One more post regarding this couple photoshoot thing!
I know we typically aren't encouraged to mention other stars/couples here, but since I am only stating facts and eluding to them in a positive light, I think it should be okay?
Koo Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun from the drama Blood posed for a series of super sweet photos AS A NEWLY WED COUPLE (well technically the wedding ceremony took place after the mag was out, but he proposed, she said yes and they went public before doing the photo shoot) for Marie Claire earlier this year!
So could people stop the non-sense that doing couple shoots = bad news for the ship?!

And what's up with people being sad, worried, disappointed or having mixed feelings about them doing a photoshoot together??? I think it's safe to say that I am one of the biggest JongJoo shipper, am I not??? This whole myth about "real couples don't do photoshoots together" is just completely untrue, otherwise why would I have been so vocal about wanting to see their couple photoshoot???
If and when they go public about being a couple, then yes, they probably wouldn't get many offers to appear together in a CF or magazine spreads etc, due to concerns that if the couple break up in the future it may damage whatever brands they are representing/showcasing. But that's only after they have gone public, and even married couples still get offers to appear in CFs and magazines together- just less often!
And who cares if they didn't spend the entire two days after the FM work-free? Well of course we wouldn't know for sure whether they are currently in a relationship or if they have started dating, but surely doing a photoshoot together isn't mutually exclusive with a romantic relationship? And hey, now we have solid proof that they WERE with each other during their time in Tokyo AT LEAST during the photoshoot, instead of not having met at all like some people were insisting.
Why am I speaking in bold like I am shouting? Well because I indeed am "raising my voice" LOL.
OK that's quite enough of a rant from me. Let me turn off the bold and just write like a normal person hahaha.

After W has ended it's so hard to see JongJoo in the same frame and now we have them in one frame!!! And they look as compatible as ever!!!!!! And they look happy to be in each other's company!!!!!! I can't wait to see the actual photos!!!!!! If I have any complaint it's a minor one- I think Jong-suk is showing too little skin...
Wait, did I just write that? I am sorry if that sounds perv, but I was really looking forward to them going for a sexy style... Okay okay not showing skin CAN be sexy too, I shouldn't judge prematurely!

O, M, G I didn't think it was possible for me to be even more enamored with HJ than I already was but... Wow she is absolutely gorgeous in her latest airport pics
So elegant, sweet, warm, and of course pretty! LOL now I have a long shopping list, the W soundtrack, the W photobook, Marie Claire October issue, one of the Burberry coat HJ "showcased"... I actually love the rings she's been wearing, but jewelry is the one thing I like to stay individualized. Hahaha HJ is doing damage to my wallet!

Actually, if you take a look at PMH's IG account the way he posed with Hyo-joo is no more intimate than how he posed with other celebrities, female or male. I have seen many pictures in which Hyo-joo poses a lot more intimately with a guy than she does with PMH, her manager included- there was even one she had him in a judo lock and her legs were across his neck area that looked so... LOL but I am sure theirs is a siblings-like relationship.
And of course Hyo-joo is sexy, she would be pretty upset if no one considers her sexy at any time, including when she is clearly aiming for such effect by wearing very revealing dresses etc.

OK, so some bits and pieces I saw from fan reports of the JP FM:
- While a year ago LJS was still giving off the vibe of youthful beauty, this year he is full of manly charm that can even be described as sexy.
- After the FM has ended, JS had eye contact with and high-fived every single one of the 1,500 fans that showed up. There were quite a few grey-haired fans at the venue, as well as an ill girl who was on a wheelchair. JS made sure to get off the stage and personally greeted the 8-year old girl to the cheer of all the fans present.
- LJS's current popularity in Japan is astonishing considering the Hallyu boom has long subsided. Each of his two FM drew 1,500 people and in fact over 8,000 fans had applied for a seat at the FM. W will air in Japan in mid-October and it's already attracting a lot of interest.
Edited to Add- This time he answered that his ideal type "changes every year". HAHAHAHA what did he think he doesn't have fans in Japan who have been following him for years???

Hey guys remember earlier there was confusion about when LJS went to Ginza? I wasn't sure myself since at the time I only saw Chinese translation of fan reports but not the original Japanese fan report, now that I have seen it- so yes he did say he went to Ginza the night before the FM (and not on the day of the FM like a different version said). So interpret this however you want kekeke.
@maryofbethany Haha if you haven't encountered what we were describing then that's great, nah I think it's best that you stay clear from that part of fandom so your fandom experience doesn't get negatively impacted

Why should they go public just to calm your nerves though? Have you considered the fact that many celebrity couples broke up exactly because they were exposed too early, when their relationship was still too fragile to withstand the overwhelming amount of media coverage, pressure from both stars' fandoms, and other forms of public scrutiny? Do you want them to be happy, or do you just want them to make you happy by confirming that your theories are right, without caring if they form a healthy and long lasting relationship by revealing it only when they feel confident enough to

@alliamoon Yeah it's scary when fans feel such strong sense of entitlement, we can choose any second of the day to stop supporting a celebrity for whatever reason, maybe I just can't stand his new hairstyle or whatever LOL! But we absolutely have ZERO right to demand how they live their private lives.

