  1. I don't know if it was mentioned already but I saw a video that pointed out how the ending camera scene of the finale paralleled that of the ending of the first episode. In the first episode it was DHS, CJW, and Eun Ha having fun upstairs while the camera went down to the workshop and then to the basement where KMJ was tied up. In the finale, the camera went in the opposite direction beginning in the workshop where DHS and CJW just restarted their relationship and going to the second floor that's their home.

Looking back on it, I really liked the small details like that that I guess we only end up discovering once the drama is over.

How about you? What’s your take on the amnesia route?

When I was watching the episode I didn't understand why DHS lost his memories but as I continued watching, I understood that he didn't lose all of his memories, just those ones about his life as BHS. Even then, the things that he was shown to remember weren't the things about him really deceiving people, or at least those weren't the ones we were shown if he did remember them. Instead, what we were shown was the snippets of him living as BHS when it involved CJW. So rather than him living the moments when he was pretty much hiding himself, he was remembering those rare and few moments when he was actually true to himself and the relationship.

So then I came around to the amnesia plot and figured that there would be no other way that DHS could actually be himself after everything that happened. After the car accident originally happened, DHS was thrust into the life of BHS and was made to adopt his appearance and personality and was always on edge that someone somewhere was trying to find him because he was essentially a wanted criminal. Once he woke up after the bullet to the head, he was no longer a DHS that was on the run, he was the DHS that was being praised yet pitied upon. It was like his whole worldview had shifted at that moment since he was no longer on the run and didn't have to hide his true self.

Like others have mentioned, DHS and CJW's relationship was built on lies and even though DHS tried to rectify those lies, CJW told him that they should only focus on the positives. Perhaps she didn't really want to know or decided to just accept everything at face value. But with DHS now not remembering any of the lies that he told CJW that once started their relationship, she was able to learn the real DHS and able to get a full understanding of the person that she actually married, something that I deem wouldn't have been possible without him losing those 15 years that he lived as BHS.

As much as an amnesia plot isn't liked (I just keep remembering how in Boys over Flowers, I think the Japanese version, it was literally in like the last episode or something but like full on amnesia and a Chinese drama, Your Highness Class Monitor did the same thing), I think it was justified in this case. Like CJW told Eun Ha, DHS never actually lived freely in his life. Even if he were living as BHS, he was under the control of the Baek family and was still a wanted criminal. In the end, I did like their use. I liked that they didn't make him lose all of his memories and rather they reset DHS back to as if BHS had never happened. Sure he'll probably come to learn about that over time and all of the ordeals, but now CJW and DHS have built an even stronger foundation that won't waver no matter what because this time it's a foundation built on complete honest and trust.

  3. Looks like there were more people who wanted to see what happened in the finale. The average rating was 5.7%, their highest throughout the entire series.

An article, here, states that the metropolitan area recorded an average of 6.6%, with the highest peak being 7.3% whereas the nationwide average is the 5.7% with a peak of 6.2%. It also says that in regards to tvN male/female 20-49 population, the average viewers rating in the metropolitan area was 3.4%, a peak of 3.9% and the nationwide average was 3.3% with a peak of 3.7%.

All in all, I'd say it ended on a pretty good note seeing as it was off by a week and the fact that it was on pretty late.

  4. After watching the fully subbed episode, rather than trying to get by with my limited Korean knowledge, my thoughts have changed a little about the finale from being slightly confused to appreciating it more so sorry if this might be a little long.

I guess what part of it comes down to is the fact that, as Hae Soo said, DHS is literally just being the same DHS he's always been. When KMJ mentioned how DHS seemed different, she said that maybe he's just the same way he's always been. I'm assuming implying that hiding himself for 14 years did a number on him, as I'm sure it would on anybody. Therefore the DHS that they were currently dealing with is the personality that DHS had before he got hit with the car and essentially became BHS.

He knows that he was wrong to CJW and I think he thinks that it'd be easier for her to hate him than to just simply forgive him because what he thinks, based on where he is mentally and what he's heard from others, is that he simply used her for 14 years. Like he told KMJ in the car, he believes he wouldn't marry someone he loved under a fake identity and the voices he hears in his head of past memories, he doesn't have a timeline for them. I think he thinks that, after believing he doesn't love her and only uses her, that those are his recent thoughts about her whereas when he thought that he loved her came before those or he might've said that as a lie.

