Yea, I guess the one at the jewelry shop with CJW is Kylie. most of the pics are from Kylie's IG anyway. Her hairstyle & colour is similar with CJW.

Guys! I just realized Kylie's caption on instagram prohibit (in hashtag) any re-post of CJW pic in Maldives. Kylie said she won't upload any CJW pic anymore in the future if we re-post CJW pic uploaded on her IG. It's true that Kylie upload it for the sake of the fan (I think CJW purposely sent it to her), but it's just for viewing purpose, not for "distribution". :-SS :-SS

Is she out of the country again and now vacationing in Maldives ?? Boy !! I guess the celebs often leave the country when they are not filming or working. I didn't know that her niece is all grown up already. I thought she is still a little girl. Like you said we have to let YG entertainment know that CJW needs to have her own IG account.

1994As all of you already know, she was discovered when she won a talent audition organized by MBC in 1994 (the youngest winner, she was sophomore in college). In Healing Camp, when she was asked what did she performed during the audition, she answered " I actually didn't do much, everyone else prepared a lot, they dance, they do martial arts, I just read some script I prepared beforehand, get on the stage and recite it. The panels didn't ask me to do anything in specific. But, since I still have my Satori (dialect, as she is from Busan), then the panels asked me, "Can you change your Satori ?" She replied "Yes!". "That's it!" she said to the hosts, to which brought laughter to Healing Camp hosts.
1995In 1995, she made her debut through her supporting role in MBC War and Love which starred Ahn Jae Wook as lead. He passed the 1994 talent audition together with CJW. CJW mentioned that Ahn Jae Wook progressed further after he passed the audition, but for her, she only acted in small roles for two years. She even thought of giving up, and go back to Busan. But she gave a second thought, and decided to try one more time.

1996Then, there's this audition held to find lead actress in a movie called The Gate of Destiny. Among 478 participants, she was selected as the lead actress. But, due to her limited acting skill, she was replaced with other actress from the film after shooting quite a number of scenes. She said in Healing Camp, the news about her being selected as the lead actress has been published [e.g: Magazine X - 1996-02-13], and she even has done the poster shoot and interviews. She even learnt to smoke cigarette because the director asked her to learn it. She cried as she told the Healing Camp hosts about this, but then laugh it off when she found out the movie didn't do well in the cinema (she even went to the cinema to watch it).
The movie was filmed in 1996 when Choi was just a newbie actress. Due to her limited acting skills, she was replaced by the actress Kim Sung-lim. The actress cried on the SBS’ show as she talked for the first time about the painful rejection from being expelled from the movie.
“The Gate of Destiny was my first major role, so I was determined to give it my best. I practiced for months leading up to the production, but despite this, I was replaced without even an explanation as to why. Then, CJW got her first role in film (film debut) through The Adventure of Mrs Park (released on September 21, 1996).

At the same time frame of her debut film was released, she took a supporting role in highest rated korean drama of all time (rated for drama between 1990's until present) - First Love (still stands on No 1 spot with 65.8% peak viewer rating and average of 47.1% for entire run). CJW got her lead first lead role in SBS drama Happiness in Our Hearts, opposite Ryu Shi Won. This is the first piece they work together. The video below, they are so shy with each other when the staffs asked them to kiss each other. Haha. In the second part, the interviewer asked both of them when was their first kiss (or perhaps just a peck) in real life. To this, CJW shyly replied, "I think it was during my first year in college". Aawwwww! 8-> Choi Ji Woo is so cute!

Next, on 1st November 1997, her thriller film The Hole (also known as The Trap, a remake of Hollywood film, Hush) was released. She played the daughter-in-law to a crazy, psycho mom-in-law who loves her son too much (yeah, right) and hates her daughter-in-law for stealing her son's love. I've watched this film before, but the playlist got deleted recently in youtube. Here are some of thrilling scenes from the movie:
Basement scene, CJW character is locked up by her mother-in-law in the basement, and she tried to escape with the help from her friend
Bathtub drowning scene (poor JIWoo ). Her mother-in-law doesn't want her to join the dinner date with her son and give warning while drowning her. Crazy!
In Healing Camp, Han Hye Jin remarks that she really likes this movie and learnt a lot about acting using this movie's script. She played lead role in KBS2 drama Love in 3 Colours as Eun Ji Soo. She also have her big screen role that year as the main female cast of Nowhere to Hide (action,thriller genre). I haven't watch this one yet, but you guys can watch it from here [click]
2000
CJW embarked her second drama to get enlisted as among the highest rated drama of all time - Truth (Honesty), opposite Ryu Shi Won (their second encounter). Until today, Truth is placed no. 13th spot with 56.5% peak rating [source]. Those who reside in the country that can access dramafever, you can find this drama from that site. People there mention how great this drama is with unexpected ending, though younger generation may find it as cliche love story, but at that time, it was a refreshing plot and twist.

She reunited with he two times co-star, Ryu Shi Won in Beautiful Days. But the male lead was Lee Byung Hun. In Healing Camp, Lee Byung Hun described, CJW is a trustworthy dongsaeng, whom he can talk about a lot of things with. CJW also mentioned in Healing Camp that it was from acting in Beautiful Days that she come to love and enjoy acting, that she found her passion in acting.
