    Unfortunately the terrible news appears to be true. I checked the Dispatch article on naver and the English version available (and posted above) it's pretty much a translation of said Korean one. The only part missing is that the only treatment seems to be surgery. I am so shocked. Speechless. Of course I've known of the car accident with bestie LMH but I didn't expect this aftermath. I am praying for all the best, I wish JIW all the best. You are amazing, please be well!

    Ditto! With the observation that in that case, of an official staff monitoring fan SNS behavior, I as manager, would do it with another account, because my 'official' monitoring could potentially raise more questions or suspicions, which in fact would provide more 'food' for delusional online attitude, thus rendering any efforts to hinder such behavior null. But let's assume everyone has good intentions, as they should, and all are supportive and respectful. As we are, here on this thread :)

    @lovely_skham Thank you for being so perceptive and engaged in expertly deciphering the (little) info we can get on our ship. I would love to join in the party more frequently with lengthy analyzing posts but rl/time constraints are very difficult to juggle atm.

    You completed perfectly my take on the Dazed interview, e.g. the 'first time we’ve seen each other’s face since it ended' and 'the first reunion in 2 weeks'. Thanks for picking up on that and for the rest of your amazing insight.

    I think in cases like this, it shows the importance of an accurate (and closely as possible to professional) translation, because there is so much one can pick up from the words used or the tense of verbs etc. to thoroughly understand what was asked and answered. Of course, it also helps to be more grounded when analyzing because as we all know, no matter how good a translation/interpretation is, there will always be something lost in translation unfortunately.

    Back to our ship, as I've said before (in a post a couple of weeks ago), given all the info available atm (like the significant detail that their staff continue to keep in touch or even better that they are following JongJoo fan accounts), I believe it sails smoothly, with him confidently and happily swamped in work and with her enjoying her time off (and on when it's the case, e.g. her presence in LA last week).

    About the Korean media not making any assumptions on their relationship off screen: again, I believe it is in line with a bigger picture we are not being able (read allowed) to see atm. Everything happens for a reason. So until that reason is revealed, I will just sit and enjoy the eye-candy (JS, I'm looking at you, man! all those pheromones are surely doing wonders for ya, huh) and all the lovely fluff I can get ;)

    Just wanted to let you guys know that a new English translation is available for the famous Legend of the Fall photo shoot from

    Dazed & Confused Korea, nov. 2016 issue featuring Lee JongSuk &Han HyoJoo's interview - English translation (from Korean), by hitoritabi from tumblr.

    Personally, I find this translation the most accurate and comprehensible, being translated directly from Korean, by a translator (courtesy of Jo aka hitoritabi).

    My 2 cents about the interview:

    1st. They both avoided to give direct answers when asked about how they feel regarding certain aspects, e.g. their feelings regarding their meeting again after the drama ending. Technically they didn't lie when asked because those leaked photos of them together at the wrap up party were taken before the drama aired its last episode (aka "W wrapped" as the question was in the magazine). But, bottom line, they avoided to say how it felt, they just stated "yeah, we met again in 2 weeks". Again nothing about how they feel/felt regarding the photo shoot itself in the hot weather in Tokyo or about their coming and staying there, given their strong connection with Japan and its capital in particular. They just complimented the food and the short travel distance between Seoul and Tokyo. C'mon, I bet there is more to it than just food...

    2nd. They both stress how important communication IS between them. Present tense, mind you. Not past tense as it should have been, because, hello, filming ended more than 2 weeks prior.

    3rd. They do tell each other how they feel, case in hand, about their acting. They, each, value the opinion of the other, the closest they had during filming (given their many scenes together) and finally, they both wish the other to show the world how they really are, e.g. great in acting, as seen by themselves. Because they had witnessed first hand how the other's personality really is during those long days and nights of filming W. Which came as a surprise for LJS (HHJ's lively personality compared to the soulful one he perceived she projected through her films and such).

    While HHJ just wishes for him to acknowledge his amazing skills and see his talent and strengths as they are (as she sees them, as she sees him) and thus become more confident and relaxed. Personally, I think she was referring to his attitude towards his own life as well.

    From my perspective, Jongsuk is an actor with a lot of strong points and he has great potential to continually display good acting for a long time in the future. However, he finds it hard to be content and always worries, which makes one feel sad for him. He has better and more powerful acting than he is willing to admit. So I hope he can act with a more relaxed attitude, since he is already doing very well.

