getting into the military bec of their privilege. The way he seethes with anger as he reveals his plans to the military director to destroy the Ri family, I think his loathing towards them is personal. And it's not directed towards one particular member of the Ri family, like RMH, whom he murdered, but to the entire family itself.

If I am not mistaken, RMH (RJH's brother was murdered because he discovered the illegal activities within. The illegal activities and corruption which Cho Cheol Gang leads and which some officers/higher ups are involved in (the graft and corruption involved).

The plan to ruin the family of Ri JH, I think is just a collateral decision. one of which is the military director who wants the postition being held by his father. While CCG I think is he just hates rich people being poor and an orphan. It just so happens that they became involved with one another due to the discovery of RJH of CCG' being the murderer of his older brother.

  3. I am afraid the ending will be one of those endings that leave you hanging and disappointed. No closure at all. Which I hate very much.

However, it would really be totally awesome if the writer is able to make the ending a believable one in which Ri Jeong Hyuk and  Yoon Seri are able to stay together in South Korea, married and living a happy live with kids.

But of course, this is wishful thinking since how can a North Korean be able to live a peaceful and legitimate life in South Korea without his family who are left in NK and will undoubtedly be in danger or be killed. Unless they all defect to SK :o the plus 5 hahaha.

Ri Jeong Hyuk can also fake his death, why not? and be able to stay in SK with another identity (but this is still living in fear and for sure many will want to divulge that secret for their own ends so not reall feasible.

I hope the ending will be a good one with closure.  Hanging endings are just for movies with sequels and  is so not acceptable with dramas.

  4. The actors/actresses of "Crash Landing on You" is doing very well with their acting. They are able to portray what would be a dreary and gloomy life on the other side and were able to make it lighthearted. The storyline is fiction after all  although details of  real life  used and recreated  were reseached very well.

The impact of a drama is very relative and is not the same for all viewers so one cannot say that life on the other side is being glorified.

Because if you think about it realistically, what kind of life would you rather have? There are only 2 sides to choose from. In reality, when hardship comes to fore no matter how much two people love each other, love diminishes and before you know it, it is gone. Life is hard and everyone knows it. Good if you come from a well off family, but riches can be gone before you know it due to mismanagement and splurging.

What more if a person comes from a well off family and then suddenly becomes dirt poor. At first they will do their best to adapt. But for how long will they really last? So in the end, when you are burdened with no means to provide for your loved ones, and fall into debt without any recourse, hell breaks loose.

This drama is interesting in itself, I just hope that the real world does not politicize it and ruin the viewers' love of watching dramas in general.

I hope the writers and the production staff as well as all the actors/actresses continue to do their job well and give us the viewers a beauriful and well remembered drama for its merits. And of course a beautiful heart wrenching fluttering ending.

  5. I also like this drama. It is really better to watch pre produced dramas,

However I would like to comment on the physical state of Lee Joong Gi  I noticed that he seems to be very very thin (underweight) Is he dieting too much to look young?   He may be overstepping it. It is not too obvious in the drama since their costumes are loose and uses  up a lot of textile/cloth. In an SNS photos I saw in KBS WORLD on tv he was shown with another actor and he really was awfully thin. I t even thought that his head was photoshopped on the thin body. If this is so, then he really is very very thin as  you gain  10lbs in photos as well as on TV.  Just my observation. I hope he and the people around him will take notice and give more attention to his health as well as those of other actors and actress in the entertainment business.

  6. What I fear most is the fact that the cheating ex husband is doing the same/similar things to HK what he did for the sly fox. As I have mentioned before, a cheater will always be a cheater and what he did to the wife he will do to the subsequent relationships be it a new wife or girlfriend. Having  done it once it is easy to do it again. It only takes just that one time to remove all inhibitions and fear of doing something bad that makes it easier the second time around.  It is very clear that he has not learned from his mistakes and is making new ones  i.e. he refuses to let go of the sly fox because he does not want to hurt her like he hurt HK. But he did hurt HK even before their child died.  He hurt her when he married her and left her unprotected in the clutches of his family.  She had to survive and in order to survive she had to prove her worth and in doing so had to become what she was before her amnesia.

