I just checked out fdjp.com (a website where we can bid tickets for Japan concert), ad OMG TOHOSHINKI's concert ticket is the most expensive one..I know its highly demand and sold out like in a few minutes..You can see the price difference with other Japan big artists here:

I've visited the site before as recommended by a friend, but I didnt know the prices. but...do some of the profit go to Avex/boys? the prices are more than triple the original prices. even if they're fanclub tickets. FC seats aren't even out yet, right? it'd be nice if you pay about 50,000 yen but could be guaranteed an arena seat. but honestly, at the price they're selling, i'm just hoping some of them goes back to the producers and our boys.
fans would do anything to see/hear/witness Toho. but if fans are selling these, I think it's quite ridiculous. it's even more ridiculous if it's an external company profiting because of the boys. i'm sounding a bit hypocrite since I actually got a ticket double the price but just seeing a 300,000 yen ticket of what could've been only a 6000-yen seat is really unbelievable.

I really dont get y everyone hates yoochuns hair when its long! I like it and also i like it when his hair is short too! It's not our opinions that counts is Yoochuns! It's his hair so its his choice! I no I have a little thing we can do!
that's true, but then again, image is part of their package. so, fans couldn't help comment about these things.
Yoochun, though doesn't go with the flow. he goes with what he likes, what he feels. his hairstyle [i.e fashion] is his expression of his unique. that's what i really like about him. he's had so many various hairstyles but all seemed to make him look good - or he makes the hairstyles look good...? it's just a good way to see how the boys kinda view themselves. i mean, if we kinda compare him to Jaejoong, we can see that Jae does care how he's gonna be viewed, in quite a vain fashion perhaps? but yeah, JJ seems to stick to one type of hairstyle, just different lengths, because he knows [and his stylists know] that he looks good with it. I think JJ is a little apprehensive risking a hairstyle. lol. I see Yoochun as the type to say "well, hair grows anyway. why not try a different one?"
lol, i'm in the mood to analyze our boys. sigh.
anywayz, I wanna re-mention BokuraNoOngaku's performance. Lion Heart's my new obsession. nothing against SMAP but I think Lion Heart's made for Tohoshinki
. ugh, it sucks saying this cause I feel like disrespecting SMAP. not my intention. but I keep listening to the boys' version of Lion Heart and it saddens me a bit that the song wasn't their own. Kinda like, I'm happy they sang it but if only it's their own song. anyway, I hope SMAP and their fans liked the boys' rendition. I think they did justice to the song. -
And can anyone pm me about getting areana tour concert ticket in osaka please? I want to attend the concert this year but idk how to reserve or buy the ticket. i cant read japanese too. if anyone in japan is willing to help, please pm me. thank you
tickets for this tour are really hard to get ahold of for an international fan - unless you're a Bigeast member. you can't really reserve/buy a ticket now. i'm not sure if tickets are still sold in Family Market, but that's only if you're in Japan. fanclub tickets have already been sold/auctioned off[?] to fanclub members as well. so if you're a late Bigeast member, you still wont be able to get/buy tickets.
you're best options are to 1) ask around friends if they know anyone selling or 2) do auction - which really costs A LOT of money. if you're willing to pay double or triple the initial price, then you should do that. even so, it's still based on luck. sigh.
the boys, SM and/or Avex should do something for international fans, esp those outside Asia. like a North American and/or European tour? *shrugs* I can dream, can't I?

I'm very very very happy for our boys and proud of the fans. 100K within just two days! This year's tour is gonna be amazing. if FITB was the birth of them performing in an arena, TSC will be that album containing their most sold singles so far. Maybe they really do need to do a Dome tour, even just for a finale. if so, Avex need to HURRY and announce it so fans can start planning...
as for the album tracks itself, i'm looking forward seeing TAXI and 9095 performed live. Taxi is an amazing ballad that I couldn't tire of listening, sort-of like Doush'te. 9095, on the other hand, is so un-Tohobang-like. when I first heard it, I couldn't visualize the boys singing it. it was really different from the usual Toho mid-tempo[?] ballads. It's amazing that it's my our very own Jaedork who arranged/composed it.

