but according to Joonie recap, actually Dad is playing with both of his sons. He was making it as if Won will be fired but actually dad doesn't have any intention to fire him (97 % vote for Won not being fired). It means even if KT didn't vote for Won, Won still won't get fired. So, he knows by this accident that Tan and Won is allied and that's why he said to Tan:
"DON'T FORGET THIS DAY. YOU LOSE THAT CHILD BECAUSE OF THE SWORD YOU WIELDED."
@minozyeh, thanks for the clarification. I've yet to read Joonni's (always awesome recap). I know that at this point I should not be surprised with the horrible things Daddy Kim says and does but wow he knows how to spit out the most hurtful, poisonous words. The man has no heart, instead he has a block of ice where his heart should be.

If I'm not mistaken(my streaming was terrible today so I missed some parts) they did join force to vote for firing the Chariman. KT promised to give his vote to KW provided the latter gave him an apartment cos KT told him that the most important thing to him was ES. But somehow, dad turned tables on them - not sure how though but dad won by a big majority.
@ZarraJae, thanks for the insight. Oh daddy Kim is evil but I have to say he very smart and shrewd. I hope that seeing the lengths dad will go to, KT and Won will come up with a game plan to turn the tables on dad. It would be better if they could get some allies. I think KT although obviously heartbroken will be as determined as ever.

Thanks everyone for the live recap and screen caps. You're awesome!!! Another great episode. Oh I hope KT's and YD's end up alone, ideally in a dark room with no food. They are both so selfish. The scene where KT was talking with his dad (while crying) was heartbreaking.
ES and KT stay strong. Fighting! I don't think I will be able to concentrate at work, anticipating watching the episode with subs.

@Enonane1, lovely post. Although I'm a KT/ES shipper from the beginning I think YD is a very complex character which lots of layers. I'm rooting as much for KT/ES as couple as I am for YD to find some happiness, joy, comfort in his life. I look forward to him reparing his relationship with KT because I think YD misses him and needs ppl around him how can undertand him. I also think that in these next eps we will see a friendship evolve between ES and him.

As always Chingus, thanks for the updates and spoilers. I don't know what I would out you...I actually I would go crazy waiting for the next ep.
These new potential spoilers ease my mind because although I love ES and all the other characters I was fearful that HS had done something to hurt himself. I was hoping someone in the mist of the party would remember about him and call to check how he was doing.
We've seen in previous eps that Rachel seems to let her gurad down just a bit (or more so that with others) with HS. He seems to read her well so this is def an intersting turn of events. I don't necessarily think the kiss is a declaration of love from either HS or Rachel, I think it will be a spur of the moment act whcih might lead to them both seeing each to other in a different light (down the road). I do hope that we see some change for the better in Rachel, some time soon because at this point I can't really say that I'm rooting for anyone to be with her because her condescending attitude is a mjor turn off.
I love spoilers but they are a double edge sword; they ease the wait but also make me want and anitcipate the next ep more, Having said that the more BTS and spoilers the better...what can I say I like to torture myself.
@iamafan, love your compelation list of all the different posts. It's helpful because although I try to keep up with the thread, RL gets in the way. Plus, it's awesome to be reminded and re-read the great wrting of you many fellow Heirs fans.

I couldn't wait for the preview to come out...but now that it's out I feel like a nervous reck because tough times are on the horizon for our OTP. I have faith that they will stay strong and will overcome all obstacles. Based ont he preview Heirs will continue to give us amazing episodes full of cute, tension and continue to develop the characters and storyline. Here is hoping next week the ratings reach or surpass 25%.

So i couldn't resist after reading the link to the the article that @jjsweeter0211 (thanks!) posted, and had to do a quick translation of important parts. Basically the article says that the kiss will be a two-stage kiss. The scene filmed is after ES turns down KT's heart (gasp!); he goes to see her, waits for her, then basically pours his heart out to her - and then plants one on her. It seems like it starts out as one of those "shut her up" kisses, because he kisses her mid-ES rant. The article states that unlike their first kiss, this is one which comes from a place where both sides are aware of their feelings for each other - so there is a slight difference.
@icesiren, thank you so much for the translation. You're awesome (I remember how generous you were when faith aired, always translating). You make me look forward to the next episode, especially because as a KT and ES shipper I was left feeling sad

Thanks everyone for the recap and updates. They really helped me from going crazy since the live streaming site I had was horrible.
I knew that KT and ES would go angst, many difficulties and eventually a separation but I was not expecting it now. I need more happy, cute, lovey dove scenes to be able to buffer for the storm ahead. I feel like my ship (ES and KT) has been hit....noooo
It's going to get better, right? It has to...see I'm going crazy.Would any chingus pm live streaming links, pls. I think the more options the better based on today. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for sharing the preview, Chingus. Since I don't understand what they are saying it's hard to comment but hmmmm I don't know how we are going to get from ghd end of the love triangle to romance in the next two episodes. Looking forward to getting a translation.

