So I'm gonna try and post the a lil bit of summary of the show today under the spoiler but please be informed that this is purely my understanding of the show from being a kpop fan for the past 6-7 years. So there might be some inaccuracies.
1. Sungjae said that he never watched a horror movie with a girl before but since he was with his wife he need to be cool and all and proceed with his acting.
2. Sungjae checks whether he has food stuck between his teeth and when Joy said she was worried abt that too he asked he to show him her teeth but she didn't want to. He was like "Why...we are a couple aren't we?" *cue fangirl squeal* Joy didn't want to show him that side of her.
3. When Sungjae wanted to bring the plates to the sink, Joy rushed and said he should rest and leave it all to her. He was like "let's see how long this will go on" keke.
4. Make up scene : Joy only have compliments for her nampyeon, saying his eyebrows, eyes, nose, lips are handsome while Sungjae is mesmerized by Joy's beautiful eyes.
well i guess that's all i can do for now. keke. back to rewatching the show!

@blueeye the funniest thing abt their skinship in the movie is that right before the movie started, Sungjae stare at Joy and Joy was backing away because she said that they were too close. Haha. That changes after the movie starts tho. I kept thinking it was lucky that they were the only one in the movies. Everyone would be so distracted with their screaming.
And about the chocolate tradition, i remembered in YongSeo driving test scene, Seohyun brought red bean rice cakes or something like that (i think) and gave it to Yonghwa. I believe it is a tradition that they should eat something sticky so that the lesson they learnt will stick into their brain. And they always avoid food that is considered slippery (?) to avoid losing the things that they learn.
Maybe I heard it wrong but when Sungjae said that his mom made it, Joy immediately changes her expression. Lol this girl is trying to impress her mother in law but alas, her honesty wins. This girl expression is too cute! And Sungjae naturally fed her twice in this episode once with the huge caramel popcorn and 2nd time is the bitter 'chocolate'.

Edit : The movie poster said that You should never watch this movie alone. Lol. And the irony, there were only the two of them in the whole movie theater. Sungjae was like what if we didn't come together, then there will be only one person watching this. (that will be sooo scary mannn)

oh i forgot to mention that when they were at the test center, Sungjae complained why Joy always wear short skirts, he's gonna get mad! And proceed to cover her, meanwhile he was also embarrassed because he was also wearing shorts so Joy covers him with her bag. Aigoo these two. I think during the movie Joy was genuinely concerned about Sungjae after seeing him being super scared + cried a little and he had cold sweat. The best thing about Sungjoy is that eventhough both of them are scaredy cats, they both try to take care of each other

This week's episode was basically a present for the SungJoy fans. While we enjoy watching the skinship parade the couple was having their near death experience watching the movie (they were watching Demonic btw)
There's not much conversation this time around. Oh and the preview! They are going somewhere together while riding the train! 1st honeymoon trip? And the Red Velvet and BTOB members make a brief cameo this episode too!

@unhskikr4ever yes, poor Sungjae was saying since he was watching it with his wife, he will be tough and not scared at all. But yeah, we can all see that was not the case.
Lol, the mission was a fail for Jonghyun x Sungyeon couple as both of them fell asleep. Lolol.
And for the makeup scene. aigooo, both of them are enjoying watching each other at a close distance. will update more later because i wanna watch the OhYeah couple now. keke

On a side note SungJoy has successfully become my happy pills. I didn't know I was able to wake up this early voluntarily on a weekend. Haha

@Rui501 i know right? That's the best thing about WGM. Aside from seeing the couples in a new light, you can also see their members and get to know them outside the normal stage that we always see them.
I see that BTOB have secured some new Melodies in this thread including myself. I too didn't get the chance to venture into BTOB previously as I'm stanning too many groups at the time they debuted. Well better late than never right?

Where did Eungkwang get his energy from? 2 boys in the video namely Ilhoon and Sungjae is yawning at the back while leader-nim was dancing crazily in front. Hope they'll take care of themselves.