DHS doesn't want to give her any hope about possibly getting back together, maybe because he's guilty about the whole thing, which is why I think he stops himself from trying to get too involved with her or show it. It's also probably why he wanted to stop her fantasy about ever reclaiming the old him because he's not ever going to be that. He's not going to ever live as someone else for 14 years again so there's no way to recreate that person that he thinks CJW is in love with. Like he knows he has feelings for her and he knows that he feels something but for him, he thinks that that sort of thing won't last for him because he's still under the guise that he's not capable of emotions.

Also, maybe his hatred towards his past self stemmed from just simply thinking that he couldn't be the guy deserving of CJW. He knows that she's looking for a resemblance to the past inside of him that he knows isn't there and doesn't believe himself to be capable of the things that he's heard to have been able to do. That's probably why he mentioned that it felt like they were running in a circle with her chasing him from behind and him not wanting her to see the front of him. Him from behind could be that she's chasing the past image of him whereas him not wanting her to see the front of him means that he doesn't want her to actually see what kind of cruel person he believes himself to be, or more particularly, the real him without a false identity. It's like they're both on separate ends. CJW wants to try to hold on to what they had before, whatever she can grasp at and I just think DHS doesn't want to be compared anymore. For him, everyone telling him everything about the past DHS and things he did could be like hearing about your childhood. You don't remember you did those things but the people around you do and the person that you are now isn't the person you were back then as things have changed. I think he accepts that he was once that person but maybe that person sounded too nice for the image he makes himself out to currently be or rather, the real DHS.

I think DHS hearing that he truly did love CJW from multiple people, including GMJ, proved to him, even a little, that the feelings he had for her were true. If he didn't like taking her over to his fake mother's house because he cherished her, then he probably realized then that he wanted to try to keep her as far away from his fake identity as possible. I guess the story about the name behind the workshop also showed to him that he truly loved his wife despite what he initially thought or believed to be true about himself and that those feelings were more than just something fleeting if he named his entire workshop after her.

And that's why CJW trying to let him go and DHS finally trying to move on with his life while also trying to understand his past, I think, put them on even ground to start new. In a way they had to realize that the past was the past and had to accept that first before they were able to realize that they had to start fresh. Hae Soo wanted DHS to find his own starting point and he probably recognized that his starting point should be the one person who, in his own words, should hate him the most but doesn't, the one person who has constantly stood by his side no matter what happened, CJW. I believe that that's why he was finally curious about learning about himself and becoming, at least a little, like the man he once was. He got confirmation about the feelings he thought weren't true and I guess got a better sense and picture of how CJW truly remained by his side the entire time.

For CJW, maybe she thought moving would allow them both to start anew. They wouldn't have the danger of running into each other if she was on the other side of the country, the bottom more precisely, but she'd also give DHS the space that she probably thought he needed in order to actually live his life as a free person and not strangled by the restraints of his past. Even if she moved, she'd probably always live with the hope that he'd somehow remember and come back to her, but she would realize that her decision would give DHS the choice that he never really had in life before.

I guess the appreciation for the episode is that at the end, it truly feels like the family is able to start new. DHS may not remember everything, but he's slowly gaining it back. Even if he does remember absolutely everything, he has his family that will stick by him no matter what. There aren't any more lies between CJW and DHS, even with the lost memories and their trust in each other has probably grown. Instead of DHS pretending to be BHS, he finally approached her as DHS and only as DHS. He didn't have to lie and there was nothing for him to gain, other than CJW and Eun Ha, so he could finally freely be himself.

Looking back on it, I really did like this series. Of course there were bumps in the road and some things that can be overlooked, but I really loved the characters and their journeys and I'm overall happy that we got a happy ending, or at least a hopeful one for the future.

As a side note, I thought that it was a nice subtle touch when he said he was practicing at the workshop and the wedding ring gave him a sense of balance, regarding the weight in his hands and pressure probably, to then having scratches and cuts because he wasn't used to working without the ring on by the end. For a show that was so obsessed about hands since the beginning, I thought it was a nice touch.