In reality, (a) many women (not in today s generation since divorce is outright available and easy to get) even after being cheated on by the husband still accepts that husband back, And there is this saying that the husband always goes back to the first wife.  (b) And other wives, pretend to not see (turn a blind eye) the cheating why? because the husband is a good provider......money speaks. (double standard) (c) others they just don't care at all for as long as they can do what they want.

But in this kdrama, I still don t want HK to end up with the cheating husband. I would rather she stay single or marry another guy. Having children is no longer a priority. She is already almost forty and by the time her child is 20 she will be sixty. As to BS I am leaving my mind still open. He may have valid/legitimate  reasons for not telling HK the truth about the things he has discovered. I am curious as to why the writer has never mentioned anything about what transpired after he rescued HK. Did he bring her to the hospital? She was covered with blood and for sure  had some physical injuries. What did the doctor say? Is his keeping the truth from HK have anything to do with this?  In the four years of amnesia it seems HK never regained  any bit or pieces of memory? Why? maybe she is subconsciously  suppressing  it not wanting to remember the painful memories she has buried.

  7. I would rather have HK have an affair or relationship with another man rather than an immoral/illicit relationship with her ex-husband. Because if she has an immoral relationship with her ex-husband, what does that make HK? And the cheating ex-husband would not really get hurt because he still won her. What I want is for the cheating ex-husband to really hurt. and he will hurt only if HK/YK2 has a relationship with another man and  she rejects all his advances towards her. That will really hit the spot! And for as long as the cheating ex-husband yearns for HK and not  able to win her  affection that will really hurt and SR will also hurt a lot since the attention is not on her but on another woman ( the ex-wife). I hope HK/YK2 stays loyal to BS while still she is  suffering from amnesia that way she keeps her dignity and righteousness after all she  hates cheaters and gathers evidence against them for a living. It would be contradictory to her beliefs if she herself becomes a cheater.

  8. @claudia ximena JE better not ask HK/YK2 to be his mistress that would be the worst thing!!! and YK cannot lower and demean herself that way no way!!

I agree! HK/YK2 has not entered into a love nor  an intimate  relationship with BS even though he has proposed to her for 902 times. Why? because she knows that she has not regained all her memories. And entering into a relationship when you barely know yourself is a no no. I for one will not agree with the writer if he/she suddenly makes HK/YK2 into a mistress or enter into a forbidden relationship with the cheater ex-husband.  YK2/HK  is a smart person and hates cheaters. She spies on them and gets evidence to prove their sins  She has been doing this for the past 4 years working with BS.

So I don t think HK/YK2 will fall into that trap and enter into a forbidden  relationship knowing very well that SR is his woman and that they are a couple (even though YK2/HK knows that the 2 are both cheaters).

Another scenario: She enters into the forbidden relationship  after  gaining back her memory and does it for revenge (without getting into it physically i.e. sex ) well maybe........ but I don t want her to belittle herself by doing this even for revenge, She has been a better person since she lost her memory, and doing something bad while she is in her amnesiac state is such a drastic turnaround from her pro social justice character and good self.. She can however, leave him hanging, following her around, asking her for forgiveness  and her love but never really accepting it  Just like how she has not accepted BS for the past 4 years. It is more hurtful and more of a punishment for the cheating ex-husband as they have a history.

And just thinking that she would enter into such a relationship with the cheating ex-husband is repulsive. Not only does it signify on his part  that she has forgiven him but also YK2/HK on her side will be cheated again by her husband because she is still in her amnesiac state and really does not know anything of her past. No memories to speak of and entering into such a relationship without really knowing herslef is a grave mistake. She has been protecting herself all these years just to be taken for a fool  again?  I hope the writer will not do this to HK/YK2 character.