I need to find that OhYeah couple part tha @rbccafbrda pointed out. I love them too but sometimes i didn't watch their part. Well the SCRIPTED issue will always come out whenever there is a thread on a new couple. And yes, to a certain extent, it is scripted but in my opinion, it will just be like a really rough plan/story board on what the couples are supposed to be doing during the filiming date. In other words, their mission. The mission will determine the theme for the day and how they want to spend it, where they are going and how they are going anywhere is definitely planned beforehand. You can't expect the production team to just randomly throw the couples somewhere without any prior plans right? All the reservations, security issues and stuff have to be taken care of. For example, during SungJoy' arcade date, why there is not a single soul there? Suspicious isn't it? I assume that the production team rent the arcade place for a while just for the two of them. So yeah. This show is scripted. But i belive all the dialogues are 100% coming from their own mind and heart.
Eventho Yongseo is my fav ultimate ship, I can't deny that both of them are lacking in terms of acting. I actually cringe when I watch their dramas. But I can actually watch their WGM videos over and over again. Why? I don't detect any signs of acting or awkwardness. They both seem natural and are being themselves when they are in front of the camera

Ohhh the thread is lively again!
Thanks for sharing the kcon pics and videos @veryhungry and @accioclarice. She's sooo pretty and energetic! When watching Joy promoting in shows or concerts with her RV members, I noticed that she'll be the one who will take charge when it becomes awkward. Like that one time when the MC asked for a sexy dance and while her unnies and yeri was contemplating, our girl has taken the center stage with her sexiness. Keke. And now again, with the aegyo request...while they were discussing and that brief awkward moment, Joy stepped up and asked the audience with her cute English "do you know 꿍꼬또?" and proceed with her aegyo. Great job girl! Loving you more and more!
Well, well Eric Nam sure has so many opportunities to be with Red Velvet eh? I remembered him being crazy at After School Club with Jimin, Joy biggest fangirl, in the plane with RV in his V Live app video and also the weekly studio family for WGM.
and it's great to see both of them doing so well with their activities. let's just hope and pray for their health =)

Edit :I find it refreshing that this week's episode have more funny moments rather than romantic ones.
What I really like about this episode is that we can see that both of them have their feet on the ground and not trying to live in a fantasy world created by WGM. I realised abt this when Sungjae said :
They are participating in WGM with an open mindset that this is their opportunity to do their best for their partner, being the first experience for them as idols who didn't have time to even date feel how it is to have someone as their other half. I dunno how to phrase it nicely but it's like they are trying to make the 'marriage' as close to reality as possible.
So for the weekly fav moment before I watched it with subs is.....:
Who else wanted a house like this too?? I fell head over heels for their rooftop garden. And Sungjae's random romantic gesture is so sweet (SooHyun and IU from Producer came right into my mind during this moment
)and after watching it with subs....

boy for someone who is flustered you really did give away your lips freely to her. I guess this kid is used to being pampered by his hyungs and noonas.
new info yay! now for some babies mission in the future...keke. babies taking care of babies. that will be interesting. I remembered Alshin and Crown J x Seo In Young couple from WGM Season 1 had to take care of quadruplets and one baby for their WGM mission. It was pure GOLD!

Admiration for this girl : MAXIMUM level. How she's so honest, transparent about her feelings for him and simply not afraid to wear her heart on her sleeves. How much courage do you need to have to announce this 3 simple words but bear a thousand of meanings on national tv? I aspire to be like her in expressing my feelings. Joy is exposing her heart to him and also us fans to see. How pure and innocent this girl is. It's no wonder she is looking fragile whenever she speaks about her heart to him directly. Twice. Once during the couch confession, and now, the rooftop confession. I'm loving this girl way too much.
Well, that's all for my spazzing moments. If only I'm this dedicated to my work and studies, I'll be a rich and an a plus student! keke

Yes yes @unhskikr4ever! That's why i picked it as my absolute fav moment from the preview despite them being so far from the camera. They really did but Sungjae let it go because he got scared. But they did it again in the last gif!
I'm so glad our couple did not watch the movie while lying on a bed like the other two couples. This way we can see them holding hands!

@raJrui i know right? When I 1st saw the preview I was like this girl is enjoying the horror movie too much. Keke. Just like the ear piercing episode where she can't even feel the pain because she was too distracted by their skinship. But I guess later on Joy really did get into the movie too as she was flailing all over the place as well.