Also, at the end, CJW calls him Hyun Soo, unlike during the beginning of the episode when she kept mistakenly calling him Hee Sung, which I thought also signified them being able to start over as who they really are.

But thanks to everyone! I'll still be hanging out here a little to see everyone's final thoughts!

Thanks to everyone for such a great experience!

  5. Ah, so Eun Ha said that the kids were telling her that her parents divorced because CJW changed her name to Cha Eun Ha. I guess that was more for her to separate themselves from the Baek family yet not knowing fully about DHS I guess after realizing that he didn't remember any of them. I wonder what'll happen if they ever decide to change her name to Do Eun Ha. Would she ask or wonder why her father has a different name? How would you even explain that to a child?

  6. In hindsight, it does make sense that DHS didn't actually get all of his memories back but that he's getting them back piece by piece. It'd probably be too much of a shock for him if everything suddenly came back at once because from what he understood when he woke up, he just suffered a car crash and the year was 2005.

But he'll probably fill in the gaps as he goes, just like with people calling him Hee Sung, but since he doesn't fully remember about living as another person for 15 years, I think it's kind of better that way, in a way. For both CJW and DHS, by DHS essentially forgetting his existence as BHS, it does give them the blank slate to start over with their lives because up until the car crash, DHS was simply DHS.

And I guess that's what he meant by saying that he now wants to learn about the person CJW was talking about. He wants to become the person that she's looking for because he finally understands some of the parts he was missing. Because of the time jump of 4 months, I assume that during those 4 months, people were obviously telling him that he lost some of his memories and he was obviously preparing for Hae Soo's trial. KMJ, I assume, also brought up some things or noticed, like how he pointed out, that DHS was aware of CJW and innately cared about her, just like how he was innately buying egg tarts.

I think the trouble with DHS in episode 16 was that because he woke up with no memories of who he became, and all of those memories he had with CJW, and pretty much how he evolved as a person, that's why he couldn't believe what CJW was saying about him and was suspicious of it. The version of himself he knew wasn't the version of himself that CJW was saying and he knew they didn't add up, which is why CJW questioned him about why he didn't believe in himself and his feelings. Then again, he was the DHS who thought he didn't have the ability to feel therefore his feelings confused him.

Like he knows that he had a past with CJW but just doesn't fully remember it and knows that he's not the guy she thinks he is, or once was. He knows things are different, and so does she, and I guess they just had to get to the point where they accept that.

So I mean, it's not great that he lost all of his memories, but I guess it did give their family the clean slate that they needed to start over and for DHS to evolve as DHS rather than as DHS living as BHS.

And I guess now we know why Lee Joon Gi said it was hard to look at Moon Chae Won after reading the script for episode 16, because pretty much the whole episode was DHS forgetting about his family. Also, it really was until the very last scene like Seo Hyun Woo mentioned haha.

Also, I just noticed that when Eun Ha was drawing she wrote her name as Cha Eun Ha.

Rough translations. I separated them and put the times for each section

    0:00 - 1:55

    Spoiler

(DHS and CJW taking wedding pictures)

Photographer: Bride, just make your expression a little more natural

    CJW: Okay

Photographer: Groom, you're very fashionable. You could even be a model

DHS: Do you want to rest a little?

    CJW: Yeah, it's hard

DHS: I'm sorry, but can we have a 10 minute break?

    Photographer: Should we?

CJW: Is this really your first time doing this? Why are you so good at it?

DHS: It's all from being rich. What? Are you worrying about something?

CJW: Are your parents really not coming?

DHS: Yeah, they're not going to

CJW: It's your once-in-a-lifetime wedding. I'm worried that you'll regret it

DHS: I'll just do it twice then. We can do it again

CJW: That would cost too much

DHS: Weddings are only a material event so don't worry too much

CJW: It would be upsetting without any family there

DHS: You're the only one for me. I'm serious

    1:55 - 5:01

    Spoiler

CJW: He said he was going to meet us at his house

    (CJW attempts to call)

CJW: His cellphone is off, too. Did something happen?

DHS: He's just running away. He thought about it and figured he can't be a witness

CJW: That's not true. When I talked to him on the phone earlier he clearly said he'd do it

(CJW gets a text saying he can't do it)

CJW: He said he can't do it

    DHS: Then let's get going

CJW: Let's wait. He'll have to come home at some point so let's wait and convince him

(The two of them decide to wait and it starts to rain. CJW goes towards the rain and DHS begins to become mesmerized by her)

DHS: Do you like the rain?