If  HK/YK2 and JE are going to get back together in the end, then she will eventually revert back to her old self as she will again have to work for her ex-father in law and the company. I don t really think that that is the best ending. No matter what happens, JE and HK/YK2 should not end together. After all that had transpired in the past and in the present, even though the love may be there, the circumstances and the people around them will still be the same and the end result still the same and definitely  the relationship will NOT be the same as the hurt, anger, pain will always be there in realistic terms. She may eventually forgive but can not forget.  People learn from their mistake and those who do not will commit the same mistake again and again.  Martyrs not allowed.

  9. @jadecloud  Ep 11 - Opening Scene - HK/YK2 And Her Accidental Encounter/Reunion With JE. Her Heart Beats For Him Involuntarily.
Can a Heart Remember Even If The Memory Fails? Hmm...?

My observation and comment on this:

I believe that it was more of experiencing a very strong emotion evoked by the snowball rather than her heart beating for the cheater.  She shed a tear while looking at the snowball. It triggered some sad emotional memory.  If you watch the scene their interaction was very casual. The emotion she felt was not from her encounter with the cheater ex-husband but rather from the snowball.

@jadecloud Ep 11 Ending - Does HK/YK2 remember Who JE Is?
His name seems to ring a bell...

My observation and comment on this:

I believe that the recollection of his name is not so much as to the past relationship but  from the time that cheater ex-husband called BS law  office inquiring about DHK, he mentioned his name then and BS asked DHK  if she knew the caller of which she replied in the negative.

I guess if you put it in general terms, the heart does remember even if the memory fails..... just as we  who are not amnesiac remember good and bad  feelings from certain scents or smell. places, and people who remind us of something  but cannot place where and when or what the event or occasion was.

At this point in time, I think HK is only remembering emotions from objects and similar events (such as the mini concert at the mall) but not from the people who hurt her. Maybe she will start to remember or regain her memory when she  sees people, things or events that make her feel good or happy.

Edit: Correction: The item is called  snow globe rather than snowball. Had a momentary lapse, getting old. I knew at the back of my mind that it was wrong but then did not want to dwell on it too long. thank you @jadecloud for using the right term.

  10. I was wondering.....how come in the plot summary it is the wife in her amnesiac state is the one who falls in love again with the hated husband? When is is evident that from the actions of HK and from what she said to her father-in-law about loving her husband, it is obvious that she did love him in her own way. And basing it from the many  comments earlier regarding their analysis of HK's character/personality.

And she also did let go. As the saying goes, if you love someone you set them free which she did. She is of no use anymore to the husband and she heard and saw him throw her away. It is useless to force her way into staying married to someone who does not love  or care for her anymore.

So my take on this is it should be the husband JE who should fall in love with the wife again. It was him who fell out of love. He hated her so much he could not even stand being near her. He even committed adultery just to put emphasis on the fact that he is done with HK.

I would like to see him at the opposite side of the picture ( in the future, after four years) when he meets amnesiac HK once more and this time he is the usurper going between HK and BS relationship. He becomes the SR in the BS and HK relationship. And since HK"s biological clock is ticking and to make the story more realistic and chaotic, HK and BS at this moment in time   already have a child or 2 between them. They are not married since HK lost her memory and they instead agree to get married after she gets back her memory.

This time ex husband meets ex wife once more and the girl looks so much like his ex wife and   falls in  love with her  and does his best to  get in between the two, HK and BS. HK and BS relationship is strong and does not crumble however the ex husband is crazy  and causes the problems plus comes along   SR at the sidelines trying to get back JE.

This would make for an interesting story......... but of course only in my dreams because the writer has his/her own version.