@skittles87 Yeah I mentioned before how annoyed I was at the growing number of photoshopped JongJoo images being spread everywhere these days. Photoshopped images are only fun when they look obviously fake and the author has no intention to make it look real. So many fans fell for those very real-looking PSed images of JongJoo taking intimate selfies at the wrap-up parties, and even show them off as "proofs" when arguing with other fans and I was just... *facepalms headdesk*
Sorry you know usually what kind of fans make photoshopped images of their ship that try to look authentic? Other than those who are trying to advance their skills and say work for the graphics industry, only desperate stans desperate to falsify evidences that their ship is sailing because it doesn't seem to be the case in reality will do such a thing. I do think JongJoo have quite enough objective facts supporting their 'good relationship' (be it romantic or friendly) to not have to resort to making up fake evidences?
@lovely_skham The couple ring, couple socks, couple everything obsession is another one of my pet peeve. It's one thing to point out two people wearing exactly the same clothe because it's often obvious, though often wearing identical clothes don't mean much anyway, but rings and other tiny accessories that fans can't even get a clear picture of, especially when longtime fans have already told you that piece of jewelry has been worn by the star for years... it's just... There was a small crisis in one forum the other day when fans saw LJS wearing his pinky ring again, because he did not in his Seoul FM and some fans took it as evidence that he was dating HJ because wearing a pinky ring= being single in some Asian culture. Then since he was wearing the pinky ring again it must mean gasp OMG he broke up with HJ!!!11! I was so frigging annoyed I started laughing hysterically.
But on the flip side of the coin, the emergence of cray cray fan behavior is the unavoidable byproduct of any popular fandom, it means that JongJoo is now becoming a bigger fandom when it had a niche/inconspicuous following only two months ago

OMG and I love your descriptions of that moment! Exactly see how our perceptions are easily manipulated by the limited amount of information we are privy to. Before the release of these two or three recent BTS clips, it was almost a fandom consensus that LJS is the one who's obvious with his affections and that it was so hard to tell what HHJ was thinking, all we were comfortable to agree on was that she seemed to be fine with JS's constant touchings and staring so that's something? LOL then along came all these BTS that showed us a flustered and very much affected HHJ in various occasions, and her aloof image in our collective minds cracked
And I am sorry if people took my joke about MBC submitting the BTS clip literally! No they made the MV as part of a campaign/promotion for fans to vote for JongJoo (in their capacity as KC/YJ) in the best couple competition. It's just funny because other nominees are highlighting sweet moments IN THE DRAMA while ours is purely BTS. Well can't blame MBC since lovey dovey moments are comparably few in W and our couple are just so much sweeter in real life

Sigh, though I really want to tell guys to tone the xxxx down the stalking and what I consider a cardinal sin that is pestering the celebrities' staff, I know it's no use because people who visit this Soompi thread are already the sane ones, the cray cray crowd on IG simply cannot be controlled or reasoned. I think JS's staff already have had similar experience from the past (LOL, and I know for a fact that they are still being bothered by a certain group and now some JongJoo shippers have joined the madness), but this must be an eye-opening experience for Hyo-Joo's team. My only solace is that the cray cray club members comment almost exclusively in weird incomprehensible English or other non-Korean Asian languages, so the impact is somewhat softened (still annoying though). I have been and still am a non-shipper fan of a few other stars, and I still loathe certain shipper fans with the passion of one thousand burning suns (lol), when instead of having fun in the confines of their own fandom they have to go around spreading rumors, photoshopped pictures of two stars being intimate with each other and lie about them being authentic, pester the star's staff and friends, attack the stars' other co-leads that aren't the one they ship the star with etc. It's funny that prior to JongJoo I was involved in several fandom wars attacking the above described shippers as delulu, and now I am here
Was speechless when I saw posts suggesting both or one of JongJoo's groups are staying at that hotel because I myself stayed there during one of my trip to Tokyo
No comment on whether I agree that is the hotel they are staying in, and I do hope bad things will happen to anyone who tries to actually go there and bother them, all I can say is that I highly recommend this hotel it's very romantic, has great service, excellent view (esp the tower facing rooms as well as the top floor lounge), and located away from the hustle and bustle of touristy areas but is very convenient to get to places of interest. I especially highly recommend people who visit Japan on honeymoon to stay there-