Well about the rooftop confessions, this is what i can roughly understand from it :
1. Sungjae asked Joy did she ate chicken with someone else (specifically a guy) and Joy said only her appa (this girl is surely a daddy's girl) and Joy asked him back. I think he wanted to make Joy a lil jealous by saying yes, he had chicken with a girl previously...his noona. keke
2. Joy asked Sungjae whether he is tired as they did WGM straight after his showcase. I think he said his nervousness went away after the showcase but suddenly Joy surprise them with the support event for BTOB. Eventhough it was crazy but he was thankful to her for it.
3. Joy talked about how cool he is on stage since she watched him live for the 1st time.
4. Joy asked whether Sungjae wanted to know anything about her. Sungjae asked whether there was a time she felt annoyed (?) (짜증) at him and she said there was none. Sungjae asked her again whether there was a time where she felt frustrated (?) (아쉬운) (korean vocabs are so hard to substitute into english T.T i'll leave it to the expert later). Joy said that she does not know what Sungjae feel about her/ his heart. and she said directly that she likes him....and Sungjae explained that he was being cautious and trying to watch his words because he wanted to be a normal (?) (정상인) person in front of her considering he like to act crazy in other places/shows. Remember when changsub said that once Sungjae let loose these is no turning back? (or something alone that line) keke. Joy is touched by his words once again after that.
please note that this is just my understanding and really hope that i didn't take anything out of context. but to be 100% sure, i think we should just wait for the translation from kshow/rv subbing squad or rororaemon =)
Did anyone realised that Joy is the one who is using the moustache spoon? Lol. Okay i need to stay away from SungJoy before I turn into a full time stalker. Annyong for now JaefulJoys!

I'm back! Keke. Couldn't stay away from this thread for more than a couple of hours! I'm still enjoying watching their cuts from MBCent official youtube channel and from the view counts and number of thumbs up, i guess it is safe to say that uri byuu is generally well received and liked internationally. I'm not sure about the response in S.Korea but at least we international fans can give them support right?
Back to their video...I find it cute when Joy repeatedly said that the rooftop patio is like her dream house and Sungjae cutely asked her 꿍꼬또? (Just like the aegyo that Joy did in the bus...the i dreamt of a ghost aegyo).
Another part is that Sungjae seems to like hearing praises from Joy. He actually asked twice whether he was cool on stage after Joy said it once and finally k.oed by Joy's "I can only see you on stage" when Sungjae asked her who else looked cool beside him. Keke.
And did anyone noticed Joy called Sungaje Yeobo (or honey) when she pass him the water the morning after?? Sighh these two. Wae so kawaiii? (I think i heard Sungjae called her yeobo once too but i need to rewatch the episode again to confirm it. Keke. Might be just my delusional mind playing tricks on me)

@unhskikr4ever i would just ignore the negative comments on sungjae or joy. Everyone have their own opinion and if they think Sungjae is faking it, let them be. We can continue to believe what we want and go with our guts feeling on what we are watching and seeing with our own eyes. If we think they are natural, sweet, and honest, we should hold on to that and just protect that thinking. Like I said before, we cannot force everyone to like SungJoy byuu like we do, all the can do is spread the love and happiness and give them support.
@accioclarice kyaaa all the gifs you have posted is so spazz worthy! Joy's wriggling when she is shocked is so adorable! It seems like she gets shocked easily. And those fail attempts by Sungjae. Keke. He looks like a kid when he was complaining that he wanted to go out bc the bedroom is so hot. Poor boy was so close to tears when he was watching the movie. I would not believe that he was THAT scared if I didn't watch the BTOB video that was posted previously. Sungjae and Eunkwang is obviously the biggest scardy cats of BTOB. Like @maurens0 and many others said, paranormal activity is not that scary but these two still gets creeped out easily as compared to Minhyuk who didn't budge at all and Peniel who had more fun scaring the leader.
I had a feeling that they were watching Ju-on at the cinema. As it is the latest horror movie at my country too. If that is so, i would be super scared as well. I didn't get to sleep the night after i watched Ju-on at the movies as i kept imgining toshio is going to appear under my blanket. *shivers *
P.S : it seems like Red Velvet is going to KCON in LA! Found it through Eric Nam's V live video upload. He is in the plane togther with RV and they seem so close (they appear in After School Club twice). But I cannot see Joy in the video tho.

I think I have a problem. I keep on rewatching their cuts and searching everywhere and anywhere about any Sungjae and Joy's news. Keke. This has not happen since forever. I never shipped or follow any idol as diligent as I do now for SungJoy since YongSeo happened. I keep on coming to this thread to read all your posts and waiting for any updates. Huu. I have no idea how did these two get me hooked on their virtual married life and makes me wished for the days to go faster so I can watch their new episodes again

I think he said "Ah Joy-ya I cannot watch this"...this was after he said this guy is going to die, this girl is going to die...lol he was like picking everyone and said that they are going to die. Meanwhile Joy eventhough she was scared she still curious about the movie so she was like "let's watch the movie quietly" keke. this happened in the few last scenes too right before Joy "hugged" Sungjae when he covered her from the screen as she wanted to watch the scene (and then get scared while Sungjae was the one protecting her this time)