  11. @lmangla  i agree with you as regards to the fact that HK inadvertently  pushed the' crushing' into a full blown affair. I cannot blame HK for this though, because she simply reacted how a wife would and she did it with dignity. How would she have known that the end result would be the complete opposite of what she was aiming for. She was trying to prevent  it in the first place. What is not forgivable is the husband who in coming to realize that there exists a girl who likes him, took advantage of the situation by responding to the girl. As what has been commented here the husband is a grown man, an adult who is many years older than the girl, so he should know better. Even if  he is subconsciously  or intentionally doing this to spite his wife it is still not acceptable behavior because in the end all of them get hurt.

Another issue I find unthinkable is the fact that in the plot summary, HK falls in love again with the husband. I am thinking who in his right mind would even fantasize falling in love again with your  cheating husband/wife even in an amnesiac state?. It would be okay if their relationship was very good even before the amnesia but to use amnesia for a person to fall in love again with someone who has caused you so much pain  and upon regaining your memory back all these hurt and cheating comes back to mind and knowing that you fall in love with the immoral jerk during your amnesia how sad and painful can that be.? wow I cannot imagine how on earth anyone will want that situation. More pain coming.....

I really really want HK to have kids of her own and not end up taking care of someone else s' child even if  it is her own niece.

  12. @jadecloud i think it is their culture. they would not bring it up in the dramas if it is not. I don't think it is  exaggerated either. The victims  are under the control or have a person of authority over them, who take advantage of their position. They may be conservative but behind the conservativeness there is a perversion which some  are unable to overcome. But this also applies to  other cultures. Sexual harassers are present everywhere, and they don't stop because no one is stopping them. This drama wants to send a message (lesson) that in being silent the problem will not go away ad will continue . Everyone needs to stand up and fight if they want to have a better life but of course there will be repercussions but in the end other people in the future will benefit from the sacrifice made by another.

  13. If I were in the shoes of HK I would never forgive my cheating husband. Even if we were to stay together (in terms of him coming back to me) I don t think that the relationship will ever be the same since the respect and trust )foundation of a good marriage as well as friendship)  is gone. We may stay together because of the children if there are children or for any other reasons such as family reputation/image or 'whatever' but the relationship will never be the same.

Long gone are the 'martyr'  wives.  And this drama if it goes down the forgiveness route, well what can I say... unrealistic.  We will be needing a reality check here. What's worse if the cheating is a frontal attack like what is happening here, no shame, no remorse, no guilt on the part of the cheating husband and the shameless immoral girl.

By the way I noticed in an earlier episode, and the camera focused on the plastic with written letters and i think numbers where the immoral girl took some pills and swallowed them plus the fact that the other professor was asking her where she is spending all her hard earned money from working part time jobs?  This got me to thinking that this girl who even was willing to give up the scholarhip abroad and be a mistress is actually sick and dying?!  However, even so her immoral acts is not justified still. There are so many other single males that she can go after who are not married just so she can experience love before she dies.If she is indeed sick and dying.

I don't want the wife to fall in love again with her cheating husband while she  is in her amnesiac state. And when her memory returns her pain and suffering comes back, and the happiness and peace she may have enjoyed during the time that she had amnesia would have all gone to waste. What a waste of a drama if this is the set up that will happen.

  14. Watched the first 2 episodes and merely scanned through the next ones...the flashback seems to be too long without much substance. So I am just reading here comments until such time that the drama goes back to the current time. I hope too that HK will get to love again (with the  second  male lead) and feel the happiness she needs during her memory loss ( how long will she be amnesiac? 4 years? it would be good for her to have a child or 2 with the 2nd male lead while she 's in her amnesiac state). Would that really be a shock to the cheater husband ha ha ha and she ll be innocent still of all acts, she can t be guilty of adultery as she is another person entirely. I really don t enjoy  watching 30 or more episode dramas they are usually dragging and lots of useless comedic fillers .

