Considering President Gu's reactions to chaebol Cho's surprise visit, and the actions taken after Cho's statements on dr. Oh, dr. Joo, Jin Woo, No Eul, plus his statement about he knowing what Hwajeong is capable after 10 years around them, you don't think he's witnessed countless suspicious events and who knows, maybe he himself was threatened, let's not forget that he has also soft spots... parents. In my opinion, he is trying to diminish the evil that could come from Hwajeong. He is not a black knight, but a man who wants to survive in a battle without chances of winning and with no turning points... because he already faced that law is not applied to everybody.
And Ye Jin Woo has never experienced something like that, so everything seems possible and he does not think about serious repercussions. We will see in the end the conclusion regarding those actions.Maybe, all alone you can't do anything but if they will unite the result might be the right one; I hope dr. Oh will be safe, otherwise dr. Jin Woo will live with some guilt.
Just two weeks remained... sobbing...:(

It's a psychological warfare between KYS who cares abt the victims & JJH who uses it to get a light sentence. JJH will be using Busan accent & said he worked on his diction, body & facial expressions every day. Kim Tae Gyun said he cast him because he was impressed w him in Asura.

The problem is not the existence of doctors specialised in certain field, but the number of approved jobs (by Health Ministry in general) in this case being a privatized hospital, by President and Board of Administration. Once finishing their residency, doctors have to find a job, it is not provided by the hospital in which they do it. At least not in my country; very few of them will get a job in the same hospital.

First: the machine is not used for the procedure itself : it creates a replica after a tissue/organ, this way you could do a simulation before the op. And also is good to practise for residents, etc...
Also , there might be genius Phd, but when comes to surgery department some are having two left hands, couldn't take on spot decisions, so is hard for the entire team. And time in some surgeries is precious, you could not afford loosing time because because the student is a hard learner. And not all of them are extremely smart just because they passed lots of tests.
If dr. Oh learned a lot ( I'm sure that was the case) she will have many expectations and less patience.

I fell once again for this actor. Just watching him immersed in the character is beyond imagination; and knowing that every character is completely different. My sincere applause ( cannot but thinking how proud his mother could be).

Oh my God! Lee Soo Yeon has something, and can be trusted. SPOILER !
SpoilerSo, the death of Lee Bo Hun will come to grips thanks to the second incident. And maybe president Gu was elected to that position because he is dispensable, he is not from the family. We need to remember what he said to orthopedics chief about what it means to fight against conglomerates...It turns out very ugly... But if I remember correctly someone said something about second murder, talking about LSY style of writing and bringing tension.
The puzzle pieces starting to find their place. More of the above will be next week, right now just started. Loved everything from this drama so far, and maybe even more in the upcoming weeks. And looks like time flies too quickly and only 6 ep. remained

I think that president Gu is somehow daunting, maybe wants dr. Joo more bold, more out of his shell, or maybe he wants to get a side effect from voters ( if the president does not want him as a director, let's do it, to the president despite) .

Is hard when you know that all the eyes are upon you, and doesn't matter how good you'll do, someone will be there to find the slightest mistake and badmouth everything. I hope in the meantime he prepared his voice ( and will think about quit smoking which will help to maintain his voice longer ).

@bedifferent , the best analysis I've read so far.
Just an opinion: I have the feeling that Gu will not approve dr. Joo as director, dr.Oh provided better qualities for this position; defended her department from restructuring team asking for official document, holding lectures for residents in her free time, keeping her team under control and supervising everything.
As you said dr. Gu needs to survive himself so, as said in the previews, he always has a backup plan; because... he always lived like that? Watching his back not to make mistakes and being fired, who knows what layers remain to discover regarding his character.
Seon Woo, I don't want to pity more than that his character... The actor proved once again that stage actors bring something more to their characters, despite the conviction that they might overact.
No Eul, I need some more for making an impression on her character or her acting.
