Good grief! So random and evil bff died just like that. All the pity when it had a good start and premise. The twin bro, random death of bff, footage of husband w Arin in house when he was also at her office were introduced just as fillers? Terrible terrible script. What a huge waste of talent. I hate that my fav actress is tied to this crap drama.

Sad that the drama has gone south. Everyone is so disappointed n not even bothering w posts. The scriptwriter(s) shd be fired. Newbie right? So many implausible plots n using excuse of hallucination, they are wasting our time. I wonder why she accepted this drama. She’s still one of few fav actresses and I am only watching due to her. But it’s a tough pill to swallow.

I would have thought bff would be happy to be rid of her ex scum hubby(taking a leaf from the burning sun scandal). And why didn’t SHJ ended up at police station after beating up the deadbeat scum.
I hope the drama will end well. Is SHJ really dead?!! Now this is where I hope it’s really a figment of her imagination.

I started watching only coz of JNR. I was actually expecting a rom com so was surprised that it’s not. As in go back couple I actually shipped her character w the 2nd lead and this drama is no exception. It’s hard not to prefer the 2nd lead as so far u see him really protecting her and investigating to help her. Unless the scriptwriter gonna do one on us and makes him the stalker!! I hope not!
As for SHJ role as the husband, he’s so vindictive to go to such measures and I don’t like that. I also dont like that she was ‘sexually assaulted’ while intoxicated and thus had ARin without any recollection. It’s a wonder the realisation didn’t make her even more miserable on top of realising her husband is upset that the kid is not his. She seems more concerned and apologetic towards him and not over the fact she was assaulted? Hmm
And it seems so strange that they throw in the twin anyone and then killed him off. Seems such a useless red herring. Is he really dead?! Her BFF was so nice to her during school days too so what made her so crazy now. Abit hard to swallow.Ha in spite of all these annoyances, I am enjoying the drama and wish it has a higher rating as it is pretty entertaining. I also wish it’s a happy ending - so please no snafu ending.

Just finished episode 29 and I need to rant. I wished they didn’t make him so obsessive and possessive and it breaks my heart to see him baring his soul for her and she being so heartless and never ever show an ounce of love for him. I was terribly shocked that she was still heartless to the point of saying —

ever again in future lifetimes!! *Gasp* how cruel is that. All that she has done is her mission and duty. I also wondering if she did love him at all.
On another note, did I miss stgh- why did LX give him the scale and what happened to the magnificent white Tiger of our dearest TTJ?

Oh am I the only one who is uncomfortable about episode 14 sex scene? Not crazy that she ‘forced’ him to make out by incapacitating him w a drug. Harumph. It’s freaking me out.

So sad - am I the only one rooting for this drama(actually it’s LYR I am supporting) as bad as it is? Actually I enjoyed the last two episodes and the husband finally had it comeuppance. The actor who played him is really super annoying and I really pity him fot
portraying such a pathetic excuse of a husband.
I hope LYR will come back strong w a nicer drama.
One thing I couldn’t fathom- perhaps someone can enlighten me- the real story of the oracle’s daughter. Police said the mum killed the hubby but it looked like she killed her husband first coz she came to her mum’s place covered in blood? Did I miss something?

Sadly, episode 3 only shows the direction the scriptwriter is going -downhill! It’s full of loopholes and the bad guys get away with ‘paid’ art masterpieces, buying betrayal and killing off people by dropping off orchids that are supposed to be extremely rare? They knew she was going to meet the guy at the fish market but conveniently the meeting with the brother, who provides the thumb drive so easily, without hitch.
The actresses are hardly endearing so far, esp the youngest sister . What a shame, had a promising start. I am jumping ship!

Can I add that Oh Jung Se who plays Director Shin is a brilliant actor. He was really fantastic in it’s okay not to be okay and here as a villain, he’s so convincing and menacing! Love him!

Director Shin is a threat coz he’s going to squeal to the public prosecutor. He told her when she confronted him at the carpark. But kinda silly he didn’t think he would be killed to shut his trap? One would think he would be more careful.

So many rants! And I need to add to them- why did they make her shed so much blood?!! Haiz! And please bring back Buyeon- how can such a powerful priestess be killed off so easily?
As for Yul, it shd be easy for him to rid himself of the worm if only he knows, since Soi who has no power can transfer to him so easily.

I don’t think Cho Yeon’s father is the real father. He’s also a soul shifter, working for the Queen.
I really like Teacher Lee(loved him when he was in Vincenzo) and hope they won’t kill him off. Although I think they just might since he is the most powerful mage right now. In many ways, I root for him and Maidservant Kim, but I doubt he will get his girl as she is obviously in love with the stubborn and slow witted Park Jin.-

I think many of us were hoping that Young II was really in love w Hae Young. But I think if he truly loves her and not take advantage of her naïveté, then he should court her properly and marry her. So I find his intentions suspicious. He took advantage of her ‘wealth’ and that he was in a similar case b4 just doesn’t help him. He may think he loves her but I can’t help but think there is some manipulation here. But it’s sad that poor Hae Young may not ever have a relationship w a ‘normal’ person as a result of an overbearing and over protective mum. In addition, am I still too old fashioned that sex should wait til vows have been exchanged? Looks like one night stands are now common in Korean society? Or only in dramas?