I wanted to correct that, NO THEY AREN'T COMPETING WITH ANY JE BAND (so far) FOR THE RELEASE OF "WE ARE". NEWS would be releasing a week later than TOHOSHINKI. There had been a confusion of dates with the NEWS release but they recently finalized that it would be out on April 29. I honestly don't think they should bump with another JE band as of now though. Though two singles later would be okay. It is fine to go against JE singles from time to time, but not consequently.
but why??? is it because of how Toho will be placed in the chart, the ranking? while I see the importance of ranking, I think number of sales are way more significant - at this point in their career. we've already seen how the boys will fare if they release a single alongside lesser [or of equal] popular artists. so why not this time go against bigger artists?
if a fan truly wants to buy a single, they will buy it regardless of who's coming out at the same time. but that's the way I see it. maybe Avex will actually think they shouldn't go against JE or another bigger artist for some time. but if the reason's all about the ranking - meaning our boys won't be guaranteed topping daily or oricon chart - i think that's such a shallow reason. but again, that's how I view it. *shrugs*

thanks for this, Aiz. I think they sang Kotoba ni dekinai quite okay. i guess nothing really beats the original. Kazumasa Oda has such a unique voice that he owns songs he sings. I didn't like Jae's Lalala part actually. but, i think when the 5 of them sang together, that was the best part of the rendition.
Lion Heart was better. they put their Toho-flavour in the song.

contrary to the popular opinion, i'm all for the JP-JK lovin'!!! I just love the fiancee's character. i dont know but I want to see more jealous JanDi. it's always JunPyo who's jealous of the JH-JD bond. not thinking of the manga or the Japanese version, but I want JP and JK to develop a relationship the way Jandi is with Jihoo.
with all the hints they're throwing at us, this version better have a VERY satisfying ending for the YiJung-GaEul characters!

this drama has so many discernible flaws, that if it weren't for LMH's characterization of JunPyo i'd drop it like a hot potato without batting my lashes... with that being said, it is truly what someone described it before: guilty pleasure. I just couldn't not watch the drama. i need to know what happens. if only i could just enjoy seeing so many JD-JH scenes, perhaps i could enjoy the drama despite of the obvious flaws here and there.
altho i think it'll be ok for me even if JD ends up with JH. as long as JunPyo will be 100% happy with someone else coughJKcough. (i like her!)
on a side note, JiHoo's [KHJ's] new hairstyle reminds me of a certain idol member's hairstyle from before, who is KHJ's bestfriends with as well, KJJ of the dbsk fame. but that's just me.

I understand what you mean uruchai and that was also my impression when JP said those words in that, pretending or not, he was actually letting her go, giving closure to their relationship. Here is my dilemma, how will JD now react when JP decides to come back to her? From JD's reaction after he said those words, it was almost like JP physical punched her. I hope the scriptwriter will have a very valid reason for JD to accept JP back into her life.

and it was really a punch to the face. for sure, linking it to real-life, no girl would want to be called a stain - esp after all those JP did just to earn her affection. looking it at JP's point of view [as i find myself always doing], i think he feels being EXTREMELY harsh will be the easiest way out of that ordeal. being cruel is easy to him so he used that method to break away from her. and again, we know our JP is not the most tactful person. I think he *rarely* considers the consequences of his actions, more so his words. btw, someone mentioned that LMH might get typecasted in this role...? i hope he doesnt. the boy can act. perhaps he can go the JooJiHoon-way: tackle a serious drama right away after BOF, to get away from his BOF character - then delve into movies. he can be comedic; he can be dramatic actor. and people might disagree, but I think he's the jewel of the drama.
oh and i wanna add that maybe some don't like the tone of the very intense drama in ep14, but i actually find it better in the case of GHS. i actually appreciated her as an actress during those scenes than her being overtly comical facial expressions - and of course her yelling.