(CJW doesn't respond and DHS keeps looking at her and eventually smiles)

(in his head) DHS: Ji Won only believes what she sees therefore she's quite easy

(DHS stops smiling and slightly backs up from the rain)

    5:01 - 8:59

    Spoiler

DHS: I know exactly what words Detective Cha wants from me

    CJW: I don't have anything I want

DHS: No, there is. You keep wanting to hear those words from me. "I may have lost memories about you, but my feelings are the same." That kind of lie

    (both are in tears)

CJW: When did I? When...did I say I wanted to hear those words?

(CJW looks away from him and cries before she turns back)

CJW: How could you forget about me? How could you forget, how could you do that? How we loved and how we've come this far. How could you be like that and forget?

DHS: Detective, I'm suspicious of you. Saying that I'm some sort of trustworthy person, I don't believe you. I've never felt emotions, but these feelings that I have when I look at you, Detective, what should I do?

CJW: Why don't you believe in yourself?

DHS: Detective, do you want to know? When you look at me, you're looking for a hidden piece of that person. You're become expectant of parts that you find are similar and disappointed when you discover parts that are different. But you know what, I hate that person. I don't wish to know him one bit

    (Both cry in the car)

DHS: The two of us (I'm not too sure what he says here) It's like we keep going around in circles. Detective, you run even if you just see my back and I run away because I don't want you to see me. In the end, we're unable to take a step forward

    8:59 - 16:15

Also, side note, I literally had to google about DHS's story about the name haha and then it finally clicked once I found out what he was talking about lol but there might be things I interpreted incorrectly there

    Spoiler

(DHS picks up the journal and flips through it stopping at a page)

(reading) DHS: I like the rain. When the rain comes, my voice gets higher and I smile at anything. Do I like the feeling of the cold rain? Or do I like the rain that blocks the noise?

    (CJW comes down)

CJW: Oh, you can't look at that

(DHS turns around and they see each other)

CJW: I was just cleaning up. If there's anything you need, feel free to take it. It'll become yours anyway. I was originally going to throw out those notebooks, but because it seemed like they were about me, I couldn't

(DHS looks at the business card)

DHS: By chance, did I choose the name for this workshop?

(The name for the workshop is The Space Where The Morning Star Stays)

    CJW: You did

DHS: Do you know what it means?

CJW: You told me to never ask. Looking back at it, I really didn't know anything

DHS: In Greek mythology, there was a blacksmith god by the name of Hephaestus (the Greek god of blacksmith and fire). He was the ugliest person in Olympus and all of the people didn't like him. Therefore all he had was blacksmith work. But even for him, he had a wife that he truly loved. In English, it's Venus, it means Venus (he says it in Korean). The morning star is Venus's unfolded appearance

(DHS kind of realizes what he's done and turns to face CJW)

DHS: In the space where I spent most of my time, I always thought of you, Detective Cha Ji Won

CJW: I applied for a transfer to Busan. A decision should be made soon

DHS: So, you...you're saying you're going to leave?

CJW: I need a new start in a new place, too

(I think it skips a little)

DHS: How, I just barely took a step closer to you. What should I do if you run away?

CJW: Expectations lead to disappointment and then more expectations and more disappointments. I can't do it anymore

DHS: Is there any way to change your mind?

    (DHS gets closer to CJW)

DHS: I'll really treat you well. I'll really love you

    (In the past)

CJW: I'll really love you from now on. I'll really treat you well

(DHS said it in the same fashion as her confession from back then)

    (Present)

DHS: The person that you're looking for, look for him with me. I'm now curious about him. I want to know

(CJW notices the bandages on his hands)

CJW: What's wrong with your hands?

DHS: I kept getting hurt (I don't know what he said from what) It's still strange for me

(CJW takes off the wedding rings she was wearing as a necklace and puts it on DHS's finger)

DHS: When I stand in front of you, I become nervous for no reason. I'm also afraid I might make a mistake

    CJW: Me, too

    (DHS and CJW kiss)

    16:15 - 18:42

    Spoiler

CJW: I have to pick up Eun Ha, do you want to go together?

