I also don't think Jesse McCartney suits the role of Edward.
Sure, the guy is decent looking but he doesn't have the vibe like everyone else mentioned.
Plus, he doesn't act much and no offense to his fans but his acting is not that great. ^^;
I really can't think of anyone else for the role but Robert Pattinson.