You're welcome bellaangel012. Without sounding repetitious, I really have a problem with JP's words to her because it was too cruel, it's almost like he physically spat on her. Maybe the scriptwriter wanted this scene to be more dramatic but, being a woman, I don't think I'd want to have anything to do with this guy again, ever. What I expect JD to say the next they see each other is "don't ever come near me again; you're the nightmare I want to forget."
I actually think it's really IN-CHARACTER of JunPyo. I wanna echo what I read from dramabeans about JP's character [in this particular version]: he is originally cruel but managed to tone down with JanDi - instead of the typical male lead pretending to be cruel but a kind one in the inside. Even at a young age, JP already has tendency of being really harsh. (I think even in the manga it says that Domyouji reverts back to his violent, harsh self when he goes through breakup(s) with Makino. not so sure I didnt read the manga in its entirety).
with JP saying that, we clearly see his resolve to forget Jandi - or at least his pretend-resolve, cause we clearly knows that part of his reason he's adhering to his mom is also to protect JanDi from more of evil mommy's cruelty.
anyway, i think i can say this now with already 14 episodes i've seen: Go JunPyo is [arguably] the best Domyouji adaptation for me. they were able to provide some good character complexities more than the Jpn version. if i'm gonna make my own HYD adaptation, i'll probably have him as Tsukasa, Inoue as Makino, Oguri as Rui, matsuda as soujiro, and cause i like both actors kim joon and abe as akira. unfortunately i dont live in my dream world!

... Damn, some of you guys are BRUTALLY mean when it comes down to Hyunjoong.
So lemme sum up what I'm about to say: If his acting is SOOOO bad that it makes you cringe, why do you still watch it. I'm sure BOF doesn't need your sorry eyes watching the drama, really.
What makes me cringe is that people that literally squashes a person's hard work (despite how you feel about the person ability to act). Hyunjoong is trying -- don't take aspect away from him...
Personally, Hyunjoong's acting isn't bad, considering singer-became-actor.
your second statement is a little unfair. people are entitled to express their opinion, just like you are. for me personally, I'm not fond of his acting at all. I tend to find myself to fast forward his scenes. I am watching because of something/someone else. hence why other people are still watching despite *cringing* at another actor's acting.
but yes, i do agree at some extent that people [myself included] have been a little unfair towards him. actually, I think he's getting better as of late. I really think my first impressions of the JiHoo-portrayal were quite detestable, that I'm having a hard time bringing myself to re-like the character.
and honestly, it doesn't help when I read that his fans are *allegedly* asking for him having more screentime, thus BOF producers adhering to it...? it just doesn't sound right to me. *shrugs shoulders*

remember to use いる・いない when talking about living things, ある・ない is just for objects
でしょう is stronger than かもしれない, かもしれない is like 'might', a 50/50 chance..でしょう is more like 'probably', not sure which you were aiming for. but it's also かもしれない, not かもしりない

I know they're following the manga, but JH really pales in comparison to JP.
I suppose they're trying to give more parts to Hyunjoong since some of his fans have complained that the drama sort of "used" Hyunjoong because of his popularity.
I really, really hope that's not true. I mean, I myself is getting a little frustrated with the every-now-and-then scenes of Jihoo and JanDi. but then again, I understand them exploring that soulmate vs. husband concept from the Caledonia episode. but... they made the Rui/Jihoo character quite detestable in the beginning, that I can't quite bring myself to re-like the Rui character. I find myself forwarding their scenes. altho I really think i'm foolishly biased towards the actor playing the part.
and i'm probably one of the few, if not the only one who thinks this: about time Jandi deserves it a little to feel jealous/ignored.

that's one of the biggest screw ups this version made. Not making the Jihoo-Jandi couple likeable enough. Therefore the triangle fails.. because we don't understand why JD keeps going to JH, which is making some people find her too indecisive/annoying etc.