    As for the rest of the interview, they are pretty much in sync. Still. Or even more so after the filming ended. How come? Well, I'd say they wouldn't still be so comfortable if they they weren't communicating or telling each other how they felt, imo.

    He addresses her as 'noona' (Hyojoo-noona to be more exact) a few times but the whole tone of the interview is actually a comfortable one, or as the interviewer said "a heartwarming conversation between the two".

    What I get from this whole 'dialogue' of an interview is that they discovered each other during W and are not shy to talk about it, to ask each other opinions, to openly communicate. Which is all I wanted to know ;)

    DITTO! She is so beautifully serene and comfortable and he is practically enveloping her with his feels also. They are so into each other, slow burning hotness, suited perfectly.

    The ways he grabbed her hand (the part that got cut for obvious reasons and the one from the famous colored cover), so manly and assured but sensual and natural, like her hand belonged in his.

    These two are back together but not as Chul and Yeon-joo; instead, Lee Jong-suk and Han Hyo-joo pair up for an up close and personal couple pictorial for Dazed and Confused Korea. It’s a rare occurrence to have leads for a drama to be reunited in a photo shoot after the drama has ended its run, but I guess their chemistry in W was too good to be missed. Well, Dazed totally did a good job because they look so stunning, and I hope that the magazine will release more shots from this pictorial!

    They are basically doing it in front of the camera. In every bloody frame. That's how intense it is, e.g. the last one with them. The whole concept of the photo shoot actually screams "I want you."

    So it made complete sense to take the pics abroad and for their respective teams to bond more and even to begin to further display that bonding via social media. It grew exponentially since Japan happened. After all they share many things in common. Good job, guys!

Haha but come to think of it, YG themselves have released some of the most "damning" BTS pictures of Jong-suk gazing, gazing, and gazing SOME MORE at Hyo-joo lovingly, I don't think Dispatch will be able to get close enough to JongJoo to take that kind of pictures :lol: 

    Couldn't agree more with your take. It's a smart way to play their cards. He's been doing magazine shoots and endorsing non stop since W ended, the guy is practically everywhere since autumn came. He's packed the next few weeks with fan meetings and VIP filming, throw in an event (like the one last night) here and there and this year flies by. She, on the other hand, has done the same more or less, shoots all around, but less showing up in public. I'd say quite possibly intending to go under the radar in the near future - read while he is busy with movie filming. So the grounds are layed smoothly, going under the limelight, for some well deserved privacy, with a bang (e.g. Dazed & other shoots). All the rest is just a mist, as they say.  It just takes some time and patience. To enjoy the practice. ;)

    Honestly, I had both high hope and low expectation (just to play safe, keke), and JongJoo went WAYYYYYYY beyond my wildest dream (okay, maybe second wildest dream, I did joke that they should make out in the photos but come on, this is after all a fashion magazine and not... you know). In every frame released so far Jong-suk's body language is screaming that he wants her and he wants her bad. And oh mine, they look so MARRIED :dizzy: especially in the frame where they are holding hands.

    Hahahahaha and it cracked me up that poor Ceci had to release their photos at the same time, I mean of course those are really eye candy too but COME ON, if JongJoo are sizzling hot in Dazed then he and that cute lady in Ceci are... okay I'll just say thank you Ceci for offering the comparison shot, next time, ask LJS whether he's just done photoshoot with HHJ and maybe delay yours for a month, OR GET JONGJOO TO DO A SET FOR YOU AS WELL LOL!  

    Can't wait to get my copies (need multiple copies!!!) and I hope other magazines take notice and invite JongJoo to do couple photos too!!!!!! MOAR MOAR MOAR :heart:

     The question is not the presence of said tension, but the intensity of it. It exudes from every pixel. In unmeasurable amounts.

    I know, Ceci feels so pretty (and) flat. Pretty, sure, but there's no spark. He is just posing, detached, like a pro. Meanwhile, Dazed is burning heaven and hell. When together, LJS & HHJ are on fire.

    BTW, I share the same feeling re: the photo-shoot taking place in Japan. Killing many lovely birds with one stone.

    Dazed, I just died and went to Heaven... JongJoo Honey Heaven to be more precise. Hot AF. Period.

    From the way they mold to each other, from the relaxed yet hyper-aware stance, the overflowing sensuality of it all screams intimacy, real intimacy. Even the way they clasp hands is so intense. These (photos) are no joke, they are no joke.

    So happy they did it. Read that however you want, I don't care, I'm in shippers heaven for all I know.
