  1. ^--Spanish is my first language :D

He's not going out[as in not going outside or someplace?] - No va ha salir. [it depends if you want to say "he's not going out with her" then it should be No esta saliendo con ella]

estas- yes. i.e. [Yo estoy bien. Tu estas muy mal. El esta peor.]

    hope i helped .

Yes, I meant not going outside. Thanks so much for the help, I shall keep in mind. ^^

It's a little late, but I just wanted to point out that even though it's pronounced the same way it's spelled "No va a salir." You would only use the spelling ha if you were saying that he hasn´t left, No ha salido.

Everything else is right except if you want to see it with all the accents, which do make a difference when you write because without accents they´re technically different words even though people drop them when they type online all the time, it's:

    No está saliendo con ella.

    estás

    Tú estás muy mal.

    Él está peor.

Nah, I checked the responses a bit late anyways. I really appreciate your help and time, thank you!

  2. Honestly, I did before. But they weren't gigantic stuff as TV or computer of course (then I would've been considered a theif), just small materials as marbles, and magnet for the refrigerator, etc. I remember, I was in this store with my mom when I was 6ish? I was roaming around various of corners and picked up a small book, it reminded me of a spell book from a fairytale. In the thought of becoming a princess, I eventually got excited and decided to take it home. Honestly, I didn't even knew how to read properly, which means I totally neglected the content of the book. As soon as the cashier stuffed the groceries in the bags, I held some for her (we used to walk all the way home after marketing, my mom didn't knew how to drive back then) with the book secretly hidden inside my armpit. I think my mom mom noticed something suspicious from my actions though, she asked me what was wrong. That was when I got caught. When she realized I shoplifted, she was indeed dumbfounded and shocked but pretty much got over it since I was young. She told my dad and grandfather after we got home though, I felt so embarassed and shameful.

  3. I really need to learn Spanish for some personal reason but dictionary is not really helping. I wish this thread was as busy as the Japanese and Korean thread, Spanish is a beautiful language and definitely deserves more attention from others.

How do you say, "He's not going out" in spanish? And am I allowed to use the term "estas" to refer to someone's current condition/feeling? Like "estas enfermo" means "are you sick", no?
