  1. I only know well about k-singers' big agencies, but not actor agencies :( All those famous agencies of singers have a few actors and actresses in them, and they manage them poorly I think. There are some comments about actors majored agencies in allkpop article so I search them in google.

Sadly, I can't imagine which one would be actually good for him, haha^^ Yes @petito dear, he says he wants to meet fans with fms but such long-time fm schedules could probably be cut off if he can choose a better agency that don't need much provision from its artists :) Also, I guess Joongi wants to work with an agency that do not have many stars. Ahh... that kind of agency also seems to turn out as money diggers from fans /:)

On the other hand, I think he should work with an agency which can continuously provide him many anticipating acting projects or which can introduce him to be used by famous PDs or directors, esp. from the movie industry. From what i see and @Iris said, cJes seems to be the best for him among them. I don't know much about other JYJ members' activities, but just look at yoochun... he is now receiving much interest as an actor.

Just hoping Joongi could decide a new agency well for his acting career, more acting projects with very less minor activities :x

  2. Thank you @petito dear for TBDW bts clip, yes... that scene seems more dangerous. And the river scene in 2W... yeah, Joongi didn't use them. It's so dangerous, our actor is impressive :xSeems the stuntmen had to do stunts that are minor scenes for the viewers, like the ones shown here for 2W, in fact they're dangerous. But they'd be more tiring for actors who do not know martial arts well, they also have to take part in fighting scenes ;)) The stuntmen are actually admirable. It's poor to see they have to do such very dangerous stunts but I still think Joongi's better than them in the action scenes that need awesome martial arts skills & beautiful swift movements :)Though I'm not sure if it's bcoz the stuntmen require to hide their faces for the actors' sake, Joongi's action scenes are way much cooler and energetic than those stuntmen who are used for some other actors in their fighting scenes :P \:D/

  3. hi everyone

    i want to ask a question :

did lee jun ki undergo facial plastic surgery ; i've just started watching two weeks and i was shocked when i saw his face , he looks different from previous series , he used to have a plumper face , more volume in his cheeks but now he has a slimer face , his cheek bones are more visible ..

i like the old lee jun ki :( he looks less handome now

I notice it that many popular kpop idols and some actors undergo plastic surgery for their shape of chin, almost to the v-line, very recently.

But I don't think Joongi did it. If you look carefully to the shape of his chin, it's always the same. The different thing made to him is the flesh on his cheek. When he's thinner, his chubby face is gone, his cheek bones are more visible and his face seems a little more thinner. That's all, there's nothing different on his chin :) Since he's now in 30s and some ppl above age range tend to gain more weight than 20s, many actors over 30 seems try hard more to control their weight. I think hollywood actors are the same, don't know of many actors about their younger and now image, but I know about tom cruise and johnny depp. Their younger faces are chubby but now their cheek has no flesh, lol^^

Although I liked his cuter face before army, his face now is more handsome and very attractive :x

  4. Btw @Vanni Zae, I was born in 50s, can I be Joon's fan hehehe.

Oh, patoi dear... age is just a number^^ You're great, a good friend and really hang out well with us :)

You also do admin for his Thai family, right? I appreciate to all his fans doing admins or trans for him :-bd

@daegorr I notice that about fans of actors and kpop idol groups. At least our Joongi has fans from all age ranges :)>- :x I started like him as a teenage girl but how can time flies...!! I feel sorry I'm now at 20 :( :-S :((

  5. @patoi @Lusia. Ooooooh so THAT song is called Sweet Memory?! Hahahaha I've listened to it many times before and it's quite nice, I even have it in my mp3, but I never knew the English title was called Sweet Memory. I only know it by the Korean title, which can be translated as "Praise me/you", totally different meaning hahaha

The song names are different for Jp and Kr albums. Sweet memory & the rain are names from Jp album "Deucer" while the Kr album name is its title song "Praise me", haha. I renamed them in my playlist with Kr names but I think most fans are used to the names from Jp album ;))

I like listening to some popular kpop and US songs, and agree his voice is not for singing as a professional. Yeah @petito, goodness... he too knew it :D I just love his voice when he's talking, his voice is my favorite among actors I've seen :x

Though I know it, I use to listen all of them repeatedly for 2/3 days in a year whenever his new songs are released, my craziness :P

@daegorr, @Lusia Lol~ shake hands for rewatching 2W. I even converted the files in my dvd to mp4, also its osts & fanmade mvs, and save them in my mobile to watch whenever I want since I'm in my holidays now :P

  6. Yes, @patoi dear ;)) I'm not korean @grasha love, I'm from Myanmar :) I just listened to his voice, and read the translations of the JG family admins about what he talked in the radio. And his military variety shows were uploaded by korean fans. Those vids are still on youtube with no sub & chn subs, but no eng sub for them. I watch them with chn sub cos I can read and guess Chinese a little since I watched chinese channels too much in my childhood but end up more interested in korean culture now bcoz of Joongi :P

  7. I'm busy these days with school enrolling, transferring house, etc... couldn't catch up with you guys :(

Hmm, so I'm one of Joongi's fans here who waited his 2 years of military deligently, and still love him as before or maybe more :) But it's just recently I found out these soompi threads ;)

I grew up watching C-movies/dramas, hollywood/bollywood movies, and was not interested much when k-dramas began very popular. I watched some but not that addictive to wanna see all episodes.