  15. 1. After reading some of the comments.... I am interested in the historical background upon which this drama is based. I hope someone would give more additional facts. 2. I also have a question. It has been mentioned that this drama is fiction but based on historical facts and figures. I would like to know if Shin Yool (the last princess of Balhae in this drama) was also a part of Korean history or just a fictional character in this drama. If however, she is a real historical figure was she in any way connected to Wang So for real? How many wives did he have?3. From what I  know, it was a common practice in ancient times for blood relatives to inter-marry. The purpose was to keep within the family the 'Royal blood' as well as their wealth and power.  And this practice resulted in the appearance of recessive genes. One royal family had hemophilia (inability of blood to clot) as a result of this practice. Thus in modern times, it is prohibited for blood relatives up to the 2nd degree to marry each other. In addition to mental illnesses and physical deformities.

  16. After watching the subbed episodes 15 & 16 here are my thoughts....1. Remember that Kim Moon-Sik has his wife's' phone tapped. Kim Moon-Sik  is able to stop Chae Young-Shin from meeting with Choi Myung-Hee (her biological mother) and brings Chae Young-Shin to Jaeill News office building. He tries to brainwash her by badmouthing both Kim Moon-Ho and Healer (Seo Jung-Hoo/Park Bong-Soo) indirectly/sort of diplomatic way plus (the security head makes a follow up on this, too). Kim Moon-Sik is way past redemption ever since he betrayed his friends and coveted his friend's wife. He did not even bother to look for Oh Ji-Ahn (Chae Young Shin) when he lost her.  He also believes that what he has planned to do now is for the sake of his "friends'".What does he mean when he said he wanted Seo Jung-Hoo to surrender himself and serve prison time for his crimes? What did he do to merit imprisonment? Unless he plans to frame Seo Jung-Hoo. Is that helping your friends' child? He is destroying his future. Teaching to adapt to society? what BS is that? In the first place he already destroyed the life of his friend and their children and he is still not satisfied. Kim Moon-Sik must think himself so powerful and almighty.I hope he gets what is coming to him, karma in a big way for all the bad things he has done and for ruining the lives of many people. The Elder, too.
    2. I believe that Chae Young-Shin has gotten enough explanation from Seo Jung-Hoo and Kim Moon-Ho to know in her heart and mind that those two are good people and that Kim Moon-Sik is the bad guy.3. What did Choi Myung-Hee discover in the office of Kim Moon-Sik?What is behind the hidden panel? She even has placed a bug behind the picture (did she do this it herself? or did she get help from someone?) that enabled her to overhear the conversation between Kim Moon-Sik and his people. (Seo Jung-Hoo being in danger). Her life actually sucks. Sleeping most of the time. 4. Why did the Healer (Seo Jung-Hoo) not wear the ear transmitter so that the ahjumma could have heard and recorded the conversation between him and Park Dong Chul? The ahjumma was even sleeping when she knew very well that the Healer was working and they both knew that it was a trap. Big question. Did she unwittingly fall asleep on the job?5. I am presuming that the death/murders that were committed had to do something of course with the pirate radio station that the group were running in the 80's. That the Elder  and whoever the politician/party he was backing up at the time was inadvertently affected by the target of the pirate radio station at the time. How come only Ki Young-Jae was imprisoned and not all of them? Did his prison time not have anything to do with the pirate radio station? He was imprisoned when? He got out of prison when? Seo Jung-Hoo is older by a month (December 22, 1987 so Chae Young-Shin bday is January 21, 1988)  Therefore she was only 4 years old when the tragedy happened  What happened to her exactly? Kim Moon-Sik finds her and then loses her. She was lost by Kim Moon-Shik when she was 5. What happened in-between? For a 4 or 5 year old kid, she should be able to at least remember her name.  (too much trauma?)   Ki Young-Jae was imprisoned in 1992 or much later? He began to take care of Seo Jung-Hoo when he was in middle school or high school? 6. I hope someone or the writer makes the timeline clearer and give more explanatory details regarding the past and not in installments that makes it confusing. .7. The story behind those 2 cops being fired is hazy and their blaming the victim for their misery is stupidity. The victim (Seo Jeon-Suk) did not do that to them but the people who framed the victim. So illogical.8. I am dreading what Kim Moon-Sik will be doing in episode 17, framing the Healer for the death of Park Dong Chul.... I hope Seo Jung-Hoo was able to get the information where the tape is hidden and be able to get it to clear his father's name. 9. The Ahjumma's case years before being related to the 1992 incident would be too much of a coincidence. But in any case this is a kdrama, and if that is going to be the scenario, I hope the ajhumma retained copies of all the supposed deleted information of that cyber bust they did years ago. 10. Happily Ever After. No deaths please.P.S. More intimate scenes needed between Chae Young-Shin (Oh Ji-Ahn) and Seo Jung-Hoo. I hope she gets pregnant.