    DHS: Will she like me?

    (CJW laughs)

    DHS: Why are you laughing?

    CJW: Why are you?

    DHS: Because you are

(DHS nervously waits for Eun Ha and his wedding ring is on)

    Eun Ha: Dad!

(DHS turns around to see Eun Ha who runs right up to him and hugs him and he remembers when she was a baby)

Eun Ha: Dad! I really really really missed you! Dad, did you buy me a present?

DHS: Huh? Sorry, I forgot to

Eun Ha: It's alright because you're my present. I like you the best in the world!

    DHS: Me... me too

(DHS starts to cry as Eun Ha hugs him again and DHS looks at CJW. He picks Eun Ha up and that's the family hug the series ended on)

    Kim Ji Hoon:

The finale of Flower of Evil will be broadcast tonight

    PS

    As we finish today's episode

It'll be an episode that leaves an afterglow

    Personally,

I wondered if there could even be a more perfect ending than this

    Come to think of it,

From the moment that I first read the script until the time that I filmed my last scene, all of those scenes go by in my head

I really worried and antagonized about how to make this person, Baek Hee Sung, from the script come alive,

But fortunately, even though I was really scary, I think I was able to receive a lot of love and these days I feel a sense of appreciation and pride

That I was able to be happy day after day while filming

And that I fulfilled one of my goals of creating a great project

The production and all of the staff who showed their best skills and did their best in all of their positions

And those that I was able to work together with and not able to

Who created the very bright characters from Man Woo and Mi Ja-sunbae to the youngest Eun Ha

I think it's because of all of the actors and actresses that appeared and that we were able to be together, my seniors and juniors

When we were together filming and once again as I was watching it, I was always in awe and learned a lot

The best actor, being able to work together with the staff

It was a project where I was able to once again feel 'There is such happy work like this as an actor'... I can't say it to everyone individually and am relaying my feelings through this...

    Thank you

For me as well, it's a project I'm committed to. I think it'll take a long time to take myself out of being Flower of Evil's Baek Hee Sung

Throughout this time, the drama Flower of Evil as well as Baek Hee Sung who did a lot of bad things,

I'm sincerely thankful to everyone to everyone who watched over us every week and who gave us love

    Lee Joon Gi's response:

Hyung, you really worked hard. You really did well. Thank you for letting me feel the pride of creating something together again~ Today is a bit sad

I feel that another episode would've done them well. I guess there was no way for them to logically, not saying that everything in this drama was logical, for him to take a bullet to the head and come out of the situation unscathed.

I guess I don't really know what I wanted, just a different ending than that haha. I don't know how they could've gone around wrapping this up sooner or if creating another episode would somehow drag out things or, if because this is a melo, they didn't want the end to see too happy for anyone. I just don't know

  11. So I don't know what I missed, if it was anything important...but we really just ended it with all of them hugging? I kinda wish we ended with the family meal that Hae Soo desperately wanted or that there'd just a single shot of that to end, Hae Soo traveling back from being abroad to all eat together.

And I guess her relationship with KMJ is pretty much on point with what I thought. It's open ended. They call each other and talk on the phone now that she's off traveling and it looks like, based on their interactions this episode, that she does like having him around and cares for him as a friend at least for now.

    But that ending lol.

    • DHS gets teary eyed remembering the interaction and he gets a phone call from a real estate person who has brought him to his actual house? I guess CJW put it up for sale
    • Yup, it's his house she brings him to
    • He enters behind her as she begins to talk about how it matches all of his qualifications and tells him to take his time looking around. I think she might just be renting out the workshop side maybe?
    • DHS walks around the workshop and picks up a notebook and begins paging through it stopping at a page that talks about how he likes the rain
    • CJW comes down at that moment telling him he can't look at that stuff, thinking it's just another person coming to look at the house but DHS turns around
    • CJW tells him she was just cleaning up
    • I'm not entirely sure what they're talking about but I think DHS is referencing himself in whatever story he's telling
    • DHS turns around to look at CJW and says that he thought about her in the long road he took
    • CJW brushes it off thinking that he's telling a lie, that and whatever he said to her in the past and reveals that she's leaving
    • CJW says that she's going someplace new to start anew and that it's a coincidence that he was doing the same thing