yes, completely agree. it's the way the character JiHoo was portrayed in the earlier eps. now, he's friend-you-can-turn-to, friend-you-can-lean-on-to, friend-you-can-talk-to... but honestly, i'm a little apprehensive about him, or not convinced that he's gonna be the Rui I know, who's gonna step back for Domyouji but still maintains deep friendship with Tsukushi. watching JiHoo, at times I have a feeling that he'll lose it any moment and decide to "betray" JP once again.
i think this "unlikeable" character of JiHoo [from earlier eps] was very well explained by dramabeans in her summary.
but, I'm not doing this to attack the actor playing JiHoo. i understand that this is a different version, therefore dont compare to Oguri Shun (altho really hard not to...) and that KHJ is a new actor. still... one can't help compare and one can't help wish he was a much better expressive actor.

EPISODE 9? Yes, Woobin was there... "HEY MAN, WHOA! WHOA! WHOA", remember?
and since Woobin's character was never given an importance to the story at all, I guess we dont have to feel bad for him. He is just defined as a man who is surrounded with women in the family. and his mother acts like a younger woman that's why he wants to date older woman. and that he is F4's peacemaker...that's it. There's no further progress in Woobin's character in the manga...... so if BOF PDs didn't progress Woobin's character too, I wouldn't blame them.
oh deng. i meant Ep10 as many have also noticed. so he really weren't in any of the scenes eh?
and about arashi's subs/blog - it's truly unfortunate. so i'll just wait for KBSworld to air it. but in case a KBSWorld subber is here, please read: make your subs as good as a fansubber, if not better. you guys are getting paid but doesn't really reach/maintain the level of quality a fansubber has.

Thanks for that. I've been so miserable but you actually made me laugh. I will be patient and hope for the best outcome. It just irks me because episode 13 will be the entrance of the fiancee and I'm scared of how the relationship will turn out if she does not step up. The mom, I am not so scared of because I know how that part ends per MG. But, in this version, I don't know how the fiancee's part will be portrayed because I've seen MG2 and I didn't like it. I have not seen JP version of HYD.in the JP version, the fiancee [as i remember] was a cool gal. I actually like her. and if i'm not mistaken [correct me if i'm wrong], she was present during Makino and Domyouji's wedding in the movie.

the actress playing JunPyo's mom is outstanding. the death glare she gave JunPyo and JanDi during the AnyPop event was quite terrifying. that right there is an excellent actress. you can clearly see what she's thinking, how she's feeling even without words. amazing!
i'm also eagerly awaiting the episode where Jandi initiates a loving gesture towards JP. Because I have to admit, watching her and JiHoo's scenes makes me think she's still likes JiHoo more than JP. but after reading earlier posts discussing this issue, i'm not pacified a bit that her actions [or lack thereof] towards JP are quite understandable. I just wanna see that spart. cause right now, it's all JP showing it. you can really tell JP is smitten by her.

They need to give WooBin his storyline, even just a short one. something that will make us all feel that he is INDEED part of the "Boys" in the title. right now, he's just a side-side character. kinda like in a plate wherein you have a sidedish that you pay so much attention to [KimBum] and something that you never notice until everything's eaten up. They need to give him an equal amount of importance [airtime?] as part of the F4. *shrugs* that's one of my minor complaints.
nonetheless, the drama has really delivered for me. I still have some petpeeves [like how Jandi has her head almost always bowed down. gives a wrong impression on me; or the lack of smooth transition between scenes. sometimes it just jumps next one.]
ep9 is satisfactory. arguable, i feel that LMH/Junpyo is really becoming the drama's jewel. I just look forward to seeing him.

I know it was the 2nd と but I didnt get what made it so wrong. I guess I was thinking about the sentence in English. I failed to realize that it does sound unnatural in Japanese. so thanks to both for explaining it fully. my textbook doesn't seem to explain some things very well.

as for the weekly ranking in the album department, i'm truly happy for the boys. and i feel this time around, the success is so much sweeter. from dancing on a school stage covered with newspapers to a possibility of Tokyo Dome, and also the consistency of the album sales... ah, they've come a long way in Japan. really happy for them. it feels good to be a Toho fan.