  17. Reading about suicide in this thread, I realized that I have known people who have committed suicide and succeeded doing it. You really will never know that they had intentions of doing just that. I believe the ones who are successful in committing suicide are the ones who are already gone emotionally, mentally and physically. They have lost all sense of hope. I had a niece who committed suicide. Before it happened, I saw her for the first time in a long time. She looked haggard and even looked older than her mother. After that a few weeks later we learned she died. (Of course, the reason for her death is kept mum since in our culture and religion suicide is a mortal sin).  I agree with @fantast1ksuae regarding suicide. We should not condemn them or pass judgement on them. What they need is our prayers, that they finally find peace and for those who survived as well.I also know people who have tried to commit suicide and failed. When a person tries to commit suicide and survives, that person has to live with the repercussions of that act  depending on the means used to commit suicide. There is a side effect when you overdose, and it can last for months.Suicide is not an option, but who am I to say so..... we all have choices.

  18.

I agree with @hell59.  A marriage is based on trust, once the trust is gone, love also will be gone. Love and respect goes hand in hand, without the other there can't be a happy relationship. In this modern age, women have supposedly become more liberated in the sense that they can be what they want to be: get the right education, have a career, choose to marry or not.  A relationship when it comes with physical and verbal abuse should not be allowed to continue.  Even with second chances, the chances of the abuse happening again is 100%. It is good that TW has realized that he can never make his wife happy since he himself cannot give up so many things: his family and its ways for one. I guess he can't even imagine himself living away from his dysfunctional family. And the only lesson/message  that I get from this kdrama is: people have different social standings, two people marrying who come from different social statuses) is bound to suffer. If you are willing to suffer then go ahead but if not then don't......think before you take the plunge!

Yes, why three years? The one year when they were together is already too much, she gives up her job, puts up with the MIL's emotional and verbal abuse, puts up with the sister-in-law, do housework/cook, live like a prisoner in that castle, becomes infertile, gets sick, and her  husband TW does not even lift a finger to defend her and now they are asking for three years? They should be put in her shoes so they will experience and realize what she has and has been going through. The comments regarding her being dead during or after that three years is very possible. The husband TW is very narrow minded. For a prosecutor that is not a very good characteristic. I pity the people whom he'll have to prosecute in the future.

Ye Sol was brought up by the grandmother not as a spoiled brat but as someone who has to work for his keep. He has been working and managing the cafe and the other businesses since he was young according to Eun Hui.  I guess the grandmother will not allow the granddaughter-in-law to just sit. She will definitely make her work not in the house but in their business if not keep and continue her job with the broadcast station. The grandmother admires women who work, so if MJ wants to be on the good side of the grandmother-in-law she better keep on working while attending to her husband's needs. The grandmother would never tolerate unjust or bad behavior. She had the husband of Eun Hui fired from his job. So MJ better behave or else she be kicked out. She grew up so different from her mother Ji Sun, I guess the grandmother-in-law will be the one to teach her what life is really about and not just pleasure. MJ is such a spoiled brat.