So um, I want to file a complaint against Lee Jong-suk, Han Hyo-joo and MBC. I had a deadline I needed to meet today at work, and they had to release this darn video clip that I not only just had to watch, I spent hours reading through hundreds of funny comments reacting to the clip on various forums and blogs, resulting in me staying at office until almost 9 frigging pm
MBC! You do realize you are submitting a clip containing footage of a REAL LIFE couple to compete against rival TV stations who ALL have submitted footage of ONSCREEN couples, right? Did I misunderstand something? Was W BTS actually a miniseries starring Kang-chul who played Lee Jong-suk, and Oh Yeon-joo who played Han Hyo-joo?
LOL it just dawned on me how hilarious this whole thing is when I read a weibo post that compiled all five nominated couples' short lovey-dovey clip, and only ours is a BTS footage
Of course I thoroughly enjoyed this new clip and it's funny that, you could tell at the beginning Hyo-joo was treating Jong-suk no differently from how she usually treats a male co-star around her age, my guess is that she was expecting to gain another brother/buddy like she usually does, but then something went wrong (or right). She somehow turned him on LOL, poor girl must have been confused.
I too love the bit where Hyo-joo was fooling around like the three-year-old she is as per usual, yet Jong-suk walked straight to her like a predator seeing its prey, and she still had that innocent cute smile on her face until he completely closed in, and it was so funny/telling that she not only had to step backward, she turned her face in a way that looked like she was dodging a kiss
Also love the part where they were taking selfies and just chatting away on the couch, it's so the definition of everyday-romance. Heck I love this whole "MV" (as MBC described it), wonder if the editor ships this couple at all because otherwise he or she would have been in pain having to suffer through this much sweetness
You know what regardless of starting a romantic relationship or not, Lee Jong-suk and Han Hyo-joo should at least always see each other for their entire lives. They make each other so very, very happy and how often do you meet someone who can brighten up your world like that?

LOL I give up, no matter how hard I look the third and the fourth character were just way too unclear to tell what they were.
The only thing for sure is the first two characters are 北口 (kitaguchi) literally meaning North Exit but there are probably a million stores that start with 北口 in Tokyo, because there are many North Exits in Tokyo and Kitaguchi also happens to be a common Japanese surname

Hyo-joo's stylist PMH is also with her in Tokyo, judging by the geo-tag of his latest IG post they are in the Daikanyama district which is where all the top premier brands are located. PMG also used the #business and #fashion tags. So I am pretty sure this photo shoot is either for a fashion brand or a fashion magazine!

Burberry should seriously consider hiring the two of them to shoot a CF for them, they both look gorgeous in a Burberry coat!

Regarding the FM question, what I have to say are as follows:
Firstly, this was quoted by one single fan, I don't know if she quoted him 100% accurately but let's assume that she did.
Her question was: "Have you ever actually fallen in love with actresses who acted alongside you in a drama?"
His answer was: "There were indeed moments that I had such illusion, but please think about it, we were surrounded by dozens of staff it is impossible."
The issue I have against the version that is now quoted by everyone in fandom is how the translator translated the question, "Won't you ever...", this made fans feel that Jong-suk was saying that he would never fall in love with an actress that he is in the same drama with. But that is incorrect. I know why the translator worded the question that way, because the Japanese grammar structure is very... complex and it does not translate very well into English. The exact sentence structure of the question is "would you do such thing as falling in love with your co-actress", however it is NOT meant to say "will you ever do such thing" but "have you done such a thing". I know it's contradictory, but the Japanese language tries to be as delicate/polite as it can be, they don't want to ask you directly "have you done this?", but I am saying with 100% certainty the question should not be interpreted as "Won't you ever do this".
In addition to the unique Japanese sentence structure, my other piece of evidence is from Jong-suk's answer, "There were indeed moments... surrounded by dozens of staff..." His answer is clearly describing happenings in the past. And NOT whether he won't do such a thing because of personal preference or whatever reasons.
Secondly, of course his answer about past experience would include Hyo-joo, and in my opinion no sensible fan should suggest that he is lying. But personally as a shipper fan I am completely fine with this answer because:
1) His logic is objectively correct. How do you fall in love with someone when you are acting out all these lovey dovey moments in front of a huge audience?
2) He doesn't have to fall in love with someone BECAUSE he acted with her in love scenes. Otherwise we could assume that he has fallen in love with all of his past lead actresses. Nothing from his answer said that he would not fall in love with an actress that he has MET on a filming set, got to know her better in private and then started to love her real self instead of the character in the drama that his character was in love with.
My conclusion is that this was a neutral statement from LJS regarding my ship, but I won't try to convince anyone from leaving or staying in this fandom. I have always ignored posts that plead for reassurance that these two people will become a couple, and I will continue to do so. I don't know, no one but LJS and HHJ themselves know! The only thing I care, and this is how I am in all the fandoms I have ever participated in, is the accuracy and integrity of information that is being shared. As for what kind of conclusion a fan wants to draw based on the correct information, that is totally up to you
Lastly, it usually takes a couple of days for more comprehensive fan reports to surface in Japan, and you can forget about lengthy audio files that fans provide after Korean fanmeets. I doubt there will be much that will be of interest to JongJoo fans since he obviously is being low-key about topics relating to relationships/dating, remember how he was pretty much forced by the MC to even answer about his ideal type- something he used to respond instantly. But I will post if I find anything interesting, maybe not about JongJoo but about himself
