Mell, I was team Baek Inho too! I read the webtoon and didn't find the character sympathetic, but SKJ really made me root for him. It is really a shame about all the controversies with the drama. The settings, mood and OST were all really good.

And also, Bogum has mentioned that he'd like a to act in a school uniform. I think he'd be awesome as a college sunbae too. A la Yoojung in Cheese in the Trap.

I LOVE our badges. We were Taektanic, and we became Taektanium. We made the 1% choice that became the winner and now we have the medals to show for it ♥ And I love that we are still doing rewatching sessions and analyzing episodes.
By the way apparently VIKI has subbed some of Reply 1988's episodes and their subs' quality are even better than DramaFever. This week keeps getting better and better.

daebak I was a fan of Park Bogum ever since he shot Blind but up until he shot Reply he was never that precise with his ideal typesㄷㄷㄷThis is the real deal... He never talked (about ideal types) like this before.. I watched about 10 interviews of him before and in the 10 of them, he always has been so vague saying how the heart was important...... be happy....

Hi everyone! First time posting here
After Reply 1988, I watched the drama Tomorrow's Cantabile because he was there. He was really believable as a conductor, and I really love this scene below:

I like that they gave him this scene, as a sort of closure for his feelings for Naeil, and also as a beginning for his career in conducting.

For me, when I watched episode 6 I realized that I really loved TK and can't bear to see his heart breaking. I actually thought that I should just skip all the remaining episodes and only watch when the husband is announced. Haha of course that plan failed.
Then I planned to distance myself from wishing that they'll end up together but the beautiful beach date scene just sucked me in totally and made me invested. Another failed plan.
Finally I decided that the heart likes what it likes and went looking for kindred souls. I'm glad I found this thread.
By the way @Meliere , it was your post here that really made a believer out of me. Are you Ancestor Dong Ryong in disguise?

But seriously how close Hyeri and Bogum are? They can link arms with each other, hugs freely, Hyeri doesn't even hesitate to touch/caress Bogum's face, even calls him her husband in one interview. I feel like if they both got caught in a dating scandal together people would reply "Eh, but these two friends are originally close, I'm sure it is nothing".

Just finished watching episode 3. That Sobangcha dance was really good
In the teaser for Youth Over Flowers GKP did the same cartwheel I think.
TK was really quiet this episode, almost expressionless. Even his appearance looked totally different in these early episodes. The scene when he looked at the trip notice alone, he really looked like a lonely 18 year old boy. But even so he did it without saying anything, or even showing much on his face.
I find it remarkable how he started to change from episode 6. Even in his appearance, he became so much attractive. This drama was my first time watching PBG act so I when it suddenly sank to me that Choi Taek is good looking it was like I was blindsided. So even just making a decision to confess to DS made his life that much brighter. Did he think he wasn't allowed to, before?
DS misplaced/forgot things twice today. From other episodes we know this is not normal occurrence. I wonder if this is meant to signify something too.

If we are still analyzing scripts like we did when the show was on air, we would take note how many of these reporters wrote that PBG is Choi Taek himself. Like a camera lingering a tad second too long on a scene, these multiple emphasize are pointing us to something...
Therefore I want to propose a reason for Bogum's very humble and diplomatic answers on the husband questions. He is displaying baduk etiquette. He won, after all. You go Choi Sabeom-nim!
On a more serious note, I think he must know how divided viewers are on the eonamryu and eonamtaek front. Focusing his answer on Deoksun: "I’ve always thought Hyeri should get married to a person she can be happy with." is a smart move. It changes the direction of questioning from whoever is more worthy or fought harder etc.

An actor who answered (my questions) sincerely while smiling brightly throughout the whole interview. So that made me follow suit and feel better as well. I was #UhNamRyu though… But I’ve jumped ships to Taekie after meeting Bogum-ie today…♡
While working, I’ve met a lot of good looking actors like #LeeJungJae, #GongYoo, #KimBeomSoo, #KangDongWon etc, but for me I think Park Bogum-ie is the best out of them…ㅋㅋsince it’s my personal preference

When all four were astonished: "50,000,000 KRW?" Look at Taek's eyes, probably wondering would this change how his friends perceive him. Then he looked at DS, waiting for a cue? Hurrah for DS knowing exactly what to say: asking for Tteokbokki. DR, SW and JH all looked at DS and follow her lead.
Here she always knows what to do in regards with TK. No wonder she thought she knew everything about him.

One of the disadvantages of shipping is you'll have a hard time when the actor/actress move on to a different drama and different pairing. Of course you can't help which pairing you like, but to be hateful of the new pairing is just unfortunate for all. Plus, I think doing that is disregarding the hard work that Bogum is doing to commit to his character.
It is important to recognize that it is your own issue (not moving on, or inability to suspend disbelief), rather than blaming the actors and actresses, even the fans of the new pairing.