And now my stream kinda crashes haha

    • KMJ goes to Hae Soo's house and it's completely empty. He looks around it with a sad smile
    • Hae Soo goes out to drinks with KMJ and DHS where I think she says she wants to travel or something?
    • DHS tells her that it's a relief that she's able to find something she wants
    • KMJ says that he'll cheer for her and be on her side no matter what and says that he won't wait for her, with a nervous voice, and she laughs
    • KMJ leaves the two siblings alone and tells Hae Soo that they should see one another again before she leaves
    • Hae Soo looks a bit sad at that but motions for DHS to follow KMJ
    • He's outside of the restaurant crying and looking in when DHS sneaks up behind him and attempts to give him a comforting pat on the shoulder but can't bring himself to do it but eventually does
    • KMJ pushes him off and sits on the curb and DHS sits next to him
    • KMJ asks if he should wait for Hae Soo and DHS tells him to figure it out himself
    • KMJ says that he's going to forget about everything but it doesn't sound very convincing and I think he asks advice from DHS how to get amnesia and DHS says that the inside of his head has to explode asking if he should do it for him, I like their friendship now haha
    • I guess KMJ went to go see Hae Soo for the last time but she already left and that's why he was there
    • He gets a call from Hae Soo and they have a pleasant conversation as he asks her what she eats and what she's doing. It looks like she went overseas as he says it's morning and asks if he should send kimchi there
    • As they were packing, Hae Soo told DHS that he needs a starting point as to not lose the path as they were people who always lost their confidence wherever they went
    • DHS says that she's not going to be there and I think wonders who else but she tells him that he's the only one who knows
    • So he's walking along the street, past the building he and CJW were under when it rained during their date
    • He stands there and looks around and begins to remember

    • DHS comes back to KMJ's apartment and KMJ opens it up to show him a whole bunch of sweets?
    • KMJ asks him why he keeps buying them and tells him that he has a sickness
    • That's when KMJ notices he cried and DHS brushes it off asking why would he
    • KMJ thinks it's because of YJT and DHS says that he said he'll do it
    • KMJ figures then that DHS got hit by CJW and DHS said that that would've been better
    • KMJ asks if he's going to see Eun Ha and DHS says that he doesn't want to because what's the point when he doesn't remember
    • KMJ asks him what he's going to do then
    • DHS asks if the other person would get hurt I think about him not remembering and I guess separating himself?
    • CJW is at home alone and listens to the evidence again
    • She's with Eun Ha next who asks if her parents got a divorce and says that the other kids at school said that
    • CJW denies that but Eun Ha asks why he doesn't come home
    • CJW says that she hopes that DHS is happy and Eun Ha says she does as well
    • CJW says that DHS never lived freely and hopes that he's able to live like that at least once in his life
    • Hae Soo and CJW meet in prison
    • Hae Soo asks if it's hard because of DHS and she says that she's decided to forget him? She says that she now realizes she was a fool about everything
    • Did Hae Soo say that she wishes that CJW would go through a little pain?
    • We're back in court and DHS is in the audience, as well as CJW but she's sitting behind him
    • I think they just said she was found not guilty?
    • Everyone on the police team cheers to hear that
    • GMJ is in prison and DHS goes to visit her. Why does he have bandages on his fingers?
    • GMJ asks if he also looked for that other person (I missed some things probably because of the lagging)
    • DHS goes to see BMW next, who's in the hospital. Did he suffer a mental breakdown after the other events?
    • It looks like he did. He happily calls DHS Hee Sung and thinks that he's seeing the real BHS standing there
    • He's happy as he asks how he's been doing and saying that he waited for a long time
    • BHS asks if he waited long and BMW says he waited every single day for him
    • BMW is just loading the praises onto the image of BHS he thinks he sees and DHS looks a little taken aback at first, I guess anyone would be
    • Oh, I guess he's giving GMJ an update on BMW's condition
    • I think he asked GMJ for the story, or what kind of person someone was (the stream keeps loading) but it seems like she answers something leaving him stunned