Me too! Finished the 8 episodes in one day! However, I must complain everything was great except for the ending. I didn’t see why they make professor cha go thru that. V unnecessary. I like him just as much as the main lead.

Yeah the male actors are nowhere appealing to hold any interest esp their crappy characters. I am really watching because of Lee Yuri. However, episode 3 was quite entertaining as it’s finally revealed what Mari is up to after consulting the divorce lawyer. I hope ratings will pick up and I am rooting for Lee Yuri. She is really funny and I didn’t know she could dance like that! She’s taking her acting to new levels and I have never seen her act so comedic b4. Love her!
I want to throttle the mistress but in all affairs, I always blame the men!

Oh one more thing, I was so nervous that Uk will choose to go w the Asst gwanju as he did say he wants to infiltrate into the palace. But I am so glad MD told him to choose Songrim instead. Phew!

I am conflicted. Naksu’s real body has been cremated. So will blind Naksu be revived and whose body is she going to take? Blind Naksu also saved Uk from having his soul shifted. Why would she help him? And Naksu did take blind MuDeok’s body (albeit unknowingly) in a rather callous manner since she knew the whose ever body she takes will be in her dead body.
The ice stone has to be with the queen and that was why she was supplying the Asst Gwanju with the round stones for soul shifting that the eunuch brought him.
If u go to Asian wiki Alchemy page, u will see under the Jin family tree, the actor playing the father and hence it is the truth that he’s out there looking for his eldest daughter.
I hope for blind MD to have a happy ending too but I wonder who that will be. Yul?

Young Woo looked so gorgeous in her wedding dress. Her banter with attorney Jung is funny! Curious to know what connection mdm. ceo has with her dad..?
Maybe he’s the son of TAESAN!

I haven’t been motivated to sign into the forum this past year and this new drama just kicked me into doing it! Goes to show how good it is!! And this is an understatement.
While Park Eun Bin is not my favourite actress, watching her here has made me look at her with new eyes- she’s a darn good actress and I will be looking forward to all her further works!
Love the legal cases of each new episode - so refreshing! Heartwarming too. I hope their ratings will break through the roof!

Just finished Vincenzo - while I didn’t enjoy it for the first few episodes (coz I hated Ms Cha’s mannerisms and didn’t feel the plot) and actually took a break, I took a chance on it again and wowowow it got really good! Love the humour and that V really took out the villains as an anti hero breaking the usual and trite mould of ‘doing the right things’ via the law.
My fav characters were Lim Chup Soo and Yoon Byung Hee. The two biggest fans of our consigliere. They were just too adorable！
What I love also is that many of the supporting actors got recognised (finally!) and I was esp surprised at pizza man. Couldn’t even recognise him at first and realised he’s been in so many dramas! So many many versatile and wonderful Actors and Actresses in this drama. *whistle*
I don’t know if I want a sequel but I would want them all to come back in another drama!
So... congrats Vincenzo on turning out to be a fun and entertaining drama and thanks for making me change my mind!
PS burning question - Vincenzo didn’t share the gold w the rest? Only pianist and ms Cha and the law clerk got a cut? Pls enlighten me? Tks!

Hmm I don’t like the lead actress - she’s very irritating at the moment and as some of you have mentioned, her acting reminds me of Honey Lee in fiery priest.
Will watch just coz it’s SJK for now and give it a chance but wished they didn’t let him get fleeced so pathetically so early on when he was portrayed as so savvy dealing w the Italians.
For now, there are some plus points- having some great supporting cast. Yoo Jae Myung playing the lawyer dad and also that amazing dancer Kim Seol Jin from Dancing 9 Season 2!
Hope the drama will shine coz I am rooting for these amazing actors.
haha sorry but I think they shd boot the girl. She will probably go through a transformation later but she is so unoriginal and grating right now.

I agree w the Korean fans that there is a couple of rather silly incidents eg the one of park shin hye sitting calmly on top of the train and no one noticed her?? They never showed how she got away and I rolled my eyes at this particular scene. Nonetheless the main plot is different enough from the usual k dramas and to be honest, I am really watching it coz it’s CSW helming it! Haha he’s my bias!-

Watching this purely for ZLY. The special effects are great and the acting of ZLY is so enjoyable. However the script is weak. Hope it gets better - I don’t see how she could have fallen for him really so fast.