Later on 2008 end, I saw the ep.1 of Iljimae and hooked much. I started to like him in 2009 beginning on ep.4, he's my first high-school love :P I followed closely about him & his news since then, and made a twitter account only bcos of him♥

I myself experienced the pain for him due to the failure of hero and his enlistment news though he asked for the extension to finish the 2 projects he had signed but wasn't allowed.

Despite those sorrowful moments, he never failed to amaze his fans for his hard works. He received the 1st prize in army training among all trainees, there was over 2000 trainees in his batch :)>-

I didn't cry as you thought, lol~ Cos he wasn't disappeared from us. There's an army channel KFN in korea and I could see him often. His news from army were updated also in other entertainment channels and news so didn't need to miss him a lot. He was a very popular star or even the most popular one in army during his time. We had his radio programs at night and also variety shows during military.

He said he love to talk in radio at night with fans or general viewers after the tiring day duties but he took part in some shows due to the orders though he didn't intent to do them. Thus, he showed the arrogant and shy-to-make-hilarious gestures- personality to the public in those shows while there were other star soldiers with funny personalities like mc boom, actor kim jiseok, Andy from legendary k-pop group Shinhwa, etc. Even his that kind of personality is lovely and fun to watch^^

There's still no star up to date who has more amount of fans gather on the discharge day than his. Even it was a very cold day with about 0* though I feel a little sad that there are fans who left him. But I think while some fans left, there are always new fans he gain for his talents once he's done a new project.

Nowadays, the more popular figures in korean culture are the kpop, variety shows with kpop idols, and younger hallyu actors with good-looks who often do rom-coms. It's clear Joongi is not more popular compare to them but an actor like him will be more appreciated in other big film-market countries like US, china and india indeed. Unfortunately, the famous entertainment agencies and the rating play big roles in korea than the qualities. Their award ceremonies are unfair to watch and hard to accept for many times too.

However, I'm glad to see him now as a stronger guy after military, and he actually doesn't like to follow the popular trends till now, only try for the improvement in the quality of his projects. This year is a rather better year for him than 2012. Last year, A&M didn't have much gap in rating to nice guy but he's not lucky to win awards. This year, it's about double behind in rating to master's sun but he's far ahead to win awards :-bd

I think he's walking his career with intelligence, not to make mistakes by doing many not-so-memorable projects in a year.

There are other his fans for years who don't want him to do many FMs like me. But I still don't think he uses these whole months only for them. There are gaps in fm dates and he will probably learn or do somethings good for his acting career. He seems to be a secretive thoughtful person for me ;))

And of course, he's still the actor I love for why I loved. All he needs now is basically to get much attention from his country's media with his acting in a new project. Hope his great-quality hard works will bring a huge impact soon for him to shine very brightly again to achieve his dreams :x

Two Weeks is chosen by Korean viewers to be one of five outstanding dramas for 2013. Another one not pictured is Empress Ki.

    Korean Drama News and Community

Wow, it's amazing! So glad to see this news :D

Hope MBC will favorably consider many awards for 2W and uri Joongi due to these good effects despite its rating :x

  9. For Joongi fans, we've known quite of his other side in real life through his interviews, talkshows (like mbc golden fishery, sbs healing camp, etc.), and reality shows like JG style & JG World aside from his hard works in the acting projects. He doesn't need to be in tv varieties as a regular member for his fans, as a guest is alright I think. He's okay enough for comedy only with his cheerful or natural clumsy looks (such as in family outing), no need to let his face like a clown to be funny for the variety shows. Some viewers, also the bloggers of dramabeans, usually think they are distracted to the actors from the variety with their characters in dramas or films. It may true for most normal actors but it seems Joongi can actually manage well to change his characters quickly since we fans know he's very playful in break times on the set while he does great performance during filming. His playful side still doesn't distract me when I watch his various expressions in movies and dramas :DYet, of course! His priority is to focus on his acting^^ He too mentioned that opinion about the much exposure of actors' real image, similarly to the dramabeans writers', in the previous interview during china fm this beginning of year. He also said he doesn't want to be in them so often especially to the pubic and general viewers which will possibly affect his acting in different roles. It's better for idol singers to take part in variety as much as they can, and still wouldn't have much problem for veteran comedy actor like cha tae-young. For actors, they may draw new fans with their varieties but it might ruin the image to those who need serious looks for the roles :)
Thank you, Joongi again for your decision this time, with well said reasons!♥I feel ease and care free now~~ :P

  10. Agree you @daegorr about 1N2D, and thank you for translations of star1 mag :)

I'll try to accept his decision even if he joins it since I want him only as a guest for the variety shows. Like daegorr said, this show and its members have both pros & cons for him. I believe he will consider it carefully.

We knows that he's really ambitious for his acting career and he knows how to choose projects to get high impression by fans and viewers (esp. to professionals), he would probably know which decision would be better. He at least won't let his career to be interrupted. Tomorrow is the filimg day so we will get the confirmed news I guess, I'm waiting... :)