    • They manage to talk to YJT at a cafe
    • DHS asks what sort of thing he did against him and it seems like he spread the rumor about DHS in the village?
    • DHS asks that he says what he says at the trial
    • YJT says that he works at a school and i don't think wants to ruin his job
    • DHS tells him to do what he has to but he hopes that he'll help them in their search and also says that he's forgiving him so he hopes that YJT will stop feeling guilty towards him
    • Later in the car, CJW tells him that forgiving someone isn't easy so DHS must've had a hard time but DHS says that it was easy because it was a lie
    • DHS gets a call from YJT who agrees for the evidence, feeling that he must do it
    • DHS notices CJW looking slightly uncomfortable, is it because how he just deceived her?
    • She asks what kind of thoughts she's thinking and DHS calls her out for thinking that he's not the person she knew
    • In tears she asks if he's doing that on purpose and DHS says that he's someone with the inability to feel and someone who can lie and it seems like she doesn't know that about him
    • KMJ is at home looking for DHS and seems shocked to find something in the fridge?
    • I think DHS said that he knows how to use emotions and basically use people and knows what CJW wants him to say but she says that there is nothing
    • DHS says that there is and that she wants to hear him say something
    • The kind of lie that CJW wants him to say is that he may have lost his memories but his feelings about her stay the same
    • They're both in tears and CJW asks when she said she wants to hear that kind of thing
    • She begins to ask him how he could forget after everything they went through, how he could just leave her to remember everything
    • In tears, DHS is saying that he can't believe her but I think he does feel something when he looks at her
    • CJW asks why he doesn't believe in himself and I think he says that she just thinks he's the past version and he says that he doesn't want to know that person and hates them
    • I think DHS said that in the end, neither of them will be able to move on, CJW from what she wants to see and I guess him from the person he doesn't remember being
    • They both break down in the car even more

    • KMJ is giving Hae Soo an update and mentions how CJW is like an angel for putting up with him
    • KMJ says that DHS changed a little after waking up
    • Hae Soo says that it's probably not that he changed, he probably went back to being the original DHS
    • Turns out tha DHS is living together with KMJ
    • Hae Soo tells KMJ not to come visit her because she's shy even with wearing the prison clothes, which KMJ tells her looks good on her
    • Hae Soo says that she quickly wishes that all of them can sit around one table and eat together, her, DHS, CJW, Eun Ha, and KMJ
    • CJW and DHS go to visit the house of the person but no one's answering even though they said they were going to be home
    • CJW tries to call and is unable to get in contact with them and DHS says that they're obviously avoiding them
    • CJW says that the person on the phone clearly said they would talk with them but she gets a text of that person saying they can't do it
    • DHS wants to leave but CJW tells him that they should wait and try to convince him and so they do
    • It starts to rain and CJW goes to look at it
    • That image either makes DHS remember or fall in love with her again haha
    • He goes to stand next to her and asks her if she likes the rain. CJW sticks her hand out in it and DHS turns to watch her with a smile on his face
    • It's then that he starts remembering when he said that CJW only believes what she sees and how he thinks she's easy
    • Eun Ha is drawing and CJW's mom asks if she hates her dad and Eun Ha says she doesn't but her grandma wants to know why she's not drawing her dad in the picture
    • Eun Ha says that if she draws him, her mom will cry and she'll feel bad for her
    • She's under the impression that her father left for a trip and just didn't take them
    • DHS suggests that CJW leave and he can wait there by himself but she's still looking at the wedding ring
    • CJW asks why he didn't take it off
    • DHS seems flustered but he takes it off in the end to give to her
    • CJW then notices someone coming towards them and it's the person who originally said they have evidence
    • He runs when he sees them but DHS is able to easily catch up and asks if he did something wrong towards him
    • Yang Ji Tae, is his name, and tells DHS he's sorry