I would also really like to see KT 's birth secret come out into the open sooner than letter. I think it would be something that would shake everyone up. It would def have a big impact on KT and how others see him. I would love to see how he chooses to carry himself once the secret is out. Although there is tension between him and YD he seems to be a good terms with the other students, but how would they react and treat him once they know that he is the son of the mistress? YD all this time has used KT's birth secret over him to try to control him but once the secret is out how would that change his in attitude (if at all)? Won has also constantly thrown it in KT's face that he is the son of a mistress but if he was to see his kid brother treated badly by others, would he change how he treats him?
Sorry for the various questions and scenarios listed above which really do not give insight to what will happen next. Since we will be hitting the halfway mark I think it's time that the central issues come to light. I think some of the secrets that ppl are trying to guard should come out. Whether that is KT's birth secret or the fact that ES is not "new money". I realize that the truth coming out about ES would bring her lots of hardships, especially at school but I think something needs to happen in the next couple of ep's for the story to move forward and for our characters to take action and become actively involved in what will happen in their lives.

dammit @fantast1ksuae ... stop putting these things out in the universe to shock and upset me. San can be alive AND MH will not die. Can't the drama cliche give us a break this one time? Why should MH die? wayo? If anyone should die it should be San's no good sperm donor of a father. Though I would rather he go to prison and become someone's beetch. Does that happen in Korean male prisons?
First, let me say that I love reading everyone's thoughts and insights. Secret is such a well written drama that keeps the viewer in full anticipation mode. I can't wait for the next episode but I'm so glad that this forum is here to help ease the wait.
@atomickitty, I didn't know if I should click on the awesome or LOL. I agreed with what you said. If that doesn't happen Korean prisons than DH should be the first one to have that "honor" after being such a despicable human being.

Thanks, Chingu for the translation. I found myself enjoying episode 2 more than episode one. Episode left me anticipating episode 3. I look forward to seeing them back in Korea and having all the characters interact.

The Master's Sun Activity of the Day (Day 5)
Part A of activity-Day 5) This was a very hard decision to make, as I feel that both are very sad and really showcase the pain that each character is going through. Episode 12's scene shows JW honestly admiting is love for GS and voicing how important she is to him. He admits that she is his sun, and for him she shines so brightly. GS though seeing him as a "ghost" is in pain and dispair;seeing the person she loves gone and being put in harms way to protect her. This scene is heartbreaking because all it takes to feel and understand how GS feels is to look at the expression on her face, her tears and the sobs. The sobs convey so much emotion you are feeling each and every emotion she is going through her body at that moment. It's a very powerful scene.
The end of episode 15, when JW sees GS dissapear is also a very sad and emotionally charged scene. After the emotional rollercoaster that JW has been through in the episode and watching his allies/friends leave his side, I can't help to feel extreme sadness for him. He is standing alone with no one at his side at that moment to hug him or support him. As he said "If the sun really get's lost like this.. I'll be annihilated" it just broke my heart because he realizes how important GS is to him. The relization of not having her by his side and all that means is just devastating.
I can't really choose but if I had to I would say Episode 12 (option A) "So you were right...You are bright like the sun...Tae Gong Shil, I Love You!!" (swoon, I die, these are just beautiful words...the feels).

There is no hesitation and he uses the kiss as a way to convey his feelings towards her. In addition this scene is another turning point in their relationship where it gets harder and harder for them to deny their growing feelings for each other.

It's hard not to love a scene where the uncle (sexy lips) roots for our OTP. It had been hard to read the uncle's intentions, was he a good guy or a bad guy? This scene confirmed that he was definitely on team JW/GS and even though his wife is against the relationship our OTP had another person rooting for them. JW and GS as a couple can never have too many cheerleaders, seeing him so open about his encouragement was great.
