    HARRY POTTER all the Way.

As much as I love all the romance in the Twilight Saga except for the first part of Breaking Dawn which I swear has scarred me for life, the thrill I got when I read Harry Potter is incomparable, plus JK Rowling is a much better writer than Meyer, by miles.

What?!! Code Blue dropped from 20 to 16 percent?

I would've expected that from Gokusen, but CODE BLUE?

Since Yamashi.ta tomohisa is in it, maybe people were expecting a bit

    of romance....

And Maou....I hope it gets better ratings. I really support Ikuta TOma.

 weird...but heck she/he looks great both ways. is she a les?

i mean if she's not doesn't that bother her? whatever  getting off

topic and too descriptive. carry on... :sweatingbullets:

Bihyul's sexual preferrence is a very touchy subject here.

I once said, that I'd like to see her with a really hot boyfriend IF she's not a lesbo

which I never said she was inthe first place but merely accidentally implied it

but someone went psycho on me.

    Fans and their psychotic tendencies.....*sigh*

I thought all the Super Girls drama was over, that people and fans of other artists who are by the way from

the same freakin company have moved on.

I know I've said some unfavorable things about tiffany in the past, and I don't regret it, but that doesn't stop me from being an snsd fan.

SNSD has talent and in this industry, more than anything, you need to know how to entertain people

    and that's SNSD's strongest point.

I've never once seen any show, interview, guesting etc with snsd that bored me.

A minute of snsd video is a lifetime worth of heart-warming laughter.

This has nothing to do with the topic, but honestly, being a fan of the korean entertainment industry for almost 3 years now, I've observed that korean showbiz industry take physical beauty too seriously.

I guess I'm not as exposed to other asian entertainment yet as I am with korean but

ever since I became a fan that was the first time I heard that having a small face is actually attractive.

I never used to notice that before and even up to now I still don't know what exactly a small face is.

I think what I'm trying to say is, koreans(the entertainment industry) notice everything and the more they see something that's attractive in someone, like a nose of a particular actress, the higher the standard of beauty becomes, therefore more pressure for the new comers and people who idolize these artists. Hence, plastic surgery.

Here's an example, like when Jeon Ji Hyun became popular, suddenly there were Jeon JiHyun look-a-likes, like Park Hanbyul and that girl from TVXQ's banjun drama Masked Fencer.

Like Jeon Ji Hyun became the standard for beauty.

I probably don't know what the heck I'm talking about, but I hope I made even just a a bit of sense.

On the other hand, Binbo Danshi's fabulous. There's nothing to say except I highly recommend this series. It showcases not only Oguri Shun's versatility but Haruma's as well. I was impressed with his comic timing. I can't tell you how many times Shiraishi's antics have made me giggle like a 5 year old. I sort of gained enlightenment during the time I was watching - Haruma can do comedy awfully well! It helped that he seemed to have a real connection with Oguri; it enhanced his acting with a touch of realism. Again, I highly recommend the series. The boy's spectacular, really.

I agree with Binbo Danshi, I'd recommend this to all Miura Haruma fans. One word to describe his role; adorable.

He can play an innocent boy to a perfect T.

The music video he acted on. 4 minuted of pure Haruma charm.

    Yuzu- Umaku Ienai

Anyone seen Binbo Danshi? I'm only on episode 4 but so far it's pretty entertaining.

He's so cute there! Completely opposite from his tough guy character in Gokusen.

After watching a few eps of Gokusen and Binbo Danshi plus Koizora, I can now officially say that

he took over Ikuta Toma's #1 spot on my best actors list.

I thought Ikuta Toma was the most versatile actor I've seen yet (at least from the dramas I've watched)

but now I'm just totally hooked on Miura Haruma's acting.

    EDIT after 24 hours

I totally forgot about Oguri Shun, He's still number one and hten the rest comes after him I guess...

This is my very last, then after this it's bye bye for me again.

I don't see some of the old soshi fans anymore, so sad.

This is the Tiffany that i want to see more of, the Tiffany that I want to love.

For some reason, the Tiffany doing an interview alone, the one not surrounded with the rest of snsd is the

    Tiffany that is most natural.

    MNET WIDE- Tiffany CF interview

See, we're not hating, we just want to see more of THIS kind of Tiffany.

  9.

seriously WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH EVEYRONE?

As for you haters, if you really dont like any one of the girls? why are you here? why are you reading this? go back to your own little corner and stop bringing down the rest of the thread. Instead of wasting your time throwing your ignorant judgement of what you believe to be the "truth", go find a group that suits you, and support them like how the rest of us are

This is exactly the kind of comment I was dreading. Have you even read everything that was said about Tiffany?

Just because we've developed an unliking towards her doesn't mean we don't have the right to love the other members.

Personally for me, it's not even about trying to hog all the attention because I think we all know by now that Sooyoung is the Queen of Attention, and YoonAh has the most exposure, but for some reason, we're not even an inch bothered by that.

I just want Tiffany to be more genuine. I mean, Sunny can do the aegyo thing full blast without people getting annoyed by it, so Tiffany can do it too.

We're not saying she's a bad person, and we are definitely and absolutely NOT hating on her, it's just that somehow, we noticed things about her that other fans haven't. As fans, the things we said about Tiffany was very hard for us to say, we just want Tiffany to show us the real her.

I personally think that Tiffany is a good person, because why else would the rest of snsd love.

I don't really know where I'm getting at, but what I;m trying to say is, even though we've shared our thoughts about Tiffany and a majority of them might've been negative no one has the right to stop us from beign fans of snsd.