  12. My stream started lagging a little bit so I missed some parts

    • They're at the court room for Hae Soo's trial about the foreman's murder
    • DHS enters and takes the stand
    • They begin to question him about what happened saying he was the first one to arrive on scene
    • There's a flashback to back then as DHS narrates how he took the weapon
    • KMJ comments on how well DHS is doing
    • CJW says that he has to do well for the other questionings as well
    • The police force are talking amongst themselves, my stream started lagging, when something they say makes CJS think of something
    • The next person asks DHS how he could perfectly lie and brings up his inability to feel
    • I think DHS is thinking about how he actually can feel and thinks about how he told CJW he loves her. He's looking at her while spinning the wedding ring on his finger
    • I think KMJ said something about how DHS will make it look like the other evidence will look like a lie?
    • DHS and KMJ leave together and DHS notices CJW leaving
    • DHS says that it's because of CJW, that the moment their eyes met his mind went blank but when they see each other, they give a slight bow and DHS pretends to look somewhat happy
    • CJW gets a call from CJS and informs him that it didn't go that well from their side
    • KMJ asks if he's aware of CJW or not and when DHS replies that he's uncomfortable and when KMJ pretends that she's there, DHS immediately looks around. KMJ says it again and DHS asks if KMJ thinks he's an idiot and hits him haha
    • DHS says that even when he thinks about it his chest is stuffy
    • Turns out she's actually standing there as she tells him that they have somewhere to go because CJS found some evidence that'll help them, or a person that'll help
    • In their conversation in the car, CJW accidentally calls DHS 'Honey' and she apologizes

    • DHS said he thought he woke up in the hospital due to the car accident and thought it was 2005. It was like he was going backwards
    • DHS stumbles outside of the hospital room where CJW is standing there and sees him
    • He begins to approach her but it's not to approach her, it's to walk right by her
    • CJW calls him 'Honey' and he turns around only to see her police badge and begins to back away thinking she's there to capture him
    • He stumbles but continues to run away from her, despite falling over multiple times as CJW chases after him yelling 'Honey'
    • DHS makes it to the front entrance where there's police around but there are also reporters who begin to question him
    • I think the police are giving something about how BMW and GMJ conspirited and about how BHS was the one with the murders and we see that they dig up the fingernails in the backyard
    • Hae Soo is in prison and KMJ goes to see her
    • I think DHS called himself a psychopath for deceiving someone and how someone shouldn't forgive him
    • CJW tells him it's because he doesn't understand their relationship
    • DHS says that he can't say what CJW wants him to say
    • CJW tells him that there's nothing she wants but there is something she's curious about and she begins to ask about the wedding ring but stops herself and calls him Hee Sung again
    • DHS says that he understands, just assuming she's getting him mixed up with someone else she's working with
    • CJW says that she came to support DHS but she just must give him more pressure
    • DHS says that he doesn't know if he'll do well and she tells him that he just has to do as he practiced and goes to leave

    • Turns out DHS's parents aren't coming to the wedding
    • CJW is worried that they would regret it and DHS said that they can just have a 2nd one
    • DHS says that it's fine because it's just an event and CJW thinks that it's sad for there not to be any parents but DHS tells her that she's the only one for him
    • CJW and who I presume are DHS are talking and did he really lose his memories? She talks about how she last saw him at the doctor 2 weeks ago and now how 4 months have passed
    • After the shooting, CJS checked and said that DHS was breathing at least but they shouldn't move him and went to get the ambulance
    • CJW is in the ambulance reporting on DHS's condition and we learn that BHS died
    • CJS tells CJW to hang on even if it's hard
    • Rookie looks like he's having a hard time and boss can only put his arm around his shoulder to comfort him as they walk away
    • DHS goes through some scans and it looks like he has a fracture in his skull?
    • CJW is getting the update but they don't really know when he'll wake up
    • CJW puts his wedding ring back on
    • CJS comes and visits and CJW begins to worry about the team but CJS tells her to only worry about herself
    • CJW tells him that if they fight together, they'll certainly win
    • In voice over she says that she didn't know that she wouldn't see that person again
    • CJW tells the person she's sitting across from to say something, to say anything and asks if she makes him uncomfortable
    • It's DHS and he is wearing the wedding ring still
    • CJW tells him that she hopes he's not too uncomfortable and says that she and him can get closer slowly again
    • He calls her Detective and says that she just called him Hee Sung, his name is Hyun Soo
    • It looks like he was dreaming about the incident when he was in a coma or something? Or it's more like all of the moments of him and CJW together

  13. Who knows, maybe down the line somewhere they'll be able to collaborate again in some capacity haha. I feel if they actually dated, though, that Lee Joon Gi might get a reputation for dating his labelmates lol.

But I was watching Iljimae recently and noticed that what I believe is the cliff that appeared in the last episode was also used there haha.