Just because we said those things doesn;t mean we're not allowed to fans anymore.

I actually think once in a while fans should be honest about what they feel about their idols.

I am sorry I have to say this

but i get annoyed by tiff too sometimes (but I don't detest her or anything)

    just my opinion

I don't seem to mind yoona getting all the attention

but when it comes to tiff I just somehow get pissed off

she tends to show off sometimes on shows

I don't know whether its considered showing off but she tends to steal others attention and that is bugging me

    really sorryyy~

and yes if its yoona i bet i won't feel the same, i cant explain why.

perhaps im a sympathizer coz back then when tiffany was being neglected is the time i fell for her.

    no offense all tiffany's fans!!

OMO! am i not the only one who's been feeling this way??? i thought my sister and i were the only ones who felt this way...

I haven't been here in ages! I'm glad to be back home.

I'm not new, just changed name.

As painful as it is for me to say this, what with being a snsd fan from the very start, I'm glad that I'm not alone in this.

It's not that we hate Tiffany because we all know that would be a major snsd-fandom suicide knowing that they've been

criticized so much before debut they definitely don't need more people hating on them

I don't really know how to explain it, but there's just something about her that's not so genuine.

Like when they had the April Fool's prank on her. Up to that point I've been trying so hard to like her but after seeing the kind of reaction she gave after the prank, that was my limit. I was all set to sympathize with her seeing that TaeYoen's prank made me teary-eyed, but after watching it, for some reason, it gave me more reason to dislike her even more.

I absolutey agree about YoonAh, even though she receives a lot of attention and she receives the most projects, for some reason it doesn't really bother me.

There's just something about Tiffany, I'm not gonna say she's fake because that would be too harsh and too cruel and too painful for me to say.

I hope fellow fans would understand our sentiments and not judge us.

BTW, I'm not basing my view on Tiffany just with that incident alone.

    Endless_Passion and Mira004

    You're so honest.

Yes, I think that's the word; irritating (that was sincerely hard to say)

    Another edit:

goodness gracious, I'm glad we're all being honest snsd fans and not hold back for the sake of not being judged as

    "true loyal fans"

AHH!! Haha this is really immasculine of me to say but I cried at the end lol. I was so invested with the characters that when they finally kissed I was like :tears:. Haha I think i just had residual emotion for the actual series, becuase the special wasn't that good :sweatingbullets: ir just seemed kindof thrown together.

So you're a guy, that's nice. You watched such a girly lovey-dovey drama.

ANyway, THE KISS at the end totally killed everything for me.

I mean the beach scene was so perfect: the dialogue, their facial expression, the sunset, yamapi,

everything was perfect expept for that one kiss. I wouldn'r even call it a kiss.

    I wish Masami could've relaxed a little.

Well in the conversation, I asked my dad what they thought of Marcos early on in his political career (writing a paper on the People Power Revolution) and his reply was 'Magaling siya'. But it doesn't make sense if I actually use it as 'very well' - 'The people thought of Marcos as very well'?? That's why I asked if 'smart' was how some people would translate it.

And sorry, but Filipino is the nationality of the people in the Philippines. The national languages are Tagalog (est. as an official language 1946) and English (est. 1901 as a result of American occupation). However, Tagalog began to be referred to as 'Filipino' in 1961, but the language itself IS Tagalog.

Well, you can say, Marcos could've been a great president then cite reasons as to why his regime could've

become a fruitful one. Since you're dad said that he was magaling, maybe you can write about his programs, projects, etc, then you can explain how his dictatroship lead to the failure of his regime.

I'm sorry too but FILIPINO IS the National Language and as elmo. mentioned, it can also be referred to as those people living in the Philippines.

Tagalog is just a DIALECT. I should know, I've been living here my whole life.

The Filipino language is composed of many different dialects, like tagalog, and borrowed words from other languages such as Spanish, Chinese, Indian etc.

  13.

no filipino is not a language,, its the nationality,,,,tagalog is the name of the language...

    FILIPINO is the NATIONAL LANGUAGE.

How would you translate 'magaling' as an adjective? I'm writing a paper, and the more I started thinking about the translation into English, the more I just got confused. What immediately came to my mind was 'very smart' or 'brilliant'

I think magaling means "well" or "very well", "do/does/doing well" in terms of when you're doing something.

Like when you say: Magaling siya sa volleyball translates to He/She palys volleyball well, or very well.

IDK I'm starting to confuse myself with adverbs and adjectives. I'm getting a bit old, my english grammar is getting a bit rusty.

I find it weird how people mistaken that Catholicism and Christianity are two separate religions. Just to clear it up - Catholics are Christians. Christianity has two branches - Roman Catholic and Protestant [well, you can include the Greek Orthodox].

I was baptized as a Catholic, but my mom raised me as a Buddhist. However, after my dad put me into Church, I went from Buddhist to Agnostic (which my family members do not know yet because they will shoot me if I told them that) then to Catholicism two years ago. And yesh, I'm happy to be a Catholic. I sometimes question the religion, but I totally believe in the teachings of the faith. And yesh, I love going to Church. It's my second home, and people can find me doing activities there. XP

You got the Catholics are Christians right, but Christians and or Protestants have certain beliefs that are different from that of

    Catholicism.

For isntance, adoration for Saints, the Pope and the Holy Trinity does not and cannot be applied to the Christian or Protestant faith.

    BTW, I'm Roman Catholic.

I'm not the most religious person, but I do have my way of communicating with God.

Catholicism is such a relaxed religion that's why sometimes people tend to neglect it's teachings(don't quote me for this though as this may very well only apply to my country)
